Anyone having an issue with certain 'bugs' not being fixed yet, just be patient.. It'll get there. I'm sure the more pressing bugs that need to be addressed are being worked on and a fix will be coming soon enough.. Don't we all wish the bugs and issues that come up with each update are just a matter of a few quick keystrokes of code and wham-o! Bugz haz been squashed! Does quite work like that, unfortunately. Either way, hang in there.. The devs will take care of business. @HeutenCZ Not sure what is causing your issues bud. I don't seem to have any real hard fps drops in the areas that you have mentioned, but I also have a i7 CPU and a GTX 1080 Ti.. so performance is not an issue at all really, on my end anywho. In any case, I am trying to replicate the fps drops in those areas. With your system specs, you should be running pretty good though. What is your CPU usage, and GPU usage while you are in the areas in question? And is this happening on all the servers you join? There might be the possibility of some process running within Windows that is causing this to happen too. Maybe have a look at the task manager, mainly the Processes and Performance tabs, while you are having the hard fps drops and see if something there is causing it.

Nice!! Congrats to the dev team for getting DayZ to this point!! Beta! Looking forward to seeing what the future holds for DayZ.. and the DayZ modding community, can't wait to see what is to come!

Yeah.. I'm sure that the current jumping mechanic will be modified and changed to better suit different situations, i.e., standing next to a climbable fence or wall. Where I can see this would change the jumping action to a climbing over type action. The current jumping action seems like it was just a rough version just to get it in the game and have something 'usable' in the meantime.

I kinda miss the way Exp builds used to be played by everyone.. never really had to worry about being KOS'd. Now it seems you have to watch your back and go back to trusting no one. lol. And these players without mics, COME ON, MAN! Please get a mic... please? Pretty please?! I still find myself pretty much avoiding anyone who does not use a mic.

Still running the NVIDIA 373.06 on my 1080 (for Folding@home reasons) and DayZ has been running buttery smooth still. Though, I don't think the devs have implemented into DayZ's engine that would require the driver to be tweaked to work with it.. Not yet anywho. Can't wait until the devs bring in the character aging feature. One of the small things I can't wait to see ingame.

Well, at least x64 seems to be a lot more stable for me now. I was having a CTD every 10-15 mins with 0.61.136593. The last two exp builds seem to have made x64 pretty stable on my end.. so far. /knockonwood Really like how fluid DayZ is starting to feel.. far from the 'clunky' feeling from the past. @sneakydudeI was having the same issue with some of my mates I was running with, with weapons not showing up in their hands, or the wrong weapon showing in their hands if they were double-carrying. And the rare occasion not being able to loot a dead players body. You know, the player we killed who was KOS'n bambies and everyone else they came in contact with. Not that, that has anything to do with it, but.. just saying. :P

I can happen.. right? I mean.. what's the problem with this? :P Meanwhile, back at the ranch.. I wonder what the "Christmas Patch" will bring this year.. ? Looking forward to seeing what surprises come.

True.. but, the Sporter in previous versions of DayZ was a little too quiet IMO. While I don't own a Sporter, I do own a Remington Model 597 HB .22 which my son now uses.. while it's definitely not the loudest rifle out there by far, it's quite a bit louder than portrayed in DayZ previous to the 0.61 update. Seems like it still could use some tweaking in 0.61, but it sounds a lot better now.

I'm pretty sure I remember something being talked about in the distant past about the possibility of weapon slings/straps being added to DayZ for rifles, and other weapons that would be able to use such an item. Whether it be a lootable item, or crafted, would be nice to see this added in the future.. Maybe this is in the works, or even possible. ? I remember when I first played ARMA/DayZ mod back in the day, my first impression of the weapons/melee items just being 'stuck' on your back as it currently is, just looked silly.. I don't even think twice about it anymore as I have got used to it over the years. But it still would be nice to see a weapon strap of some sort being added in, in the future. Not sure how hard this would be to make happen, but it seems like it would be doable. Surely this has been brought up in the past, remember reading about someone talking about it over at /r/dayz a while back..

Well now.. I guess I make it 256. lol No matter.. just 2¢ more into the pool of suggestions I would love to see added.

I personally would like the devs open up a toggle option for server admins to control whether or not the server population shows up in the server setup options. At least be a little flexible as to having the option available for the admin/players. I see both sides of it, and I see how it can be beneficial to players being able to see what the actual server count is, and using that to determine whether or not you should join that server. On the other hand, I also see why people would not want to see the server exact population, and only being given the Low/Med/High/Full server status for the server pop. I just hope they open up a toggle option for server admins to control whether or not the actual population count shows up in the expanded info for the servers.
-
I'm pretty much in this boat. Although, as long as they do keep it so it shows the Low/Med/High for the server population, and the server size like it currently shows in the Exp build.. That's fine by me. I personally don't mind that it does not show the 'exact' number of players in the server.

Here to hoping the Exp servers come back online sometime this evening (EST). I was at work while they were up earlier, almost went home "sick", just to check it out. lol

^^ This, has already been confirmed.. btw. It'll be the first expansion pack DLC for DayZ after it's officially released. Come on, man.. old news. :P

So, I've been at work pretty much all day today, which kept myself out of the loop today.. in terms of DayZ Exp branch being offline until further notice. I do believe a tear ran down my cheek. Which I quickly wiped away, of course. I will carry on... I will.. carry on.

I've been in one of the CE 3pp servers now for about 30 mins, and counting, without issues. Servers were freaking out earlier, could not join, or would be kicked right after joining. Going pretty solid atm. It was raining when I joined, got nice and wet, not it's clearing up, kind of.

Same thing is happening to me. :/ I'ma going to keep on trying though.
-
Not sure about this one.. Next time that the unfortunate situation arises, I will test it out though. :)

Some shot during my last journey with 0.60 Experimental..

So, I was wandering up North above Tisy, checking out the area and exploring.. then came across a strange sight in the sky. It was in the middle of the night in Chernarus, maybe 2:00am ingame, so I thought maybe my eyes were playing tricks on me. It was what looked like a tree, floating what seemed like 500+ meters up in the sky... It's a little hard to see in the night sky, but as I got in closer, sure enough, it was a tree chilling up in the night sky.. It was out over the debug zone, which I did not want to venture out into just in case of a server crash. Just wanted to share some weird events as I saw them.

Yeah, there are quite a few bugs that need to be squashed out, that is for sure. But I really like how it is coming along.. The wait for this build was well worth it, IMO. Can't wait to see what the future holds.. As you said, patience is the key.. Yeah, I read on a Twitter post that they (DayZ devs) were working on expanding the server pool. This was a few days ago, back on the 6th of May I believe.

The boy King Joffrey.. He had it coming. Well done, good sir. Well done.. Meanwhile back at the ranch, I was in Vybor in the double green across from the Police Station, and trouble started. I was helping a semi-naked bambi that bolted into the Police Station and was gunned down immediately. I went over to the double green and took up a position upstairs, not knowing if the other guy saw me or not. Well, someone he did. After a few words were exchanged, we decided to go our separate ways. I hit the door with my axe to quickly unlock it, and the other guy thought I fire my weapon at him.. So, then he vows to kill me. I quickly run back up stairs, we exchange a few more words, sizing eachother up as best we could.. I keep my FAL, with only 5 rounds, trained on the door, and trying to watch the Police station roof top just in case. And then.... Server crash. /sigh Goodtimes..

Have not had this happen to me yet. Energized status remained while having the "Healthy" status on my toon..

No, your absolutely right.. But, the streamers are showing off the new, shiny, build to everyone for free.. It's called marketing, my dear. Trying to fire up sales and added revenue with a new player base for DayZ. While at the same time driving old players, who have since stopped playing DayZ SA, to reinstalled and play the shiny new build. This new game renderer is doing this already and by itself.. DayZ's new renderer is going to spark new interest in DayZ among people who have lost interest and who have long since moved on to something else. EVERYONE, has been waiting for this.. Every streamer I follow that plays DayZ, or used to play, said it felt like a brand new game to them.. Gave them that "feeling" again.. You know, THAT feeling?? <-- DayZ players will know what this means. :)
-
You are aware that there is a DayZ 0.60 Experimental "Streamer Server" setup, just for streamers.. right? This was done so the streamers could showcase and show off the new build to the masses. :) And that server you were watching was just full of Twitch streamers.. nothing more.
