    Polana massive lag issues

    I was just in Polana yesterday on the exp build and did not experience this lag you speak of. Were you able to reproduce it? By this I mean, did you leave the area then come back and experience the lag? Or try another server and see if you get the same results? Going to check this out again myself on our clan server and see whats up..

    I sure the minor details of the animations, sounds, etc will all be worked on further and be finished in a future patch. Nothing is final with everything you have stated above in your post.. still a WIP.

    I'm hoping it's released to stable soon.. But I am also going to stay patient and have no problem waiting for it to be released to stable, when it's ready to do so. So many goodies with this new exp build. IMO, it's probably the best patch for DayZ SA we've seen yet. :)

    I does take a bit of practice, that's for sure.. and without seeing the bullet impact points(i.e., dust/dirt kickin up from the bullet hitting the ground, etc), it does make it quite a bit harder.. esp at 500+ meters. There are some points on the map that I know pretty much where to zero the LR scope to without really having to think about it, other areas, it's just trial and error. And hopefully don't get counter-sniped or ambushed in the meantime. Can't wait till they get the bullet impact points showing up at long ranges fixed.

    lol.. Sup bud! Fancy seeing you around these parts! :) But yeah, probably right.. 4mb patch can only have so much content. I did give it a quick go though, and didn't have any issues. The new 337.88 NVIDIA driver is doing wonders for Standalone btw.. for anyone who has not installed it yet.

    Taking things slow and steady will decrease the chances for rubberbanding, as others have said.. Especially around/in buildings. Server side low FPS is the main culprit it seems, which this is effecting all experimental servers as you all have experienced. Slowly walking, not running/sprinting, inside of buildings will save you the annoyance of rubbberbanding. It does work.. I've not had much issue with rubberbanding in the open areas, i.e., woodland and plains, etc.

    I was playing/streaming experimental last night, and rubberbanding wasn't all that bad actually. MUCH better than the previous night, where it was almost unplayable. While I did have some issues with the rubberbanding last night here and there, it wasn't really that bad.. meaning, not as frequent as the night before anywho. :)

    AKM is in the exp build.. seem some vids/streams with players using it. :) Unless it's been taken back out for whatever reason. Hope not tho. It did sound just like the SKS from the vids I have seen of it tho.

    Not having the said issues, crashing, as you put it.. Any particular thing you are doing when the crashes occur? Is it possible that it maybe an issue with your hardware/software causing it? System specs plz.

    Not sure on weapon stats, but as for the optics, The PU scope will fit it, and I'm sure the PSO-1 will be coming for it as well. That'll be a given. along with any other side mounted scope that may be coming. :)

    I love playing during the night personally. Especially when you find someone to mess with.. Stalking someone in the dark can be quite the trill, that's for sure. But yeah, I do find it somewhat easy to get around without a 'torch' of some sort just by using the moon light. Some areas of the map and indoors do require the map or torch to be brought out here and there, just to quickly find whatever loot you are looking for, then quickly put it out again and move along. I often do find myself, waiting around Berezino, in an undisclosed area, waiting for someone to turn their lamp/torch on. Then the game is on.

    Kinda been that way for a long time bud.. not played exp branch much, eh? But anywho.. was playing stable branch tonight a bit and spawned in with my kitted toon on top of the roof of one of the 2 story apt/houses. Not much of a way to get down unless you take the quick route.. jumping to your death. So, I logged out of the server, then rejoined, only to be unconscious with broken legs. lol.. goodtimes, but didn't end well for me. :P

    This is a known issue: https://twitter.com/DragonBlade117/status/460826260877635584 Bows will maybe be working in the next exp/stable build.. ? You do realize there are different "teams" within the said Dev team itself working on different aspects of the game, right? While those devs are wasting time on new content, as you nicely put it, there are others who are working on other areas of the game.. i.e., bug fixing, art, etc. In the meantime, relax. Enjoy the game and stop worrying about people using their silly hacks. IMO, I really don't give a flying @#$% if I get killed by a hacker. The way I see it, if you need to use a hack to kill me, lol.. then you must really suck at playing DayZ without using the hack.
