    Max 'effective' range.. yes. I've been well past the 1000m mark on the map and still be able to use the transmitters. Like I said in my above post, anything past 900m, you start hearing static. Which increases the farther you go.. obviously. :)

    Around 1000m meters is it's effective range.. anything past 900m and it starts getting staticy.

    I don't see Spartan raging.. But whatever. Guess I'm gunna hop back onto the experimental build (has it been updated?) and play around with it some more until the new stable comes out.. Hopefully tomorrow. :)

    Usual downtime is at least 2 hours, and yes... The patch is going to stable. So they say.. :)

    So, looks like the servers are down for maintenance.. and hopefully the patch. :) Guess i'll bum around on the experimental servers some until it's over. Been a long 2 weeks waiting for this to come to stable! Big thanks to the DayZ team for their hard work.. Much appreciation! :thumbsup: :beans:

    I'd buy it again, and again, if I had to do it over again.. DayZ SA has been getting better with each update, that's been a given. Sure, new bugs are being introduced as we go along, but hey.. it's expected. I'm 325+ hrs into SA now.. definitely no regrets.

    Hmm.. well. I've come across many people like you ingame. And this is one of the reasons to not trust anyone you come across ingame. Not sure how you think you were helping, didn't see the guy with broken legs asking to be killed, did he? Oh well.. 'tis the DayZ life. Hope to see you ingame. <_<

    Um, probably not.. KOS is just part of the game, as it always has been with DayZ. I personally am not one who KOS's people, unless the other person is a 'threat' to myself or anyone with me. Just have to learn to adapt to that part of the game, and unfortunately, get used to it. It's going to happen.. :)

    Lately, been running as a pair with either me playing overwatch/sniper, and the other with the M4/SKS, or visa versa. Only one of us would tote a backback with the essentials we may need. I personally have grown acustom to just the improvised backpack when going solo. It has a low enough profile for not being easliy recognized in the field. And has enough space for anything I might have to take on. If you haven't already, you need to watch Sacriels vids from the mod and recently, SA. He employs a lot of good tactics/strategies thatr many can learn from.

    .. and remember, USE the search function. There are some forum topics that tell about these locations. And just follow the train tracks.. :) You'll eventually find the train stations! and the newly added railway shack (currently in teh exp branch).

    There was talk of the possibility of Cigarettes coming into the game.. Not sure if this was just "talk" or what tho. Was talked about during one of Sacriels streams that Dean was on. I'm all for that.. 200th post... (one small step for survivors, one giant leap for.. umm, yeah. That's all I got... )

    Traveled to the Hoxton holy site..the dark magic, The Wiggles. Did a little wiggle for old times sake. Strange place to find a Statue. Out in the middle of the woods, and not much else around.. and a curious radio of sorts behind it. hmm.

    I've found the Press Vest and Anti-stab vests numerous times.. While they are 'rare', I've come across them quite often. Ballistic Vest, now that is one I've only found once..
