Hey, saw this thread and thought I'd post a (very!!) quick test on the Mosin accuracy too.. maybe I just suck, but it seems to be off pretty bad as well. I'll post the video and the description for it below. Thoughts? " This is at 400 meters. First shot - Mid upper chest - bullet goes over head. Second shot - Compensated by aiming at waist - Bullet lands at waist level but to the left. Third Shot - Upper chest - Bullet lands way left and high Fourth Shot - Aimed@legs - Lands at feet (but he began to move) First time using the rifle with the scope so don't flame me too hard. Everything pristine. Is the accuracy completely random? I have more footage at 800meters but it's hard to see the bullet landings. "

I've actually been holding people up in alpha now with the handcuffs (although most run and get shot, or alt-f4) .. but that's besides the point. Core mechanics need to be fixed before tiny "cute" features that don't affect overall playability .

I agree with Zeds, enough of this stupid irrelevant "realistic' additions. I think things like.. uhh.. the lack of zeds, horrible accuracy, combat logging, hacking, (should i go on?) be addressed before your character can take a shit or pick his nose. C'mon now.

Not even the mod. DMR's, M24, etc spawned in the firestations alone. Remove ALL military loot from the south, and I'm ok with. Only ok, but I can compromise :P

How does it make sense again?

Mosins are pure shit past 600 meters (i have a video I'll post later). At 800 every time i aim at the chest of this guy (went in sitting position to mock my sniping) it will go to the left, right, above or below, in complete randomness. Compensating for the direction of the first shot does nothing because.. well.. it's simply fucking random.

Have nothing else to do, might as well. Only 1% of humans remaining, might as well finish them off with 360 no scopes.. ;)

Blom, I gotta say, you've added nothing useful to this thread. You haven't made a valid case against his argument.. only been annoying. With mark on this. I don't know about the sunglasses thing, but the dispersion could easily be changed.

I killed my first deer when I was 6 years old with a scoped AR-15. Even kids can use guns. It wasn't fully auto because it was illegal, but it's EASILY made fully auto.

I did a search, just found stuff about the voip issue. Not what i'm talking about. Will there be side chat like dayz mod in blue? I know it breaks immersion or whatever, but it's also entertaining when running for 45mins. Anyone know if it will be added in?

Ya but do they work yet? And will i have to have it in my hands at all times to use? I should be able to have it turned 'on' in my inventory and listening at all times while still holding a rifle. Hoping..

No. I think it's a glitch. Only had it happen once. I had a mossin equipped, a backpack, and below the backpack at the bottom of the list, my m4. M4 was on my back with mossin in hands. When i went to switch the mossin with the m4, the m4 vanished but I still had my mossin.

I think they took the bug of novy spawn in the mod and made it a real thing (with high chances, unlike the mod) ... I'm loving it to be honest. I hope there are more inland (but not too close to military loot)

There's already a chest holster for your pistol.. and several chest vests..

Like above, clothing and ammunition.. I like actually searching for stuff. On the mod, my friend and I just went to our base, grabbed our DMRs and GG. Now we have to (and enjoy) looting up towns. I like the new movement of zombies. I like the new layout (trees and bushes slightly adjusted) more realistic feeling of nature. I like the handcuff system. LOVE the novy spawn. Wouldn't mind seeing more north spawns (but not near barracks and shit)

Where did he say that? I also own an AR-15.. Live in Arkansas, United States. It's super fucking common for people to own guns.. I literally cannot think of one male friend who does not own a gun. I'd say about 30% own AR, and all have shot them. Get over yourself.

YES. I want that 100 people.. might actually see some people up north. However, with that large of a server, i want to see shit respawning first.
