    Alpha... Still,This is ridicilous

I know, but I would have bought Arma II and installed the mod instead ;) I get that it's alpha. It's just so freakin frustrating. Because you know how good this game could/ will be I guess..

    So, reset on everything?

    I feel you man
  3. The last 4-5 times I've played I have died every session because of server malfunction, lagging off buildings or just randomly dying/ getting reset for no reason at all. I get that it's an alpha, but development should have come far enough to make the game sort of playable. It's not really now. I would honestly NEVER bought the game if I knew it was this buggy. The fact that you simply die out of nowhere cannot be in a game that I paid over 20€ for..Even though it's an alpha. This is just a reminder for YOU Dean. Get things going, you rich son of a *****.
  4. Basically, when DayZ was launched, I had never before heard of it.. So I thought: Should I buy the game, or buy Arma and mod? Now, I certainly regret not modding Arma. After watching a couple of Frankies vids, I really want DayZ SA to evole to that level. And not in a year.. Can anyone give a rough estimate? Will it ever become as many weapons, things to do and stuff like that in SA?
  5. Rope, Gun silencer & Weapon flashlight are all good to use.. Rope is like handcuffs, only not as secure. Gun silencer wont attract zombies when you fire. Weapon flashlight attaches to the M4 if you got rails on it.
  6. How about adding some grenades that can deploy smoke, flash, gas and teargas? I thought about it since we already have gasmasks.. Imo that would be a cool thing and great to have in a combat situation to AVOID killing a player. Flashbang, then restrain. :)

    CTD w/ in-game sounds

So.. I played for the first time this night, and after fooling around a bit, I left because of CTD too many times. It's not a regular CTD, because it seems I'm still ingame. I get footstep-sounds when pressing "W" on my keyboard, and the game is fully functional. Only I can just seem my own desktop, not the game. If I try to Alt+Enter and make it fullscreen, it crashes. Has anyone else got this? Is it my computer or DayZ's fault?
