So far its looking like the opposite if you ask me. No its pretty much the same thing as in 3pp the game does not change in the slightest besides the obvious wall peeking there is really no difference. Iv played on both and there is really nothing that makes me feel any less or more intense with the current state of the game at the moment. Actually im playing the best version of dayz if you ask me. Again its a matter of perspective between what you find acceptable and what i find acceptable. The environment is currently at the moment not very immersive at all whether your playing FPS or 3PP so that makes no difference. Until some serious environmental weather and various body conditions appear its not going to be immersive at all. I have no issue with ppl wanting to play on the servers they choose to or deem appropriate. I do however have a big issue with ppl telling me how to play my game experience in a sandbox based game and forcing me to play on one play style on official servers. There is no reason to make all the official servers 1pp you could throw in a few 3pp official servers and id be all the more fine with it. Not everyone that plays 3PP is a cheater which was a silly accusation to begin with.

Yeah i want it to get to the point of where if you go outside unprepared it can draw huge consequences even for simple things like pvp.

I haven't forgotten my roots. Im as white as a god damn polar bear. But on topic i would say the Mod is still very fun to play its just for the Standalone the pieces have yet to fall into place. Im hopping once they do it will provide just as much hours as what the mod gives me currently with replay value. I do really enjoy the realism they have been giving us with guns though with the Standalone. However im still waiting to see how this crafting system is going to play out beyond what we cant currently make in game. Some kind of mutant zeds would be nice for increased danger like the Blood Drinkers in Namalsk.

I didnt realize this game was trying to become an E Sport with terms like League. There is no need to dumb down the experience of 3PP for the sake of making FPS better though. If game mechanics can be enhanced in FPS mode than it wouldn't be as big of an issue and you might actually see a resurgence in players. No but demonizing 3pp because certain ppl cant play the game properly isnt very fair though ether. Thats mainly to the ppl that seem to think both less of it and the players that enjoy it.

Again without all the proper mechanics the FPS will still be extremely lack luster so it would be kind of pointless really as most of the complaints i see involve pvp play and thats about it. Making official servers all 1pp would be a silly move. And if i were to play on an unofficial server just for 3pp would that even guarantee me a good clean experience without hacking and bad GMs? Lol you seem to have a real issue with ppl that enjoy 3PP and who want to defend it.

Iv been giving plenty of constructive input on the subject on why this would be a pointless move. If you choose to drown things out thats your problem.

Probably because allot of ppl are to busy playing the game or just don't give a fuck about these kinds of polls to begin with. But its evident you see less ppl on FPS. I play on both and i would like the option to keep both around. It just depends on what mood im in to dictate what kind of server i would like to play on. And since the survival element is greatly lacking still i see no real difference in FPS or 3PP atm.

Getting rid of 3pp servers all together wont make the game anymore or less immersive though. Not until the weather becomes more dynamic to where you can almost literally relate cold and hot to your own human body and your character can do almost everything a normal person can do in real life physically. It really wont change how ppl pvp ether to be honest or hackers for that matter. Also the hud for FPS is no more realistic than any other generic shooter at the moment. Most ppl in REAL LIFE that see in FPS mode will still see bits of there nose and other various body parts at work such as hands for typing and doing other chores as well as being able to see a fair amount of chest area without having to move the mouse up and down in a primitive fashion just by moving the eyes without tilting the head. The game has a long long ways to go if you want it to be an immersive virtual simulator. And i know some of the other Suvival games like The Long Dark are FPS only however they have the struggling elements and hostile wildlife nailed down to where it feels immersive no matter what your doing. Even if I play on FPS mode only servers for Dayz i still feel much safer than I should.

Some of you sound worse than a service quire condemning ppl for not believing in a certain religion because everything else is just bad.

Im mainly in it for the PVE the PVP comes second and im quite vocal with keeping it as a choice for official servers. I just don't think its fair to make all the official servers FPS only. It should be half and half. I would like to feel safe knowing that im on a legit server when i play rather than give my self to the mercy of admins in unofficial servers just to enjoy 3PP. I also shouldn't be forced to pay extra just to have a server that offers 3PP as an option just because i dont want to deal with hackers or unsavory fellows in general.

How about focusing on the survival aspect in general rather than worry about camera angles for pvp combat? I would say the survival aspect is 100 xs more broken at the moment than the concern about what the camera perspective should be. He makes some interesting points but its still using that popularity to a negative advantage to MAKE ppl play the way he want them to play not the way they want to play. I really don't care how much experience a boobtuber has in the end it comes down to my own personal choice of how i would like to play not his or anyone else. If the games were designed to be FPS only they would not have even included this prior to putting it in. If you don't want that specific type of camera angle in a game you make sure even in a beta or alpha that it does not exist to begin with. But since this is a sandbox game third person does make sense. Hence why they have servers dedicated to both styles of play.

Than don't play on 3rd person servers and complain that we need to get rid of them. Its that simple No one is forcing you to break your immersion.

Dude thats some one ealses opinion though. Im perfectly happy with having both around. Trying to purge the game of only having FPS and making ppl have to pay for a server in order to activate 3rd person just to enjoy a game is not the way to go about it. I don't come on here complaining about the lack of immersion FPS provides. I enjoy both i really don't see the problem of both being able to coexist together.

Umm there are quite a few survival horror games that involve 3rd person view as a means to play the game as the main camera view point. Resident Evil Silent Hill The Evil Within Telltales: The Walking Dead State Of Decay I really don't think its very fair to limit everyones enjoyment to just one mode when you have one that can offer better immersion for other ppl that might be more interested.

I agree this seems like a rather silly movie if you guys ask me. I feel more immersed in 3rd person than i do playing with the limited FPS view.
