More unique landscapes with dips, rock structures, possible caves, canyons, much larger chain lakes inland, etc would help diversify this in allot of ways to as well instead of the cut straight path of hills, open fields and very poorly developed streams of water.

Maybe the developers are realizing ppl are getting more board with the wilderness than towns and thats why they are trying to get ppl to spread out all over the map. Everyone is pretty much centralizing where all the high end spots are anyways. No reason to go into the middle of nowhere at the moment.

Well to be honest there would be no reason to him to go back to military spawns unless his basic clothing was damaged or he needed Nato ammo now that he has an M4. All thats left for him to do is kill new spawns and chopper hunt. Sad but true at least how i see it from his side. However i like going everywhere and i always try to talk with ppl no matter what but when a guys pointing a gun at you while your trying to talk you got every right to try and fight back. Even fresh spawns can be dangerous if you let them go. So he probably saw you as a potential threat more than anything else. Thats why you try to stay out of those big cities until your better armed and have some Binoculars to scout places out a little before entering. In fact if you see some one before they see you don't even talk just get the hell out even if they spot you and just keep running.

You need to avoid all contact with ppl when your a fresh spawn ESPECIALLY ones that are armed until you become more seasoned and can get all the gear you need to counter an attack. You didn't tell us where you were at the time. If its anyplace with high grade military items or weapons no wonder. Even places with police stations can be considered medium to high grade depending on luck. Next time start looking in open barns and EVEN on top of industrial buildings. I went on one just to check and i found a mosin and a few other items. So there are definitely ways you can gear up fast it just takes some exploring and less socializing.

Now a UNIQUE military combat knife i can understand being a rare thing but hunting knifes are rather common in stores and sometimes even in ppls homes. Id at least think they would be in a deer stand if anything? XD

Personally i like the 101 better i sliced some one up damn good with it after I tried communicating with them and they made a failed attempt to try and get free loot from me with no response. Yeah but if you look at the patch notes it says Hunting knifes are in so im curious about this. They must be ether VERY small and easy to pass up or just ubber rare in general.

And after a few hours my character is fully geared with an almost fully moded AK 101 minus the scope. Killed some one that was hostile to me with by not responding and trying to shoot me. It silenced him pretty damn good in his failed attempt to get free gear. So with that being said it shouldn't be to hard for ppl to get stuff and live a long time.

Lol you guys get to bent up over this. Im already full geared with a few military pieces missing but yeah still geared to the teeth.

I wont be sad cause you will be able to gear your guys out fine its just all about adapting to survive. I know my way around the map pretty well now just by location landmarks. Same with riding my bike in real life. I dont remember street names but i can remember specific locations and streets that i go on.

I normally go through towns as well as stay in the woods. What do you do? Run around in the most obvious spots for ppl to spot you not paying attention to your surroundings? The ONLY places you should ever be super cautious at are military areas and police stations as some places maybe only have one access point or 2 in and out. You can live for months and still get into cities. Just don't take forever roaming around in one area. Stay on the move and use the binoculars they gave you when you can find them to scout out possible danger zones for few minutes before entering.
