I voted "absolutely disgusted by it". Let me tell you there are both 3RD person and FPS. No one is forcing anyone to play ether. I enjoy being able to choose which server type to play on for different feels of the game. Forcing ppl to choose only one server type because a few hardcore players refuse to stick with what they like is not the best way to go about it. Cant really agree with you on this part. There in a much EARLIER alpha stage than we currently are. We have been at this now for almost 2 years in a row now and are currently in a huge engine game transfer giving this game much more time to develop and grow considering H1Z1 was only just released this year. And i find that game to be more desirable in certain aspects over this one. And have no problem switching between the 2 at various times. Each game has there flaws and strengths right now.

Well this patch seems to be allot better than .56 and i even managed to find a hunting scope which is pretty cool. To bad it doesn't work on the IZH rifle. No idea why considering its a single chambered rifle with no cartridge capacities or the like.

This game inspires me to go buy military weapons and gear. THANKS DAYZ! 83

Its been really quite these past few days. No updates since the 21st lol on the dev forum. Hopefully this means there is a big patch coming.

I want to be able to make shish kabobs now! Since we have all the necessary ingredients to make it. That and pizza! XD And mushroom soups! :P I think its cool were getting more foods to cook with considering mushrooms make up a large portion of food consumption in various countries.

I know you can pick cat tails in The Long Dark and can consume them for nutrition. Im hopping Dayz does the same thing to. Cause i really like doing that when things get down to the wire with extreme survival conditions in that game.

The consumption of food and the depletion of nutrients shouldn't be so extreme though. Eating just half of a steak, chicken, or whatever meat you find should be more than enough to hold you over for awhile. Hopefully they balance it a little more although i think the reason we deplete water and food so fast is for testing purposes. All i know is if i were to consume that much food and water in real life i wouldn't have to worry about anything for about 6 hours or more.

I never did find one of those new hunting scopes yet but ill be damned if i didn't find another PU scope. XD

My character is doing much better these past few rounds. Been finding allot more gear as well as food. I did however hunt a cow when the AI was briefly back in for the week. Got some cow steaks still incase things get really bad again. Also instead of an axe i decided to make a fishing pole which i plan to use for emergency purposes as well. I was finally able to find an AKM and an AK 74 but they were in some of the weirdest places. One was right behind the dumpster on the side of one of the jails. But i only kept the AK 74 my other main is going to be the Winchester 70. Anyways here is a pic of how my character is doing. Im also REALLY enjoying the boot slot for the combat knife to. Saves you so much slot space for much possible much needed extra item or food. :)

If some one is dumb enough to get close to a person that has already pulled the pin they should very damn well get there body blown to bits for being stupid. I can see far to often ppl get greedy by running up to get the gear just to have there precious kill back fire on them and destroy there hard earned character. A perfect lesson for some one to learn. Also this wouldn't be out of the realm of realism considering ppl have booby trapped corpses with grenades before. Grenades are already hard enough to find as is. So coming across some one with a set is very slim at best.
