Well i did pay to get in the beta for path of exiles but i got some other shit you cant get through the game now since release. But the game was always meant to be free to play from the get go on there part they just had early access for ppl that wanted to play and test the game before official release. But if you guys want to continue to see solid official content from the publishers rather than mods they have to have the income to make it some how regardless. So its possible one of these models might get set up in the future. -

Dude Path Of Exile is free to play and it has NOTHING you can buy to win with its all vanity stuff you can purchase. Thats an example of a good free to play game. If they were smart and went that route than it would be fine its the PAY2WIN you have to worry about. -

Im sure ppl are crazy enough to murder some one over this. Iv heard of acts of violence over opinions and other things before related to games. He should have kept this quite for now. Some crazy ass nut might be planing something and he would never know it until its to late. Believe me ppl get REALLY physical over video games even more than movies and freaking music sometimes. If ANYTHING he should have kept this quite for his safety. -

Its a BIG deal though. Id be worried more if ppl DIDNT respond to this rapid change in things. -
From a technical standpoint its always about the money most of the times whether or not ppl want to admit it sadly. Production cuts, the works it all comes down to money. Im curious as to why he even wanted to do this in the first place if he was just going to give up on it less than a year into production. Most good games take about 5-10 years to make depending on the quality and depth of it.

It has everything to do with the game and topic at hand. The zombies are the most core feature of the game beside survival. If it takes over 10 months to even try and get things fixed with little or no progression afterwards im going to be very sad. But again there are other games to play till things get possibly straightened out. I just think it was a BAD idea to announce this only 2 months into alpha. Were NOT even close to beta yet ether. -

Dude i can understand your upset. Its rather strange he decides to leave in the middle of production of one of his greatest games. Idk we will have to see how it all plays out. He reminds me of another guy if im not mistaken. That guy that always makes HUGE promises but fails to deliver most of the time. Guy who makes the Fable games if im not mistaken lol. How many of you will buy a product from Rocket again if somehow this game goes under? Im just curious really not trying to troll.
