I started a DayZ Server on 1.7.6.1! If you want to experience Old DayZ then feel free to join. We have a few players at the moment but need more. I have a DayZ 1.7.2.6 server to try and relive the good old days of dayz. But it doesn't work that well without players. At the moment we have a player base of about 4-6 on occasions but we want more to try and get the full experience. The server is vanilla but we will be having events to give players a chance to get some loot. So i hope to see some more people on there soon. So me and a couple of friends started a new DayZ Private Hive on Chernarus on the version 1.7.6.1. It is completely vanilla and there are around 40 cars and 5 Helis. I have a DayZ 1.7.5.1 private hive that needs players. The server is Vanilla Chernarus and there are a few DZAI that I have added due to lack of players. There is a fair amount of Cars and Helicopters to go around. If you don't like the newer updates such as 1.8 then this is an alternative. Ok. Would it be possible for something not as old such as 1.7.6.1? I'm kind of new to server hosting so I don't know that much about it.

I recently bought a server from HFB and was wondering if I could roll back the Vanilla DayZ version from 1.8.0.3 to an old version such as 1.7.2.6. I have tried replacing the @dayz, MPmissions and the dayz_server with that of 1.7.2.6 but I am faced with an error that says the server is running an outdated version. If anybody knows how to do this please let me know. Thanks, CombatShades.

I would have let it go by if the admins didn't accuse me of hacking every time I joined the server and then put it on their Facebook page. Also I posted an admin abuse post on their "Admin Abuse" section of their forums and they removed it. They obviously know they have messed up and want to hide it.

For a while now me and a few others have been playing on a DayZ Oldschool server. It was a good server to play on for a while until only recently. I was accused of Hacking the server with some kind of scripts or cheats. Even though they gave no proof of me hacking they went ahead and Threatened to ban me, I explained to them that I didn't even play on the server that day and that they should check the GUID of the "Hacker" and see if it compares to mine. The admin replies: "Ill do it tomorrow". I accepted the admins offer and returned the next day. Still no sign of them or ban etc. I have messaged them many times on their website (http://pendulumdayz.webs.com/) and they didn't reply once. One possibility for this accusation was that me and a friend had stolen gear from one of their camps up north. So i decided to not play the server for a bit. And if it didn't get worse, they posted pictures of them blowing up our camp (that had nothing in it anyway because they removed it) with a tank. The evidence is just sitting there on their Facebook page. So to anybody thinking of trying this server I wouldn't advise it even though I have posted a few Topics promoting their server. I just thought this shouldn't be ignored. There is a DayZ !!!MOD!!! server that I think deserves a few more players. The server has a nice balanced community of Bandits and Heroes and also players that are new to the game. I just think that the server could do with a few more players to bring more action to the game. It is fully vanilla but it has 2 barracks at the North East Airfield. To join the server you have to downgrade your dayz to version 1.7.2.6. I hope to see more player traffic on here soon. IP - 85.190.160.62:2302 The timezone is GMT +1 Thanks :)

I myself am not a fan of the new dayz patches. I know that lots of people are and i think it isn't that bad. But i think that i had most of my good times on the old dayz. I managed to find this server the other day and i have to say it isn't bad. It is pure vanilla dayz with all of the old features such as the AS50, M107 and L85 AWS. To play you have to install the old version of DayZ 1.7.2.6 on DayZ commander. The server lacks one thing, and that is Players. Yes there are a few people that log on now and then but i feel it needs more than that. Here is the IP - 85.190.160.62:2302 I hope to see some more player traffic on there soon :D

I will have to check this out. I love namalsk but there is a shortage of vanilla server :D
