  1. It´s persistent.. or not ? For me, its a way of hiding stuff that for WHEN I DIE i can retrive what i had saved for bad times. Whats the meaning of a permanent storage, when it degrades after the player dies ? Help me out.. maybe i´ll get it then..

    just got nearly killed by something similar.. do not know if it was a Z´ but it certainly didi hit me twice and broke my leg.. :( happened to me three times in variouss buiuldings since .46 and also in exp .47 also i did not hear any sounds (punching/screaming from infected) or saw any shadow ?!?

    How to use the long range scope?

    LR scopes have, like mostly any other scopes, a fixed zoom for instance the Huntings scope of my Grandfather had a 12x magnification while ACOC´s have views from 1.5x & 6x magnification..in dayZ ithink around 3,5 or 4x so nope, you cannot zoom while in scope view.. what you can do is change your fov setting ingame

    You guys forgot to mention Joule where as a .45acp projectile would bring a force between 332–735J a 7,62x54R bullet would go more for 2920–4466 J and this all, like mentioned above, dependened on the size weight and shape of a projectile and many more factors like wind etc. i would consider a 12gauge slug in 50m distance a good "stopper" bcause it will not travel as fast than other calibres and so .. won´t go through "material" that easy
  6. Helicopters.. huhm they most certianly will controll like a Pumpkin, with implented software written by the most professional Hipster Guinea Pig out there. It´s not like ToH or Arrma 3.. more like playing Angry Birds with Voice commando and totaly 2015 with its social features like Super Awesome ingame Vehicle-Chat and shit.. will be great.. what you expect ?

  10. Now that hunting will be implemented, there will be close to unlimited food (if animals respawn). We allready have unlimited water.. so please devs.. PLEASE make the game more tense and immersive and reduce the foodspawns to a minimum I miss namalsk, in the SA there is just sadly NO SURVIVAL at all too much ammo ( what encourages PvP) and ..yeah.. waay too much food ..

    There is waaay less ammo in the mod .. and everbody knows.. it works! And come on guys.. carrying 2 boxes with 1200 shells and having 8x60-shot doublemags is just ridiculous nonsense.. & besides poor gameplay that leads to (spaying ammo without thinking) you would need a car to carry that amount of weight btw. i was talking about LESS ammo, not close to none and @MusabSurvivor isnt´this happening allready for othewr reasons.. ? also we ahve a lott of diffrent ammo so malkes no 100% sense but with close to no ammo i would agree with yyyou

    Topic-title nails it most important points imho - less ammo (less coastal-rambo-kiddies shooting everything without thought.. because why should they? ..nuff ammo at the moment to go fkn nuts) - less food (there is currently close to no survival in this game (i.e. compared to some mods of DayZ miss those "heeelp-i-am-going-to-die" moments ) - shivering (if in cold condition,see playerbreath, you would slowly start shivering and have to go inside or make a fire to prevent further shivering and finaly death) just my 2 cents since Hardcore is not Hardcore enough

Walking sucks, but i CAN wait for vehicles because in the current state of playermentality, i think as soon as Helis/Cars are implemented that by the moment someone sees your heli it will be under heavy fire.. And not like in the mod, where it was more like: "please don´t see me" First there must be more to for the players ingame so there is not that much of pvp/kos ongoing Then, hell yes.. modding..?!? How about stanalone epoch namalsk with vehicles,perma-contruction, banks and of course LESS loot. The only thing that bugs me about the current stateis, that there are close to no "help-i-am-gonna-diiie" tension moments. Just waaay too much ammo & too much food With less ammo, we wouldn´t have so much coastal-bambi-killing-rambo-kiddies +some groups would think twice before shooting/kos´ing unknowns Also i would love the dev´s to work on shivering beeing implemented so you would need to stay inside a building if outside for long in cold or make a fire, to not die. Now THAT would be survival i like. Vehicles/Helis: Yes More Loot ? .. Hell ,No!!111111 Just my 2 cents

    There is no such thing as "flat" shooting Gravity never forgets, and all lines are curves. Their angle, bulletwise, depending of course on velocity

    If one thing.. then in the gamefiles should be simple written parameters for the first shot +for the following ones, if Fullauto the first shot dependent on sway and dispersion (i.e. breathe/wind,etc) the following shots through recoil. \edit like a moa of 2-8 for first shot and higher for the following ones

    AKM .. suck ? so what do we have ? - 75 round mag - 7.62x39 mm calibre - PSO Scope with 4x magnification and stadiametrics (stadiametric rangefinder is only usefull depending on personal FOV-settings) .. imho, closerange the dispersion & recoil won´t matter with 75 rounds to fire and everythin far away... singleshot plus some aim if there is not a sniper hidden somewhere & watching you with his LR-scope IT WILL OWN ABOUT EVERYTHING

  20. I´am actually quite sad about the current nighttime-mechanics cause i loved playing nighttime back in the mod The reasons for taht were all mentioned before. For me as Dev, this would one of the asap-prioritys Cause current night in standalone is just .. yeah ..-_-

  23. - We know that the devs are working on physics. - We know they are working on vehicles. But. What i ask myself, since i love the Mod 2 years now,is THIS possible to realize with dayZ´s RV-engine ? I know, they will have plenty to do with Bullet/ragdoll/etc. I am just curious if it would be possible to integrate something without too much client/server-problems. Except for problems with licence,integration,etc. i imagine it must be amazing to ride through Chernarus like that. Rolling down Klen on a Bike and feeling like Evel Knievel -_- and crash into a Tree, flying through air with metalparts all around me.. .. -_- "You are unconscious"

    SA Server browser issues.

    everthing was fine for me but on exp what now is stable, i have these issues mouse not responding server loading slow etc. network wise everthing is fine, so hardware setup is okay
