they would be stupid to optimize the game right now. once they got more mechanics added the optimization would be right back to square one, and they would have to spend time doing it all over again. if you dont like how the game is quit playing till alpha is close to being over. basically what the guy above me said haha

i have a ww2 era mosin, and some original production ammo stashed away, none of these rounds even slightly resemble the ammunition for it. i also have a g-3(well a civilian version built to military specs), and the g-3 fires .308 nato, not .308 winchester, there is a difference between the two(the .308 winchester have roughly .0001 longer cases which is more than enough to make a difference). if you fire .308 winchester in a g-3 you will split the cases and if you have steel cased ammo you can screw up the firearm. well i dont have "original" production ammo, its ww2 production ammo sealed in a "sardine can"

yes seriously, and that is just one gas station, i see the other 5 gas stations getting refueled fairly often as well.

other than teh fact that i see gas stations get refueled at least once a week, gasoline does not have a long shelf life. sure there will be plenty of it around, but most of it will be useless.

maintenence wouldnt be difficult. there would be plenty of vehicles to scavange extra parts from. finding fuel would be the difficult part.

there should be a ton of vehicles. cars dont just dissapear because humans have been almost completely wiped out. vehicles would be everywhere clogging roads, bridges, etc. the only thing that should be rare as far as vehicles go is fuel, and fuel should be the most rare resource in the game.

buttless chaps and dog collars. maybe some black football pads too. cant think of any other bandit clothing, will have to watch mad max movies some more i guess.

the only thing that is sad about this is that you died instead of being left unconcious with broken legs so that "noob" could take your stuff then club you to death like you were a baby seal. either way you got what you deserved for being a scumbag server hopper.

well if you could read, you would know there is nothing to fix, the combat logging protection has been disabled until the servers can handle the extra strain it causes. combat logging doesnt matter anyhow. we are able to play the alpha to help test it so who gives a fuck about completely stupid shit like this. when the game actually leaves beta then you can bitch about these stupid non-issues and ask for a refund.

its pre alpha, the graphics are not going to be good. if that pic was from rocket he probably had his grahpics turned down for streaming purposes since he tends to do that.

i started playing epoch because vanilla dayz got boring real fast. its easy to find gear in vanilla dayz and the pvp gets boring pretty quickly, especially when you have nothing to fight for other than the lulz.
