no its not. a "300" round 5.56 can is able to hold more than 300 5.56 rounds. the amount listed is the standard amount that is packaged into the can from the factory, not how many the can is able to hold. while it is true that a "200" round 7.62 can will fit more 5.56 ammo, its not the same thing. a standard 200 round 7.62 ammo can will hold more than 200 7.62 rounds if you remove the packaging/stripper clips.

whats listed on the container is not how many the container can hold, its the standard amount packaged in them. they do not come as ammo cans full of loose rounds. this is a "420 round" military ammo can(ss109/m855 green tip) from the factory. If I remove the packaging/stripper clips and magazine loader I could probably fit at least twice that amount of ss109 rounds into the can. this is how it comes from the factory.

That's not how the ceramic plates work. They take a few bullets then need replaced. They dissapate the energy of the bullet by breaking. The ceramic plates are not even what actually stops the bullets, the kevlar does, the plates reduce the trauma to the wearer.

I wouldn't mind, since I play on 1pp servers, and it would be quite entertaining to see the great flood of etears inundate the forums.

buildings are not the only place to find food, and if you stay in the same place trying to loot the same town over and over you will never find anything, especially near the coast unless you server hop like a madman.

you should not have ignored the warnings about this game being in alpha, or where they clearly state "do not buy this game". the game is in alpha and is subject to change at any time.

I know how the hives work. just because a private server doesn't have a password on it does not make it a public server. if you don't like how they run their private hive, go play on another server, its as easy as that. there are plenty of other public/private servers out there to play on. if you want them to change how they run their servers to fit how you like private servers to run, then you should pay for their private hive for awhile.

well, seeing that they are private servers, there is no gearing up on them then playing with the rest of the public, as you put it. if these were public servers, you would have a point, but they are private servers, if you don't like how they run, don't play on them.

the reticle is not there for aiming weapons, its for people that have trouble picking things up.

my stash is whatever I can carry. I have not found any tents and have not been able to break into or steal peoples tents that I have found

the only way to stop ghosting is to stop allowing characters to transfer from server to server, so it will never be completely eliminated.

well those modern sniper rifles don't use atlas rail mounted bipods so your point is invalid. bipods are not generic one size fits all.

id like to see single point slings added.

I think they should open every building on the map. there is no point to having buildings that you cant enter unless those buildings are mostly destroyed.

that is how dean hall made it sound like it worked when he talked about having to go to other servers to get vehicle parts. until he says differently, ill believe what he said.

this is a bad idea, the only thing it really does in encourage server hopping. in the end it will create a handful of passworded public servers run by jobless neckbeards with huge hoards of loot from server hopping and none of the other servers will spawn anything but cans of beans and flashlights.
