I don't think you or Jason understand how this development works lol , they aren't introducing things finished and they shouldn't ( it would take much longer to pump out features that are 100% fixed ) and these features that aren't 100% fixed don't work for 100% of the people BUT I have NEVER gotten poisoned on burnt steak , so no it's not working 100% of the time which is why it will be fixed but it does work sometimes which is why we need to test it . Experimental is for testing get out if you don't understand it kids ! -

It's clearly not the end product dude , things are introduced and fixed along the way, but I personally can't wait til the more complex disease system comes in with all the infections and diseases said a while back , not to mention these little bugs will be worked out .. Giver' time me neh'. -
I've never found berries in this experimental update :( ... When the berries first appeared a couple months ago I found them all the time but now nothing over 15 tries :0!

That would be awesome , I'm all for having more advanced animations for stuff too , like actually seeing you strike the box with the match like you said , but also being able to see the match light up in flame and in first person you'd see your character touch the match to the fireplace ... Maybe even a "cup hand " motion to put over matches so the wind doesn't blow it out ( maybe this is going too far lol ) ... But I can feel the new stable update in my bones, it's definitely coming very soon (in my opinion within the next Wednesday )... -

Ya I don't think 90% is plausible , it's only been a few months after the apocalypse supposedly , and there's literally billions if not more canned goods on the earth now , so I think maybe if anything it should be reduced by ~ 25% and the animals need a HUGE boost in population cuz the animals can't get infected in dayz (according to what deans explanation of the dayz virus is , it makes people go mad) so there should be thousands of animals roaming around (maybe not that many but you get the picture ). -

To be fair , this was never suggested in such depth in the suggestions section and I really like the vines idea , waterfalls would be great to see as a visual too .. And 64 bit servers are internal testing now so I can see dx11 being up and running "soon" ... -

Hey guys have any of you experienced constant "wind" while trying to light a match for a fire ? For the past day that I've been playing (a total of like 4 hours on two different servers) and it keeps telling me the match went out because of the wid .... Even though I'm indoors ... And the thing is I went through 2 boxes , one of 97 and and the other of 9 2 matches , all of them said "it has gone out because of the wind ". I know it's not a complete system but I would like the Devs and community especially to recognize this "problem" , I just think their "wind" system is too simple and no matter where you are it will always blow out the flame if there is wind goin on (which I can never tell if it is ). Help a brother out community !! -

Don't focus on the typo man , it's just that lol I had shotgun shells or whatever you normally pick up . Fact of the matter is we won't know if it's too fast until rubberbanding gets fixed (in my opinion ) . I say this because I was killed multiple times while zig zagging , but I wasn't able to kill the guy at the atc tower who had a melee most likely because of rubber banding or lag , or maybe this is how the system works now : if your very close to the shooter you have a better chance but if you're far away they have more opportunity to take you down( because of the obvious, bigger zig zags are easier to predict and point at , smaller zig zags are quick and harder to keep up with ) . Again this is based off of my 4 experiences after this increased crouch speed : three of them I was the melee wielder and all three times I was shot down runnin at the shooter from about 10 feet away , and the fourth time I was the shooter but still got killed , either because of how close the guy was to me (even though I had a shotgun, so it should have "spread") or because he was rubberbanding / lagging at the time (he kind of skipped backwards before actually reaching me, it could have been rubberbanding or just plain lag ) .. So I say when this patch is pushed to stable I would like the crouch speed to stay fast just so we could test it under normal conditions instead of terrible laggy / rubbery conditions. -

I honesty haven't had many problems with this only one ... And as a melee weilding fresh spawn I can tell you it's still not that easy to knock out a fully geared guy if he knows how to avoid you , not to mention if he's got friends (seems like fists aren't knocking people out as easy anymore either ). But I do get where this is coming from , at the NE airfield I had a shotgun and shot two slugs down the entrance of the atc tower , I was at the bottom of the stairs and the melee weilding zig zagging wild man was at the door , he somehow dodged both shotgun blasts and proceeded to knock me unconcious lol , I think it's the rubberbanding, cuz it hasn't happened since and I've been shot down while zig zagging multiple times after that ... -

So like someone else said Uk hardcore is definitely running on a completely different hive than the rest of the hardcore experimental :(.. And besides that it seems that I'm also experiencing player wipes , trying to play with a friend I've gotten my character wiped two times now back to back on the same server ... Some experimental servers are killing characters :0 !! But on other news found my first animal(s)! I found them all in the north west if anyone is wondering ... -

Rubberbanding seems to be worse since Monday in my opinion . I don't know if it's just my bad luck but before Monday I hardly had any rubberbanding , now I constantly get stuck in the police stations because the rb is so bad ... And this is on US as well which should be better (unless ping doesn't really affect it at all) . But UK servers are probably the worst for me , or so they seem . -

I think I've seen some loot that respawned, the only reason I say this is because I was on a server in berezino , died by a glitch and ran back to berezino .. Before that I noticed the police station was cleared out completely in the jail cell , when I returned about an hour after my unfair death I noticed there was floating loot in the police station jail cell ... Is the loot respawning in the air or something ? -

I haven't had that problem much at all because that's a rubberband issue , if you know how to avoid rubberbanding this shouldn't affect you ., also if people would stop running away from zombies and just punch them to death this wouldn't even happen , yes it is annoying to have to kill zombies especially if they spawn on you right after killing one but this is a zombie game right? Just gotta kill the zombies before moving on or else the rubberband gets ya . But in my opinion me and my friend on my Internet connection never really rubberband for some reason ? I think our geometry is just fucking perfect . -

Does anyone have definitive proof of respawning loot on experimental servers ? I've heard from a bunch of people that it was supposed to be on exp , but me and a friend raided the new city novamitrodovsk (or whatever) svetlojarsk and cherna polyana in a weird triangle pattern over and over again and never saw new stuff :( maybe just bad luck as there were 40 people on , we just didn't run into many people at all so we assumed others weren't getting it ? -

A lot of people have suggested decaying corpses and I'm all for that idea .. I mean it makes perfect sense , bodies decay in real life why not in the game ? We all know this crappy 32 bit client won't be able to support decaying bodies til they disappear (turn into bones which after another ten minutes turns into dust or just vanishes, it's unrealistic in that sense but more realistic than bodies not decaying and suddenly disappearing .) but what about when the new renderer/64 bit comes in? I'm sure it could handle it.
