Thanks for the update and the list of blockers ... The basebuilding stuff sounds great , I really hope we will see .60 have some of this exciting stuff in it ! Can't wait for .60 :) : my optimistic guess is it will drop next Friday the 6th of May !

The zombie animation of it breaking the door down was excellent lol .. And also the survivor escaping the car- what a great idea :) . I just hope we see any of this content soon at all , seeing as many many other cool things have been shown and still have yet to come to fruition :(.

Meh , I'd rather not have another exact replica of the sporter / mosin / izh 18 (or anything that mixes them)... Let's get some variety now ! Enough with the civilian , if we're gonna get new guns let us have the bizon or the m-240 or something exciting !

This one was a freak accident ... It seems between the "home stretch" goals they are trying to meet with this new renderer patch , mixed with all the game conventions they were visiting in the past few weeks , my guess is they shoved it under the rug for a while and have now forgotten about it . It doesn't matter much to me seeing as there really is nothing in .59 that we all don't know about , but I have to say it is strange that hicks hasn't taken the time to link one or have someone put one together !

When people are that aggressive and flustered I know it's not just because they were getting attacked by bad guys... He was so nervous because he was killing anybody that went up there . Definite word of advice : the ones that demand that you keep your hands up even after searching you are the ones that kill you when they don't know what else to say ! I hate these types of encounters , in a real situation there would be no reason for him to shoot you, he could have at least used you as a body shield to escape the others that wanted him dead outside . I can't wait to see soft skills in and base building ; people will actually have a reason to see these crazy encounters to the end , and with each victim these idiots hold up they will realize they shouldbt just kill the person when they've run out of things to say , but rather interrogate them and see where their base is or to see what type of soft skills they have (maybe it will be of use to you at the moment). 0/10 will kos Russians when I see them now!

I believe the 60-90 day timer is only temporary until it's worked out better , but also it *should* refresh that timer every time it's rearranged so it must be a bug ...

Xbox one guy jumped the gun , Xbox one version is only starting to be worked on AFTER the success of the ps4 version is realized .. Prototype also means in Dev , not public access , so im thinking Q2 or Q3 of 2016 for a public access build of dayz for ps4 and then most likely the end of 2016 for a Xbox one public release (probably later though knowing dayz ).

Guys you must listen to the words spoken ... Prototype means IN DEV , not public access , so we will most likely have to wait months after q1 to see PUBLIC access to the console version ... Also , since there is so muchh misinformation in this one thread , the console prototype is for PS4 ONLY, it (Xbox one dayz) HAS NOT BEEN OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED BY THE DEVS AS BEING WORKED ON YET , all they said was that "if sales for the ps4 version of dayz is successful we will look at moving it to the Xbox one" , the Xbox one preview guy jumped the gun on that small confirmation alone and announced it far too early based on earlier estimates of the "console prototype" being released in quarter one . So to put it into a couple good bulletins: 1) Xbox one version was never confirmed by devs , just assumed that it would be created if the ps4 version was successful 2)" prototype " means the developers will be tweaking it in house and not out in the public alpha player base 3) Xbox one preview guy jumped the gun based on assumptions , although im sure Bohemia by Now has contacted Microsoft at least relaying the possibility of Dayz reaching Xbox preview if Dayz ps4 is a success.

I agree with screaming Zeds , the detection , population , and being able to take you out of cars (although I believe it should take a couple to pull you out , not just one) . But I cannot get behind them using weapons or screaming when hurt , after all they are mindless empty souls infected with a killer disease that only allows them to hunt for food , and not much else so I would like to see them stay mindless like that! Barricade breaking is definitely a must and is also planned , i just hope they hurry da fuq up Cuz we're already 4 months behind schedule ... I need me some game improvements , I'm getting sick of the Zeds being so few in number and so easy to defeat .

Awesome idea... Also , those military box trucks , why is there no loot in those ? You can get in the back and everything , they should be like a special swat type truck with chance to spawn rare military weapons and gear ... We need more dynamic stuff in the game , but I also want it to tie into the apocalypse , so let's see some quarantined zones with broken down ambulances and swat type trucks !

Yea you definitely have some settings off , my nights are Incredibly dark , and arguably where they should be (if people couldn't fiddle with gamma and brightness in game).

I don't think this would be cool , people would just meta game and always keep torches around ... Also there's really never been any zombies/infected afraid of fire in any movies except for the original Night of the living dead and its 1990 remake, so I feel like it would be foreign to a lot of people and make them think that these are some type of retarded cave men and not the badass infected we all know and love from 28 days later and such .

Nice video , I like your teams coordination , they aren't stumbling over each other yet they remain focused on the task at hand , getting into different positions to cover the ones your holding up . If there's any short video that would quickly sum up how to PROPERLY talk to others (regardless of the outcome) while keeping respect in tact , it would be this video ! Great job man , the video really made me feel as if this was a finished game and you guys were truly worried about survival , instead of getting a quick kill .

Well that was a great video - and you only killed one person ... Now that's a rare occasion for these dayz vids and I like it! But with those bright medical clothes you should try and stay away from using bushes as cover , I've noticed they stuck right through for people with low graphics (I always used the blue / red paramedic outfits , I learned over time everyone can see me in bushes lol). Great video black twin and I love your RPing style !

I see them on all normal settings with all the extra graphical settings on at max (like AA and such) and see them all the time , also when I turn everything up to very high it's the same .

Yes this is really an issue with manual transmission mechanic being in its infancy and for the buses case I believe it's because the hit box of the truck gets stuck in the earth (especially on small uneven hills / bumps).. I can tell you this though : the sedans and hatchbacks are POWERFUL , try looking for those and don't be discouraged by the other vehicle bugs (disappearing wheels, hitting invisible road blocks , and the worst of all the vehicle glitch that makes a perfect car unmovable for some reason). The vehicles will be fixed in due time , the v3s was good before but when manual transmission and the new vehicles came out , it put all of them into a somewhat broken state .. But somewhere along these iterations of .59 the hatchback and sedan cars got much more horsepower (and traction) so go for the cars !

Ya I would love some more stuff like this , it falls among the things like mini malls , basements , movie theaters , things that we don't NEED but would be soo awesome to have . I would take this puppy on a low pop server all the way to the end if it helps me carry back some tents or gear or what not ! Of course I would want to repair it first though !

I've only seen m4 60 round mags , not the m4 itself ... It's gotta be missing from this patch , also 1PP seems to spawn wayyyy less loot than 3PP servers (and not just because there are way more 3PP servers , I honestly think the 1PP server hives might just be configured for less loot somehow ).

Lots of KOS but with a good mix of other interactions (hold up mostly) but I have to say you're a quick shot . I like that standoff where you told the other guy to put his hands up as he was right in front of you , you both anted up but he just wasn't as accurate.. Good video man!
