That's actually a badass picture ... if it gives you any options try and upload the picture at the same resolution and the highest quality you can , it seems clear until you zoom in to see the detail . @VVarhead I haven't crashed at all in experimental for a few days now ... weird .

Great work over the 2k16 year devs ... now a pushy question : do you have a time frame of when we might see new animation system / player controller ? I can think of a dozen things that I want so bad that is tied in with that ....

I've played at least 20 times for 2 hour sessions with my friends since wolves have been added and we have never seen them in game , we mostly spawn and take the Sobors route to NW airfield and then back track throughout the northern highway ... I'm starting to get annoyed cuz everyone is saying they are constantly seeing and hearing wolves while me and my buddies have been making that our goal on exp and keep failing :/ .

I disagree , dayz devs have been putting in lots of cool add ins (most specifically aimed at survival) and I don't see why they couldn't have their art guys work on some new models of crafted items while they aren't doing anything , then the coders just have to slap it together before one of the big stable releases (like we normally find good stuff after a stable push that didn't exist in experimental ). I only say this because I don't want the devs to make a lackluster roster of craftable items and expect the modding scene to make it better , and also I say this because , like I said above, I know the devs are capable of adding such items in with ease . -

I've killed 5 kos kiddies in the past three experimentals, lucky for me I was always sitting still enjoying a fire or a nice night inside a house while smoking some herb IRL so I always heard them sneaking up next to the house ... the first encounter two snuck against the front and back base of the two story house I had a fire in (those ones without a first floor) I only had a pistol and bow but I took them by surprise by rushing outside as they got into position ... the last three were seperate encounters all of which started with me being knocked unconcious and left for dead or just being plain attacked by the dude for no reason with an axe, I was lucky to find and kill the first one and the last two I was fortunate enough to have a couple bullets ... definitely an exciting build but lots of undesireable graphics / Desync glitches but besides that it's been a great experimental . I can't wait to continue moving forward and maybe see our vehicles back (missing them to death).

I have to say .61 experimental has the best performance (server and client wise) of all past builds . Not only are the servers up almost all day which is a big thing for experimental, but the client gets great fps even on low end rigs . I know because my awesome computer broke two weeks and ago aand I've since then been playing on an I-3 intel onboard 5500 graphics laptop but yet I still get a solid 30-40 fps in cities-rural areas . if you haven't played dayz in a long time and are especially waiting for a little better and scarier survival experience : try .61 experimental , I believe it will impress you immersion wise (lots of scary moments with the wolves and dynamic zombie spawns , only issue is how slow zombies are and how they push you , also no vehicles right now but not for long).

Nope no "cheat/glitch" just sit next to a tree grab ten apples and move to the next (for superstitious luck). Nothing's broken with that regard , it just isn't finished yet , I imagine when it is we will see a limited amount of Apples on every tree and it will replenish in time just like all loot does .

It may have half the water content but they hardly ever energize , with five apples im fully energized and hydrated . It sucks to prioritize so much time with these chickens only to realize they are truly terrible , but it only takes me about 10 minutes to get full of survival gear (hand drill kit stone knife long wooden stick, and plenty other items needed) most likely because I'm not chasing down chickens anymore . Then I slowly find rope (or make one with rags) as it really isn't a huge priority right away for me to have a full backpack, so if I can make one right away that's cool and to stumble on one that's great , but it certainly isn't a top priority right away . When I fish I always have bone due to many dead bodies and chickens in every town , not to mention the abundant fishing hooks around everywhere . On another note i can't wait to see some more predators in like bears , the wolves are intense and definitely make waiting for a queue worth it :) . Now we just need our vehicles back !

Chickens are absolutely useless for sustenance as of right now ... eating 6 chicken breast is the equivalent of 2 apples and doing all the cooking and collecting of wood to prepare the chicken takes out just enough calories to make chicken utterly useless . Sure they're everywhere but they are complete trash compared to just picking an infinite amount of apples (which I hope will change as survival is far too easy with apples).

Awesome status report , in regards to making more visual representation of humanity's struggle to fight against day zero I suggest implementing things like : quarantined zones with lots of trapped zombies somewhere infirmary camps settled just outside of cities in fields or in woods (obviously abandoned and wrecked) gymnasiums of the school buildings could have cottages and sleeping bags along with loot spots to represent an emergency community shelter (could also have zombies spawn in here to represent people turning in the shelter instead of all zombies being outside). also please please please consider adding a pier with carnival rides on the coast , maybe even add a ferris wheel :)

The devs showed off one of the builds loaded into a namalsk map (instead of chernarus) about a year ago to show how easy it could be done for modding ... hopefully someone can find the status report it was in , there was snow and sniper towers everywhere it was awesome . Can't wait to check out new maps with the modding scene . edit : I think it was around one of the .55 status reports. So are wolves in now ? I've seen a couple vids of people finding them in the newest exp patch but me and a friend search for a couple hours last night on a first person from NE to NW half of the map and saw / heard nothing :( anyone have Wolfy encounters yet , and if so , where ??

So is everyone's character still resetting after server crash / restart ? Couldn't keep a character going the other day due to every 2-3 hours the northeast 0-1 server would crash and reset me and my groups characters !

People claim to have heard them out in the western part of the map ... I can't confirm as I've been spending most of my time on the eastern portion of the northern highway . The dayz Tv map was accurate the first dev build of .61 I believe but none of us played that and now it seems they have taken almost all (if not all) wolve spawns out of the map . Also zombie inventories now have nothing in them again .

The server us northeast 0-1 has only crashed twice within three hours of play but unfortunately everytime it crashes me and my friends characters are wiped :( anyone else experience this ?

Hopefully we see .61 exp before The end of October , I was hoping to kill wolves on Halloween :( . It's been a while since I've played good ol' experimental I can't even remember what I did in the last exp lol .

Lol youre just not happy with anything ... First of all you should probably research a bit before posting becuase you look uninformed. Secondly , wolves howl for various reasons although hunting isn't really one of them , it would be silly to include the wolf without the howl - it just makes for better gameplay. Lastly , this is not even the first iteration of the wolves to a public setting , it's simply a dev test in that video with the church , so I'm sure the sync of the wolves and the glitchyness will be improved as they get released to public branches and get worked on .

I found a hunting backpack in a hunting stand last night . Right on the north side of Cherno actually . Also I've found Winchester rounds all over , mostly near military I believe .

Oh boy this is a bad sign , brian hicks is biding for time , possibly another few weeks til we see this next build :( . .60 is breaking down in every way possible . Vehicles are absolutely broken in many many ways , Desync is worse than ever except for that one patch where you couldn't move without rubberbanding back , and to top it all off on public servers the temperature system and calorie system is completely out of sync so people are hyperthermic next to people who are stuffed and starving ... This has got to be one of the ugliest patches despite the beauty of it . I can't wait for .61 but I have a very bad feeling that all these issues are just going to stay . IMO we are far too close to beta for all this mess to be happening , I feel like some of these systems should have been worked out months ago :( . oh well I can do nothing but wait , good luck developers hopefully you finally resolve this half year experimental patch push .
