Yes this game can be extremely frustrating like we all know , but truly this game is taking gaming to a whole new level , we can no longer sit and fully "relax" so to speak while we play, you have to be on edge and you have to be playing by certain guidelines if you wanna live like moving through open areas only If necessary and to do it quickly , to always check behind you And around you now and again , when it comes to interactions with people it's best to just stay away from people you don't know but if you're willing to lose your gear go out on a limb to try and make a friend cuz after all the safest way to play is with friends , tactically . But over all realize this game allows you to do anything , but because of that it also forces you to play it a certain way if you want to live long and with plenty of fun gear :)

Well that's not fair c'mon guys, of course there will be problems and sometimes lots of them at once but it's just a part of the game process. And a game as in depth as dayz definitely will have many loose ends to tie up , just because those loose ends (network and server bugs/ game glitches) aren't fixed in the order you want them to doesnt mean you gotta be negative of the outcome of this game.. .. -
I love the ppsh , it's in dayz origins and I have to say its an awesome gun to spray at a crowd when you need to get away, whenever I did I would get at least a kill ;) maybe I'm just lucky but anyways I say yes to adding this gun among other unique ones . i dont see why some people want to have a small amount of guns or only common guns in a game as immerse as dayz , I mean everyone loves guns even Russians and they don't just collect the commons =}

Haha yes but please no biting live humans , I know somebody's gonna want that but I defly think that's too far haha . But yes on eating them after death imagine being a fearless leader running a town who eventually has to feed his people meat of humans he found lurking near the town lol soo intensely situational but awesome

Of course there would be objects on the ground and in plain sight ... I'm surprised noone has seen this in dayz aftermath the mod ... The searchable containers fridges cabinets and weapon lockers you can search in that mod keep you Searching a town for legit an hour instead of 15 mins , although it takes longer to search there are still items of use In plain sight ... This would be easy to implement at first as long as the script isn't too hard to write , which I'm sure it's not cuz like I said its in a mod called Dayz Aftermath so if they can do it I'm sure dean hall can but its probly not too high on his list ... But come on people how can anyone have any problem with this it's what a zombie apocalypse is all about ( constant looting / scavenging) there's no way it'd be as easy to loot a whole town in real life as it is in dayz standalone now .

I really like the contacts part . Just think of seeing and teaming with a friendly fresh spawn like yu , you both run through chemo and at the last building you raid , they encounter a group of bandits that are looking for blood . During the encounter one of the sides spot the other and gunfire then ensues ... The two friendlies get split up but both make it out of The chaos to find eachother again in the north and the best part would be ... They'd RECOGNIZE eachother and team up again instead of shooting on sight because of the Terror the bandits caused... Definitely a good start to conquering the issue of two on edge friendlies / heroes killing each other .. And the stash thing I do like but what happens when someone finds the stash as its disappearing it would look weird and unrealistic .. Maybe a mini earth quake could physically erase the stash from existance when the owner of said stash / anchor dies ? Haha kind of weird but I really would Like to see this idea implemented down to the tee with no repercussions.

The ideas definitely gotta be implemented I me a come on its pathetic how slow it takes to get down a ladder and going up is nerve racking cuz of the campers ... This idea could easily be implemented and for the people playing on third person servers they can't complain if they get killed by someone using the sidearm on a ladder because they too would be in third Person . However on the first person servers there woul be no issue at all like the others have stated .. So I see no problem with this at all . Also I would love to see the feature ( when cars are implemented into game)for all people other than the driver ( and maybe some time down the road the driver as well ) to be able to shoot out of windows of their cars

Yea adding markers seems a little weird seeing as steam friends can come and go quickly , I can imagine ,like steak and potatoes said , it being on maybe the easiest difficulty if they end up putting difficulties in again like the mod , but like the other guy said , clan patches / insignias are the best idea . Maybe some clothing could be spray painted or something so that you could create your own tags and you could Also do it to buildings , which could only come off if someone found a scrub brush or some shit haha... Maybe also down the line add customizable flags in case people wanna conquer cities by force old school style and place a clan flag wherever they have won a battle lawl

Does anyone know how or where to pick berries ? I've seen plenty of player with the damn burlap sack over their head but noone seems to know how to use it for berries haha. -

You can spray paint the buttstock and clips of your m4s ! Found some green spray paint too , so for those camo freaks Im pretty sure the whole moisin can now be painted green unless its just black for now -

Honestly the test servers are never much fun , you gotta wait at least ten mins of clicking on full servers to get in cuz they're so packed . And after the wait like everyone said , there's no loot anywhere ... EXCEPT at NW airfield ... I played about 6 hrs after the experimental servers went up an found the whole place to be full of loot ... The reason being is cuz I think people are afraid of walking all the way to the airfield at night,( which I think all the test servers are night for some reason) but if you are ballsy enough or lucky enough to get novy sobor spawn then you can have a ton of fun, but other than being lucky I say the experimental servers , IMo are kind of something ill wait to use again when they release something really monumental like barricades or cars :) -

But I truly do wish they figure a solution for the body hiding thing. I hope eventually they allow it as an option for private servers to hide bodies by having to drag them somewhere to hide them , that way all bodies would be gone with restart. More lag I suppose but if the person hosting the server wanted more realism it would be a great feature to have , I guess that's minor compared to other things they should work on though . Sorry for back to back post just had to comment on this as well -

So this hack saw ..... I'm assuming its not just to chop up zombies using a clunky animation .. Anyone else think well be able to cut limbs off eventually ? :) -
Ya the rusty part maybe not , but you never know if they toned the rust part down and just made it look a little dirty and broken to match the apocalypse setting then it's more believable less of an eyesore and still presents some challenge ... I hate when people say no to a good vehicle/ gun because its "not accurate or efficient " this game isn't about jumping into the best vehicle and gettin the best gun it's about working with what you have ... So ya bi planes are an awesome idea but I personally don't like the rust look .

Yea I'm Surprised this wasn't worked out for the mod I would love to survive summer to winter , winter to spring and then spring back to summer , and also would love to see animal hibernation / migration patterns when more animals / any animals are added

Ya I thought you were going to suggest being able to find pieces of weapons and then havin to build them so the good guns couldn't just be found they'd have to be built in my opinion that's what this game needs , that and searchable containers and cabinets Etc

Well some bud that has a genetic resistance to cold grows in Europe , and russia as well , called ruderalis which can happen to regular plants as well as ganj. Although this weed is low in thc it is high in a chemical that can be used as a very good painkiller . so you wouldn't get high off of the shit found in Russia , and im guessing chernarus would be an area of russia that grows it naturally (if it were real) considering theres no snow anywhere so my guess is we could realistically find weed if dean rocket would gracefully let us in the next update :) but although I love the toke in real life I say there are more important things to come first , but then again dean rocket does like working on small details it seems first .

This game I've learned isn't fair just like life. We unfortunately have to play its twisted game cuz dayzs realistic and I'm honestly glad for it , when Im not mad about all my loot from days of searching is lost to a twelve year old , I'm having a ton of fun because of how real the danger of exploring is ... Trust me if the game had weird balances like less accuracy and less health for iilling others ,people would really start to complain ( although i do like the idea of bandits going more and more insane with every kill and eventually seeing ghosts which block your vision).

I have to say everyone knows that we have to use tactics and constant communication , but fact of the matter is we need markers on people cuz of large groups and team speak . There's a lot of people out there with hardcore teamspeak groups that have absolute silence except for locations so no friends get shot, but on the other hand alot of people are more casual as their talkin about other things while they play , so when a shot is heard "casual" players first instinct is to get to cover then to talk to clan mates , so with visual cue o who your team mates are itd be much easier . Why don't the devs include customizable clothing so clans could make some armor/clothing that has clan emblems on them so people , at least up close could differentiate teammates and enemies?

I really like #2 , I've always said barricades , building and zombies being able to break said barricades , would make people play this game for years just that alone ... Cuz building is what people are still doing in epoch , unless your one who plays dayz vanilla in that case it's all about killing so yea I guess people can just kill on a game for years and years but c'mon we need more especially with a game as free and open as dayz is already, and if they added barricades early in the alpha stage people wouldn't lose any interest until the day it comes out for real . -
Dayz Standalone will not survive without epoch style base building

I always hated origins building system , I thought it was ugly and epochs building is too complicate.. If you want a mod with a GREAT building system ,play Dayz Aftermath.its an underrated mod but the building system allows you to make houses enter able and expand able(in stages ) and allows you to place walls and gates , in case you wanna make a free style base or just barricade an existing building . So people check out aftermath and just try and tell me you wouldn't want that in dayz standalone ... Bet ya can't haha . -
Yes I would love to see a nuclear power plant and maybe some highways and tunnels, definitely need some sewers running under chernarus:)

It's all about options , if they don't start putting some of the small stuff in as time goes on there will never be a large , never ending game if that makes sense? Think of if they never even consider stuff like clothing options , actions that seem so small but maybe make a difference in a big way , like if they never incorporated being able to restrain someone and then force feed them ... That's a small idea like hats that has no true purpose but for fun and we all know we love force feeding haha

Ya I could definitely live with all this , the only thing is sometimes I like to slip away from the clan for some solo play ... And if I did that I'd have to restart a character but honestly that's not a huge deal , it's a simple sacrifice to solve a much bigger problem of server hopping .
