And for the " intellegent " backstabbers , just make sure you never go first ahead of them and you never lose sight of the suspected ... then when they point their gun at you for any reason you shoot them in the throat :) of course this can backfire sometimes but hey it's all for the sake of maintaining civility and getting more excitement from controlling chaotic situations !

You do indeed look like pvp person lol ... But that means nothing I've banded up with guys with m4s and gas masks before (which we all know screams bandit) you just have to go out on a limb sometimes and trust people , hide behind a wall and tell them if they come in with their weapons up you'll shoot , but if they come in with weapons holstered you'll lower yours ... Trust me I try to play hero all the time , unfortunately about 50% of these situations where you give trust to someone you will get shot or killed , but after a handful of these scenarios you'll be better at trusting and evading when the strangers truly do have bad intentions:) really nice picture too how'd you get your character to pose like that ?? :0

they will be separated from public which makes them so great - no server hopping and most likely no scripters/ hackers ... That is the whole point of private hives , to be private or separate from public . And the "strict" rules are there so we don't see this in private hives : MAX loot spawn with as50 backpack and matches ,1,000,000 vehicles pvpvpvpvpvpvpfestz. I really like how they are now imposing stricter rules for what you can and cannot do as an admin of a private server cuz when they start adding all this extra stuff it starts to become more of a battle royale instead of surviving , just like what happened to the mods that branched off from vanilla dayz .

I wouldn't be so quick to say hackz... I had an issue like this about a week or so ago , I ended up finding out it was a zombie.. I posted it in the experimental or stable thread (can't remember which) but anyways I was in electro raiding the western most fire station and after i exit I hear two sounds of "punching" i spin around and there's no one there and the "punching" continues . I then run to the tree line and I'm now bleeding , I take my chances and log out as I was confused haha but before that I took a few swings into the air with my axe .. After I log back into the Same server a minute later I see a dead zombie body right in front of me ! So my theory is that sometimes very rarely zombies are invisible only to certain players (maybe to all I dunno nobody was with me ) .. I think we should add this to the bugtracker just in case it is a bad glitch and not just a hacker.

Sounds during login are stupid and unrealistic ... Server hoppers are easy to kill without the old "logging in reloading sounds" ...

Also doors should be able to be kicked in / down ,and we should be able to use crowbars to break locked or jammed doors open .

We need this option plain and simple lol .. But seriously why not add it in after 64 bit / new renderer is fully implemented ? I'm sure the severs could handle all the processes ..

Suggested many times yes ,but this thread let's us talk about using those "bad"berries (I think red) in the environment to good use .. We could crush the berries up with mortar and pestle and suck the liquid up with a syringe to apply to the dart , they'd be the most readily available poison around seeing as you can farm them off of bushes , although it would take 2-3 of these "bad berry darts" to knock out a full grown adult survivor..

I really like this idea as it spices gameplay up and adds realism, having to watch a friends back as they break into a house or a locked room would just add to the excitement especially if the town lit up with gunfire ... Being able to relock doors would be awesome and in my opinion simple locked doors should be the first form of barricading , along with locking windows that are wide enough to crawl through .

Yea I was quite disappointed when they took that out , everyone loved that look and now with the new outfits and helmets it would have been badass ... I would rock all black with a black military ballistics helmet and black vest :) but ya I think only the developers truly saw the "clipping" as an issue which is funny cuz there are new items that clips into clothing still that they haven't even noticed :P

I like the first two a lot ! But not the third , there's most likely no electricity left for people to be running TVs and Probably no one left to broadcast the radio casts ..

Wahhhh wahhh we've waited 7 months out of the 12 months expected to be in alpha , c'mon complainers stop complaining !! This game will be tits with all the features coming within the next Month which I'm going to guess (some aren't guesses ) is goin to include tents animal traps , more types of guns , maybe vehicles seeing as they were added to the .pbo files (hopefully it's not just a couple old arms files that surfaced after this last patch ) so let's just wait or you can go play stomping land and see how truly bad some early access alphas are ...

We definitely need tranquilizers, tazers AND beanbag guns :) and I think whenever you spawn your character should have a random resistance to tranquilizers (like some people do in real life) anywhere from 0% to 15% so some people would need like 2 tranq darts to go unconscious ... I only suggest this because I can see whole clans hoarding darts and guns and this would be a very annoying problem for fresh spawns so once in a while you would find out that your character is a little bit resistant being able to take 2-3 darts to go unconscious instead of one ( of course every time you die your new character would have a new random resistance , and some might not even be resistant , it'll be kinda like blood type every time you spawn you get a random resistance ) maybe !?

Although you are correct with many people wanting NOTHING but civilian weaponry , I think you're underestimating the huge group of people (myself included ) that wanted some dangerous weaponry like grenades , maybe not a launcher but definitely grenades and land mines (which would be incredibly rare) mixed with a huge majority of civilian like weapons .. I feel if we only had Civilian rifles (and the autos we have now m4/akm) people with m4s and Akms would be too overpowered , so in my opinion adding a grenade is an amazing option to take out camping m4 weilders..... And to also take out hordes of zombies when zombies get better and more plentiful .

Sleeping would work , just like sitting in this game is a risk. Sleeping would just be greater risk but while you're sleeping you'd regenerate blood faster .. I think many would take that risk including me for a quick boost in health (obviously quick is an overstatement , it would take like 30 mins or so to regenerate half Health from almost 0 , or whatever works ). And eventually I would love to see a lot of the couches and chairs "sitable" lol it just adds to immersion !

I'm hoping within tomorrow's maintenance or maybe next week on Wednesdays maintenance , it's been like 2 weeks or maybe more so I feel something in the air soon :) .

I like the idea ... I want radio stations that are huge and enter able and these vans , along with a better walkie talkie (one that can actually give and receive signals) ... It would just increase role playing and imagination so much :) .

I like this idea , id make jerky and moonshine out in the forest and wait for someone to come by or go blind trying.

Well I have to say I've never seen the experimental servers so bad . Literally at least 10 are shut down and have been for more than 3 days now. My guess is they are waiting for the update to fix the servers but it just keeps getting postponed most likely cuz they keep finding issues with fixing rubberbanding or something , so well just have to squeeze into one of the other 15 servers or so(I play hardcore) , although I do say that is kind of annoying seeing as we need to test this stuff ? But that being said we've already beaten .45 to death , were just waiting on the rubber to go away so we can move onto the next "testing" . P.s: experimental hardcore servers were packed the other night , forcing me to go to regular severs for the first time in months :0 . That's serious business lol !

For some reason I haven't found one on the eastern part of the map. In my experience on experimetal I've only found 3 animals : a chicken , a deer , and a cow all within a triangular like proximity between three towns near NW airfield ... Always found in a field for me , although naturally I thought first to look in the woods .. But it's so exciting seeing them I can't wait til they replace the ones that are placeholders !

Well unless it was a visual glitch , I saw a crossbow spawn right in front of me at the north east airfield ... It seemed to just "pop out of nowhere" but it could definitely have been a weird unknown visual glitch ... Can't wait til loot respawns efficiently .
