Maybe the fish filets can't be cooked using the stick method yet , that's all I can think of besides waiting longer in game to see if it ever goes burnt !

It would be fun , but it obviously would be done after 1.0 like others said , and it can't have anything cheesy in it but I would love if things like bad hurricanes and stuff would happen throughout the 90 days , also maybe these servers would all be time accelerated so that the 90 days actually equals like 15 -30 real days ... Would be awesome to see a more "realistic evolving world" like if we cut enough trees down certain plants that need shade would start to die , or if we kill all the animals at once in a given pasture they won't respawn in that area until the cycle is complete to simulate having to ration with what you have ...

I'm mostly excited for the new technology of the player controller , inventory , and renderer are all put in 100% , when that happens so many good things will come : limping system and our characters won't die from a 6 ft fall , inventory for vehicles and no more inventory Tetris, much smoother client to server response and hopefully better graphics and fps from dx11-12 ! For features I can't wait for : barricading/basebuilding., advanced vehicles , predator animals, aerial animals like birds (big ones for hunting, and flocks) underwater to get an overhaul and complete life added ... And finally hordes of zombies that attack windows and doors ... Also with the new player controller / skeleton being added I can't wait to see things like climbing through windows and jumping off of high heights with a proper fall animation ! Lots of great things to come , also on a holiday note I hope the developers pay more attention to Halloween this year and tie in some spooky Easter eggs into the game :) !

can anyone spot the error here? I wish experimental didnt go down, i was so ready to find a bandit with a vss or svd and shoot him down for justice and what not, i had a grey v3s truck and everyrthang... Oh and i got into it by crawling underneath it and looking up (i only play in first person so try that too) it worked all five times i tried, but when the doors left open the icon shows up like normal without having to lay down...

the server i was on (1PP UK0-05 i wanna say) just sent out a message saying "this server is stopping. you will be kicked" it definitely wasnt a regular server restart as I cant find any servers now =( It sucks cuz i just found a truck near severograd.

I got that message , I waited a clean five minutes and the message disappeared and I started playing !! Try disabling firewall and antivirus for a second to see if that what's "blocking" dayz.exe

Lol that is fucking awesome , that MJ song (first song played) plays at my work all the time !! Can't wait to find a radio and be one of those 80's muscleheads and put the radio over my shoulder and strut with it .

PleAse do inform yourself with the developmental roadmap , it explains what is going to be added and when , there is plenty on that list to have thousands of hours of fun ..hell I've already logged 1,200 some odd hours just interacting with people , I'm always friendy and only 25% of the time have trouble with others that don't want to be friends (and 75% of those bad encounters I survive) so for me player interaction and PVP is better in this game than any other pvp game , but don't forget that the pvp is not the only aspect of the game and again, if you look at the developmental timeline , there is plenty of exciting stuff planned for the near future that is getting or going to be worked on .

Can't wait to get on to play tonight ... I just fixed my guys leg up and he's now going through veresnik military base trying to find a gun as I have yet to find a gun in three days (about 3-4 hours a day) ! It's the first time I have ever gone that long without a gun and I'm proud of the dayz devs for finally making that a reality , but I know someday soon I will get lucky and a find a cache of firearms (or just one lol) .. Anyone find and use a barrel yet to create pesticide , dye clothes, or tan leather ? Also before the animals disappeared did anyone have a chance to see a fox ?

I like this idea , I will share my thoughts down here .... If we had massive mountains that would be pretty sweet , little cute mountain goats could be hopping all over the mountains ! But goats aside it would be a great place to make camp and would be one more thing "to do" in the zombie apocalypse (hike dangerous mountains like rocket :) )

I always thought it would be around .75 :0 they skip around a lot so who knows ...

Well for me , the mod was filled with bugs and glitches and there was nothing to do but search and horde vehicles with your clan while making more similar looking bases all over the place ... Standalone has fixed a lot of game content issues with the mod in the sense of survival , and when base building and barricading are in along with advanced Vehicles , it will be 100X better than what the mod was IMO .. Although I have to say I really enjoy playing dayz origins still , it came close to what standalone is achieving in the sense that survival wasn't easy .

Damn , devs got me good this time , just as I go into work experimental comes back up !! Fuck ! Lol I hope they will be up tonight around 10 est .. Somebody post pics under spoilers to show me the greatness (barrels, Svd, fox animal, anything good).

Hmm that's really rough , another cockblock by the dev team lol if they were our college mates we would never get pu**y ... They have to realize .55 is so borked not many people want to suffer with it , let alone play it for another few days waiting for a new experimental or push to stable .. But I know the devs love to trollolol people so hopefully they are planning on pushing out a new experimental today (or hopefully a .56 push to stable !) it's just Biran hicks ( =) ) is so vaguely cold with his twitter posts I never know If he's punishing us or not :( !

Are the servers down ? I've been hankering to play ever since I logged off last night ... My last character succumbed to hunger while attending a garden last night , I hope someone found my body face first in my patch of tomatoes lol :) .. Now I'm hydrated , energized , and have a broken leg in balota (ya some punk ass zombies broke me so now I have to crawl around like a bitch... ) if anyone is on first person experimental servers today and want to help me out I'll owe you a favor !

I think they "toned down" the aggressive pathfinding of the Zeds because they increased the numbers again (and increased spawn rates in larger cities) so regardless of why they do it , yes ultimoose is right, soon we will have the badass zombies in exp that are on stable ... Can't wait for the zombies to be the #1 reason for fear in this game (alongside humans , those two are #1 together at all times in an apocalypse IMO).

Has anyone tried equipping the ballistic helmet and gas mask again ? Apparently it's back !! Also has anyone seen a fox , the multipurpose barrel , the red 9 , also has anyone cooked fish (not sardines like someone posted above , that's a bummer that sardines still can't be cooked but someone lemme know about fish from lakes being cooked)?

People who survive . And it is proven that you waste energy faster when sprinting as opposed to jogging or walking , so it really is better to combine lots of walking with a little bit of sprinting here and there .
