To be fair firing large caliber guns is much more different then firing .22 which is what a lot of the guns in this game are. The 1911 is .45, there are 9's and 7.62 which have a signicant amount of recoil. Though at the sametime you would have more experience then a "soccer mom" who may have never even shot a bb gun before. I believe they should switch it to where your character progresses as he moves forward, and he gets better at shooting but not a whole lot. The accuracy by any means need to be improved and this can be swapped out with more weapon sway.

How could you be shooting a rifle without access to a firearm? Were you referring to a pellet gun/pellet rifle?

Our clan/group is recruiting. In this clan we have 3 rules. We expect nothing but true loyalty. We expect you to listen to your higher up when in the heat of either a firefight or when immediate decision is required. Otherwise, after you have become a full member you have a vote in our decisions that can be thought about and time isn't of essence your word matters. And more importantly don't build something unless instructed to or given permission to do so. We don't intend to be control freaks. I think you have the right idea friend. Just something I thought I would add. Those soccermoms and the average everyday people are the people who are gone pretty much within a few days within the apocalypse hitting the ground. I can't remember how long DayZ is made to take place afterward but lets say its a year. Most of those soccermoms and people who aren't trained to survive and handle a weapon at atleast and amatuer level are long gone.

I think this should be based on purely skill; by that I mean get statistics from the mosin and Lee-Enfield, and then use those. Fact is the mosin and Lee-Enfield were both extremely accurate guns, famous for being used in the second World War. Not trying to give a history lesson, but if this is being realistic, the game should be realistic about the accuracy as well in my opinion.

We focus on the attitude of our players and not so much the skill level. The skill level of a person can always be changed, the attitude not so much. Loyalty is a big thing to us and here you aren't just handed ranks and we hope for the best. You earn what you get and it is yours, and by that i mean the respect you get. At the same time we do not disrespect others even the new players or new recruits. You should take note, nothing is yours it's the groups.
