In the mod I used to kill zombies, the debug monitor coupled with scoreboard would show who has the most Zed kills on the server.. that was my endgame.. having the most and being/trying to stay top of the list :)

Couldn't agree more! RE2 was also one of the first games I played as a young lad with 'real scare value', (after RE1 of course) so were definitely on the same page :) I started out in the early mod days, when it was just DayZ, before mods of maps and mods of mods.. the thing wasn't even You-tubed on a huge scale like it is now.. I actually first heard about the mod on a torrent site of all places. I very much miss the initial lost, lonely and scared outta ya pants DayZ feelings I got back then, now its like spawn, die, respawn, die.. rinse repeat, it becomes more like a chore than an experience, that's usually when I take a break and try it again 3 months down the line. I doubt no matter what changes, now or in the future, I will ever get them initial feelings back, honestly.. I'm very sad about it :(

Wish I would have seen this thread earlier, before deciding to cool off in a pool.. damn. I lost some good stuff yesterday. My primary off my back.. along with the backup sidearm with clips and all my clothes that was hoping would stay dry in my damn drybag... WTF. A wise man once told me that "Experimental was not for strong user experiences".. So I reluctantly stuck to the 'stable' branch hoping them strong experiences would become a little more weak, thanks for nothing wise man.. thanks for nothing.

I mostly tell people to 'fuck off' as all they do is shoot at me, want to chop off my head or punch me to death. I basically spend a lot of time telling a guy to 'calm down', asking him 'wtf I done to deserve a battering fresh from the coast' all whilst running in circles trying to punch them out before they get me on the floor on that damn blackscreen.. then calling me a dick, and all manner of other nice names for absolutely nothing... they could have just had the torch if they bothered to ask! I aint said the word 'friendly' since the early mod days, when it was both commonplace to type in into global and say it to people you met. it means nothing anymore, well nothing but even more uncertainty towards ones demeanour.

Get a XBox 360 controller plugged in, driving/flying is way easier and better :)

Not a problem, I had to try a few things at first.. I didn't search either, it's too broad of a topic to find exactly what your looking for unless your willing to spend 30 minutes sifting through threads. So, I thought maybe it would be the popular vid link here [./youtube] code but alas.. that failed, so trial and error on a preview post with the supplied code options got me there in the end :) Nice vid btw.. pretty sad conclusion but at least you got 'some' redemption proir, it's always tricky up against a number of players, all out for blood... and discrepancies with the game itself never really help matters haha.
