Not zombies only, also bullets, once I was shot in the backpack I think and my jacket, my vest everything I had was gone. Well If I have canned food these can like absorb the bullet's energy, that can actually fucking save me! If I have protector cases in my backpack and I get shot, the bullet should not hit my body (or it should give less damage) This game gotta be realistic! Currently the ruined item status is more like some arcade game!

Wow you're such a cool guy, sitting at a rock, watching a guy with a broken leg, he fixes himself by making a splint and there we go, you take him down. You just spent his time, you could have killed him at the first place, but you did it later, so he could waste his time crawling there to get a splint. You're worthless, If I had to choose between killing you and a zombie I would choose you, atleast the zombie has an honor, unlike you! I was just ingame, was all good, but lemme check again. Because since the public hive will get reset tomorrow for the patch 0.49, I gave my stuff to some random guy at Svet and got killed by him afterwards. I'll head ingame and see what's going on.

When we're unconcious we get this black screen saying we are, Isn't this annoying? Ahah, you probably got me wrong right? I don't like the black screen. But I have an idea instead. People who were unconscious or were really close to death claim that they saw things, such as a light, or their lifes passing infront of their eyes like a film, wouldn't it be nice if there was like a tunnel and we can see light, the closer you get for example (if you're bleeding) you die, but like If you're not bleeding but only unconcious when you reach to the end of the tunnel you come back to the game. Or music maybe? I'm not suggesting a time indicator which will tell us for how long we will be unconcious. I want something worth to stare at when I'm unconcious, not some black screen which says so. Ah and, at the mod there were music, will there be any on the SA too?

It doesn't have to be a bunch of pictures, like 3-5. And you can't spare like 20mb for those pictures?

I am colour blind. It's not really much though, I can have hard time reading green text over yellow etc. But I know all of the colours correctly and I can know the difference between them. When I was new to the game, I had hard time understanding whether I was having a high blood regen or a low one, because I couldn't really "calibrate" my eye to the light green one and the dark green one. I did understand it through internet though, by comparing what I had on my screen and what I see on the internet. However, if a player who has really serious colour blind issues, they may not be able to understand the difference between yellow or green. My suggestion is to add a "color blind" support, so that users can understand their hunger / thirst / energized / hydrated statuses easily. Cheers!

Battlefield also has an option for that, I never really used it because I didn't have hard time playing it, but I guess there's a method they use.

I was in a house, this is the house I call "gypsy house" where there's a lot of loot in it, incase you still didn't get it, It's the house with wooden walls and blue paint at some parts of it. There's a kitchen at your right, has a red table and a lot of loot there, that house always has good loot, for example whenever I enter there I find rice etc. So I was in the house and out of nowhere a zombie spawned (I heard this noise but since my door is closed I didn't really mind. But then I started getting hit by the zombie, I looked around to see where he is, I look at the windows, he's not anywhere there. So I start moving at the room randomly and get to the inner side of the house hoping for the zombie to stop, I finally came to the corner and started to bandage myself, and then bam the zombie hit me again, I did understand at that point the zombie was surely glitched under the ground, I searched for him so I could maybe see his head popping out or something so I could take him down, he hit me again, I had a broken leg this time, so I couldn't really crawl out aswell as the zombie would probably follow to kill me, I decided to log. I ofcourse died, I was not expecting to die but I did. I thought the combat log thing worked for PVP situations. Anyway, my real question is, at some point, did I do something wrong? At the end I'm playing this game on alpha, I had a good gear too, I wanted to save it. so imo It's my right to log out (considering It's a glitch) The real real real question is though, If I, or anyone else around here, gets to experience this bug, what should we do? Consider having a broken leg and all of these happening in like 15 seconds, what are my options?

I spawned at Vybor, no shirt, no pants, no shoes, hydrated and energized, I guess the game is paying back me a "sorry" after the zombie glitch? :) Karma indeed, because the day before I lost my AKM due to a game glitch aswell, at the place I spawned I found an AKM. Karma is real!

I was at the fire station of Chernaya Polona, good geared, mosin, magnum, axe. A bambi popped out which had an axe, he was being chased by a zombie, he said "please help".then he holstered his axe away, so I agreed that he is friendly. I grabbed my axe and took the zombie down, then I said "all good" but I was bleeding because one of the zombies had hit me, so I started bandaging myself and this guy was like 2m away from me, as he saw I'm bandaging myself, he got his axe and started axing me, I died.

This was the response I was looking for, I don't want to be cursed because I've combat logged, I don't do this at all, I was just trying my chance to survive this way. Otherwise, If we combat log when we see a zombie or a person, where's the challenge of this game? I was fully geared, I had 2 weapons and an axe, If I really had the fair chance of getting him down, I would. Also I've trained myself on zombies for hours to know how they work, now I can avoid them hitting me If I'm going to a melee attack for them. I find killing the zombies quite fun and I don't leave even one alive (actually, they are never alive lol) at the town I loot (If I have the weapon to do) It doesn't matter if he's a threat to me or not, he might be standing at the middle of the field, might have not even noticed me, he's still my enemy, I'll run to kill him. So that was not the case, I was not trying to avoid the zombie there, I was trying to avoid the glitch. I'll certainly die with my honor if some zombie fairly breaks my leg and starts eating my flesh, I'm completely up for that. This is no arcade game, this game is supposed to be a serious game. Thanks for the heads up RagedDrew, even though I was not able to exit the building quickly, I was doing some inventory management at the same time, my reaction time was a little bit delaying because of that. If this does happen to me again I'll consider leaving the building and also anyother newbie has read this should consider the same.

Look though I do know how to die with honor. The first DayZ I was playing this game, I couldn't really die with honor, I would really get pissed off, but now I get along with it, I'm not angry anymore If I get killed by a glitch. Also there's going to be a hive reset anyway, my gear is going to go eventually. As in options, I want to break the game-breaking bug. Ofcourse I know dying with honor is the best option, but would everyone rather that? I'm looking for a way around for this, the forum has experts here, so they can give an idea.

We should have some hotkey to imitate the zombie walking. When you press it you will holster your weapon and walk slowly. Just like a zombie. This way snipers that are up the hills will think you are a zombie and won't shoot. If they look close they would see you are a human since you have a backpack but if you imitate the zombie walking there's a slight possibility that they will just miss ya.

So, I don't know if thread bumping is allowed, but any possibilities for this? Edit: Ugh looks like this was in the mod forum, I'll make a new topic at the SA section.

As we have can food, we should also come across with cat and dog food while looting. Since those are food too. But maybe a slight infection risk when eaten? Makes it more realistic. You are desperate enough to eat those because you will starve if you say "eww". :P About the bloodbag; on all bloddbags it writes "B" Everyone doesn't have the same bloodgroup. Actually B is the most rare one. Either remove that "B" or make the group written random.. Or maybe Everyone has a different bloodgroup so you need the one which fits ya. Or you'll die. Here's a scheme of blood types and who can give blood to what group. I would like to learn which one is the best to pickup? I used both, FN FAL looks powerful, but would it balance itself with STANAG common-to find ammo and FN FAL's uncommon ammo? Gotta choose one of these for a custom loadout I am offered. They give 5 mags, which one is better?

As a note, I have a job. You got no right to critisize me. I earn 10x more than what I pay for my server from my job. But why the hell am I supposed to fund the server from my pocket for a server that I am putting my effort from my time for scripting(Not minutes, hours). The server should run itself if I am putting my effort by scripting and debuging.At SA-MP servers the donation system is way different. You don't give people some extra stuff by logging to some sql base and edit some variables. You personally mod your script from scratch. So you put your time and effort to it. That's why people donate. You get very unique features -- which is limited with the scripter's creativity. But, I got the reason why you hate those P2W servers. Those who own them only edit some variables and ta-da there is bour donation gift. I agree. That's infact stealing. You did not deserve that money. For yourself or the server, no matter. But we need to exclude those sservers which have custom scripts from scratch and have big effort in it. Those are the servers that should survive. OT: Thanks for the feedback. I earned it, I didn't pay a single cent for that. They offered me one, can't turn it back :) You might hate those "pay-to win" servers, but servers need donations. I did not run a DayZ community, but I ran a SA-MP community and I am still running one, running a server financially is very hard. If you don't receive any donations, it's hard to keep a server alive. Hopefully my community receives enough donations to run the server. They are needed, can't complain about them. Also these were in the list, I elected the others, since they aren't that good, are they? CZ550 Scoped, Lee Enfield, M14, FN FAL, M4A1CCO or M16A2

You'll miss the hatchet. You need to master on it. Don't use the hatchet after long runs.

No secondary and yes, FN FAL attracts many zombies. Those poor bastards are like "wut I hear noizee brainssss brainzzzzz" and you find 10 zombies in a cofee shop. But that burst mode that FAL has, omg. It's like a tank. I got scared from myself at the first time I fired it at burst. Im like "holy shit" and the zombie was like "that escelated quickly"
