So I'm curious if the vests provide ballistic protection or not. Watched Wobo's video which says chest pieces provide protection but not much. Press vests provide protection, that's a tick. Anti-stab vest doesn't provide protection against ballistic. What about the Smersh, High cap and Assault vests? So does anyone know if these provide protection against ballistic or not?

Yeah, I already watched these, but I'm looking more for player experience. Also we have no clue if the smersh vest provides or not, since that video was captured before the smersh vest update.

I play 1pp time to time, usually when 3pp servers are full and are having network issues. I found an MP5 the other day, I've put it to the novo tower along with a note. Usually the people I encounter at 1pp are Russians, most of the time I get Kos'd, But I am thinking of having two proper characters at both branches at some point :P

Yes they do, I found 3. Grundle had one of them. Actually the mag I found was in an AKS74U but it was badly damaged. So someone probably put it there. I found them all 3 on the same server but they were bugged loot spawns. Not to add I found them after searching carefully the same base again. The items sometimes are under other items so are hard to find. The mags stay under my posession till I find more. If I get to find more I will trade them here. But I must say the mag will be easier to find when they fix the bugged loot spawns. Thats my opinion.

Couple of servers around are like this. Ehehe, I have seen two servers which spawn stashes of guns and loot just like the Tower over there. The only difference is they are at a military base, oh boy, AKs after AKs, boots, ammo everywhere, vests everywhere. The priso has enough loot to get 10 fresh spawns fully geared.

This board pretty much says it. It's after internet came to Chernarus and considering at a poor country like Chernarus, I'll say It's like 2002 or more. That's minimum. I'll say 2012.

There is no "friendly server" actually It's not allowed to write "KoS / friendly only / friendly server / Kill = Kick / PVP only / PVE only" to the server hostnames. But people write it, so actually anyone is allowed to play the game as they want, you can be friendly on a friendly server or you can KoS on the same server. The truth: Even though there is absolutely no right for a server owner to enforce rules on their own server unless private hive, If you join a server which writes "KoS / PVP" people there are likely to be unfriendly, why though? Because It's human behaviour. You get manipulated by those who write those. At the other hand, people at what so called "friendly servers" are also just logging in to kill those friendly players, because those guys walk around with no weapons at their hand, easy shot to take. So it doesn't really depend on the people you play, because a bandit or KoS guy can just hop in to the same server as you are, even if there are 19 players which are friendly, that last guy will not be, which eliminates the fact that the server is "friendly."

I have the same problem here, after 0.50 my sight is shorter.
