Hello, I know a lot about persistence, I'll try to enlighten you about it with my best. At this current build persistence works fine, first of all, what is persistence? Persistence is some (weird) and sort of magical thing which somehow doesn't let items properly respawn, atleast at this build. Anyway, this part I'll write down is the part I am not sure about, if its completely true or not: The main idea of a persistent enabled server is to keep dropped / spawned items on the floor even after a restart. At the current stage of the game, persistent servers mostly will not spawn loot. However, at the current build, there are some areas which persistent servers have loot spawning enabled, specific parts of the map will ALWAYS have loot. And most important after a server restart the loot will not get deleted, but rather stack up in large amounts, so you get more loot than you can ever see. This is why at some servers you can come across with a huge amount of stacked loot, these servers are also called "christmas loot" or "lootgasm servers" I am pretty sure of this part though: At the other hand, the real intention of the persistence enabled servers is to use them as storage servers, when loot is dropped it should stay there. The only place tents will stay after getting pitched is on persistent servers. At other servers, after a server restart is fired, It will not stay there. At the other hand, persistent servers these items will stay on the floor aswell: - Tents - Backpacks with items inside, all items inside the backpack now stays inside the backpack, even after a server restart, the backpack will still be there. - Weapons (firearms), all firearms stay on the floor with all of their attachments. - Mags and clips will also stay on the floor. - Protector cases will stay on the floor with all of their items inside. - Ammo boxes stay on the floor aswell. These items don't stay on the floor: - All clothing (glasses, helmets, shirts, pants, vests, balaclava, glasses, etc etc) - Melee weapons (as far as I tested only with the firefighter axe though) - All other items (rags, sewing kits, grenades, anything, rounds alone will not stay aswell, they must be in clips / magazines) Note: Persistence enabled servers are getting wiped every Wednesday, causing all items on the floor to be deleted.

Never tried, but I can say 5-6 shots for the magnum Speaking off the makarov, that is 8 bullets am I right? The makarov is a really weak pistol, don't expect much from it. I presume the makarov would need atleast 8 shots, I can try though. To the head I'll say 2 if the player doesn't have any head protection (or a beret or something like that) first shot will put unconscious, the second would kill. Also the FNX varies, sometimes its 5-6 shots aswell, sometimes its insane numbers, such as 12 or 13.

Hello, When I read this thread first, I was like, "M4 is the best? What? The AKM is much more better." Then I got my hands in the M4... Oh god... The M4 is better indeed, I also want to add a few things to compare the AKM and the M4. I've done some research about the M4 and I can see the NATO rounds are better. The M4 is the secret weapon of America, It has a good aim sight and is very easy to use. It is easily foldable and the parts are easily attached. The bullets are not fatal, unless you're sprayed or shot in the head. The M4 bullets are piercing, not destructive like the AK bullets. Let's say you're at a war, one side has 7.62x39mm and the other side has 5.56mm rounds. Yes, the 7.62 side will be easily hunting enemies and killing them. However, meanwhile if the "peaceful" NATO rounds get inside you, It won't make you die, it will make you suffer. The injured will be more than the casualties, the sanitaries will be stuck, your teammate seeing you in blood, screaming for mercy, all his morale will be lost. They will not be only winning the physical war but the psychological war aswell. Another thing with the M4 is the if you empty a full magazine to a 100m target, all of the bullets will hit one specific area, however with the 7.62x39mm rounds, you would be finding yourself shooting the sun halfway the magazine.

There are not pistol suppressors in the game anymore. Anyway, if you ask me, FNX is good, then the magnum. The FNX is hard to find, hard to find magazines, hard to find attachments etc. etc. Magnum is easy to find, easy to find ammo etc. etc. The FNX takes 13-14 shots to kill someone, the magazine is 15 rounds. I've done testing with it, my target had: - Full gorka - Energized, hydrated, full blood and health - Smersh vest Target died after 13 shots in the chest.

Does anyone know the name of Dean Hall In-Game?
yazar8 replied to EHNR's topic in General Discussion
The real question is, when Dean is playing, what does he do? Just imagine for a second, he spawns lots of gear for himself and starts KoS'ing at Berezino, just like anyother game creator should! I guess he never plays stable, maybe only experimental and that even then not on the public experimental servers. -
There is one coming soon.

Nice.

I actually saw a zombie chasing a deer once, I decided to kill the zombie, then this deer died going it's way down the hill, I was too late. Rest in peace Vereshnik deer, you are not forgotten.

Ow :( Sorry, mate. Don't forget, we all are somebody, haha. Everyone here is important. Here's a quote from Mevlana to you. Don't forget pearls are never exhibited for the pigs. The only person who understands from jewellery is a moneychanger, But for a blind man, does the difference between diamond and glass matter? So If a blind man is looking at you, never think you're made from glass. Yeah right, blind people can't look, but that's the deep meaning of it. :P

Umm, didn't get your question. I was just curious if he shoots back when someone's shooting him. He doesn't, I got my answer.
-
Thanks.
-
I would be surprised if it was not!

Got rekt?! Eugen, can you tell us where will we be able to find the V3S? Where will they spawn at and how common on experimental (per server wise)?
-
Time to have a fun read.
-
Nice methods, maybe I'll try these in the future.
-
What if you're under heavy fire?
-
But, you got 29 corpses in real, right? I also really came with that intention when I started the game but when you have to do it, you do it. How did you manage to avoid killing someone?
-
All you need is an M4 there.

After many hours of playing I've realized one thing....

IDGAF, you say. -
Correct, giving smersh vests for a hug in return, that's all.
