Yes. Yes. My advice is getting a gas canister and filling it with water then purifying it. Then you have an almost infinite water source. However, I've not gotten sick from drinking pond water yet when I'm fully energized, hydrated and healthy. That being directly drinking from the pond, though but I don't think that would matter.

I figured out that I could have a barrel on my hands and eat something, my character drops the barrel and then while it's on the floor I can open the lid and when it's on my hands again I can add items to it. Now I need to drink and the barrel is stuck on my hands. Tried everything, emptying, pressing G etc. but it doesn't work. I can't drink water, can't eat. Can't switch to my gun to get rid of it. I am dying from dehydration. I'm gonna try getting that sorted out with a friend, but does anyone have any idea or have any of you experienced such thing before? I don't want to die since I got O- blood. I know it's a funny situation and I swear I was going to report the bug on feedback tracker later.

Poking holes to the barrel helped me get rid of it. Thanks everyone for their help though!

TL;DR at bottom. Yesterday, I was running around the woods to find camps as usual and I stumbled across to a medium-sized camp. But before approaching to the camp as I always do, I was carrying a barrel with me but I had this strange feeling that someone was in there so I left a few valuables I had on me to the barrel and started approaching to the camp slowly. Also, before going there I ate a few things and slowly approached to the camp as silent as I can be. Eating food beforehand also allowed me to catch my breath back. Anyway, I approached to the camp and got into one of the trees next to the camp and I heard footsteps. Aha, that weird feeling I had in me wasn't just nonsense! There was indeed a player there! I have looted over 50 camps so far and this was the first time I ran into someone at their own camp and this was also the first time I approached to the camp by catching my breathe. By the way, it is a night time server. Atleast 3 military tents were pitched as I could see, they all had their doors and windows shut. So I opened one of the windows and tried to see where this guy was, he entered the tent. He was standing up and he had beige cargo pants, I slowly backed up a bit and understood that he had no suspicion that I was there. Later on, he left the tent and I was hearing footsteps behind me, I started walking towards him and saw he was in another tent. I was thinking of what I should do, If I tried getting away from there was a great possibility that he would hear me and shoot me. So I decided to wait, I didn't want to kill him judging on the size of his camp he could not be alone. So I waited a bit more. I wanted to loot their camp, I didn't want to kill them or anything like that. He got out of the tents and started digging, I could see his legs only (I was trying to see him through the gap between the branches and the ground) he entered a few more tents and then came back. He had black cargopants now. That was weird, he probably changed his clothes? Anyway, after a couple of minutes I understood that they were 2 guys, but I was 100% sure the black cargopants guy joined later, which I did confirm later on by looking at gametracker.com These guys were farming and I had a lot of chances to kill them but I really didn't want to. I've been looting many camps so far on this patch but I'm not a killing kind of guy so I let them be. My friends urged me to play music, or say hi or even play scary sounds. I thought of playing a helicopter sound. But I was too afraid that I would get killed. I didn't have much on me apart from a teddy bear that I really don't want to lose - he is like my companion. I wish I left him the barrel as well so I could try these scary stuff. But I couldn't, so I waited there for 20 minutes I watched them shoot eachother, break their legs, punch eachother and then use splints etc. etc. The crops had grown, they ate them and left. When they left I left as well because they were still in the server. When they left the server, I came back to their camp and took their SVD and ran away. What would you do if you were at my place? Also how would you react if someone popped up and said "hi" while you were at your camp? TL;DR Ran into two dudes in their own camp, they didn't know I was there. I watched them for 20 minutes. If you were me, what would you do and what would you do if someone caught you in your camp and said "hi" or played music, scary sounds etc.?

Actually, when they left I left the server and ran to my own camp, then I checked if they left the server and they had left it, so I hopped back in and ran to their camp and took their stuff later on. But yeah, still kind of a coward move I understand that. But I didn't want them to see me looting their camp :p

I was in the same situation in Tisy, I had only 1 cr mag and that was it, It ofcourse couldn't kill the whole pack so I decided to use my stick (yeah, stick) and it took a while but in the end it worked, I waited for them to come near me as I waited at the stairs of the tower, they couldn't climb there.

We would need like 600 player servers. It's impossible anyway, the game engine can't support more than that current map, it also can't support huge rivers / waterfronts.

Well the regular spawn points are also bugged CLE is bugged as a whole. Some tents have like 5 SKS' inside them etc.

The last time I checked the helis were working pretty fine but If there's a reason then it's fine. But what was the problem with them?

let me complete that sentence for ya, shall I? "Crash sites are there, with basically junk spawning apart from a few useful and limited items, no weapons at all but hey, you get to have lots of smoke grenades." (I got a collection of all color variants in pristine condition thanks to that)

Thanks Mookie. The first few hours of this patch I constantly died. I couldn't handle the zombies and I gave up. Then I started it again and with the help of Red_Ensign's public camp I just ran like a madman to his camp just ate a few apples and made it there. Then I looted the military zones and I eventually started fighting the zombies properly. The zombies are broken right now, their hitbox is broken so the only way fighting them is using a stick because it keeps distance between you and the zombie. I ran back and forth, looted stuff and again made a small stash kind of thing. But the game wasn't as fun as it used to be. The trading post isn't active as it used to be now and not only that but the helis aren't worth to look for unless you need a specific item like the Smersh vest which I've found twice anyway. There are no vehicles, helicopters don't spawn guns, everyone is at Tisy loot cycling and server hopping. I need an SVD but I can't go and find it because I simply hate going all the way upto Tisy just to find an SVD. The SVD's place is the Russian Helicopters! Not a stupid static base (I love the base but why is that the only place an SVD spawns?) that is visited by 50 different people everyday. When all these come together and I didn't want to look for the other items I've been looking for I decided to raid a few camps so I started running from the most south all the way upto the North treeline (Zeleno forest) and found 3 camps. But these camps all had junk in it. "Junk" because there's not a single item I'd be like "ooh yes I need this." Neverthless, they were all around Tisy. Am I suprised? No, not at all. At the other patches I would usually find lots of camps around the Myshkino Tents and Lopatino etc. But this time they were all around Tisy. Why? Because that's the only place you'll find some good gear. It was just disappointing. So I got back to my stash with no hope. What am I supposed to do? Go to Tisy and loot cycle to find an SVD? I don't want to do that. I don't want to get killed by a server hopper that will magically appear behind me and kill me. I don't want to play this game in such "unrealistic" paranoia. I want to get paranoid when I'm about to loot a heli and I can't because I'm too afraid that there's a guy watching the heli. (Playing private shards isn't a solution for me because I like to play on 2-3 different servers at once) About the wolves. God no. Requires 4 shots to kill and you have the risk of giving your location away if you don't have surpressed weapon. Even if you do the surpressor gets worn out quickly. But I've learned how to deal with those wolves, just hide in a building and they'll eventually go away.
