Its not hard to find a weapon... i always find one within the first 5-10 minutes of spawning... and I've only been killed by another player once and thats because he killed me while i as loading. Most the people i run into are friendlies. Maybe you are just being an idiot running around in the open. You have to sneak around, avoiding both players and zombies and only approaching other players if you need to or you have the upper hand. The game isn't too hard if you play smart.

@VictorM, It seriously sounds like you are just spouting out nonsense now. They are trying new things, just because they did something you didnt like doesnt mean they are "losing focus". Rocket is experimenting and he'll keep doing that till he gets what he envisioned.

Everyone i see is friendly and im friendly back. i had my first non friendly experience today but i survived so its all good. But ive been able to work with everyone else or just walk past each other without problems.

While i was in the grocery store searching for supplies, mainly a map and or hunting knife i saw some idiot running around shooting bullets outside the store and running from around 20 + zeds put me on edge. but then things quieted down and i was having a blast taking my time looting and finding awesome stuff.. not a map or knife though. While i was sitting there going through gear i hear about 2 or 3 shots fire through the grocery store window freakin me out so i turn around to try and bolt when i see A FEMALE AXE MURDERER! i quickly type "friend?" and she doesnt reply and keeps approaching, so i juke her and run out the back door and turn around spraying my entire clip into the doorway then turned around and ran for my life. about 5 seconds later i get a murder. i didnt even know i killed anyone but that was my first survivor kill after about a week. I just wanted thank whoever fired those shots at us. whether you were trying to save me or not, you still saved my ass and my equipment :D

Does this only apply to tents? My clan members are worried about their vehicles.

I wonder if the equipment problem might have to do with standing dead bodies. like if someone loots them and puts equipment on them then it changes on the database for the player that disconnected. Sorry i tried to explain as best as i could.

i encountered somthing weird. I was in Cherno or Elektro. pretty sure it was cherno. i was searching the northern part of the city for supplies in the apartments and i searched about 4 buildings. i didnt encounter a single zombie. i looked around and didnt see any on the streets or anywhere and before that i was traveling through small villages and gas stations, the entire time only seeing one zombie in the gas station after about 2 other places. im not complaining just thought you should know :P

I agree that the zombies LOS is a bit out of whack, I've got their attention through walls and all sorts of weird ways and i consider myself the careful type. I went all through Cherno prone and sneaky like taking out only the zombies i needed to. before this hotfix and now i can barely go prone through a small village. The spawning with less equipment is nice, i think a food and drink would be nice though but not the water bottle. i found one today.. two actually... and it just made my day :D I even found a makarov and was excited about that. So i like the equipment we spawn with now, we dont take so much for granted anymore and survival is what it should be, not so many reckless people that will spawn with half their equipment again when they respawn. on another note i noticed some bugs. the joining a server and missing my equipment, AK, Flashlight food etc.. and having it replaced with a makarov. the stuff in my bag was still there though. another bug was while i had acquired a Hatchet in the 1.7.1.2 hotfix it was working great and i loved it. in 1.7.1.4 i couldn't swing it anymore :/ tried to ninja hack a zombie and it didn't swing. so i ran away and tried it later it still didn't work.
