Hey wondering if anyone is having the same problem as me? I went to play DayZ this morning and I couldn't because when ever I clicked on my favourite severs or any others they would ping straight to 1000 and go red. So then I went into install/update (this is on DayZCommander) and seen that DayZ was out of date (DAYZ:1.7.7.1(Out Of Date) so then I click on install and try to install the latest (1.8 latest ) and I get the same F*cking Red triangle saying: System.Net.Sockets.SocketException (0x80004005): No such host is known at System.Net.Dns.GetAddrInfo(String name) at System.Net.Dns.InternalGetHostByName(String hostname, Boolean includelPv6) at System.Net.Dns.GetHostAddresses(String hostNameOrAddress) at Dotjosh.DayZCommander.App.Core.ModVersionInstaller.InstallSync(ModVersion newVersion, ModVersionFile modVersionFile) So if anyone knows how to fix this it would be much appreciated!:)

I get the same thing! even when I try to download the latest version of DayZ

Just wondering if someone can tell me whether or not I'm downloading DayZ Epoch correctly? Aight so I want to download DayZ Epoch, I have been playing DayZ through DayZ Commander and when I go to Install/Update, go down to Epoch click install it starts downloading, it gets to about 50 to 55% downloaded and then comes up with a little red triangle and stops downloading, I then go and click install again and it starts at about 33% until it hits 50 to 55% and does the triangle again, this also happens on Origins, so I'm not sure if it my internet or something else??

Okay so I got ArmaII/OA and the OA beta downloaded and then downloaded DayZ Commander and clicked on the top Install/Update but what do I click next? It says top left ARMA II: 103718 (out of date) and then to the right it says (stable) Update or something like that and when I clicked update it says (Unable to get version from server) should I be worried? Should I run the Arma II OA Beta? And what DayZ update there's heaps? the top one says DAYZ: (not found) then to the right in a box (1.7.7.1) (latest) install?

I'm wondering if anyone can help???? Alright, so I bought off of steam Arma II and Arma II OA/the beta as well (combined Operations), and I installed them fully and ran them both once and then downloaded the DayZ mod off of steam and installed that and couldn't get into a DayZ server it would show them but kept giving me an error every time I went to join, so I removed everything and uninstalled as well (currently reinstalling Arma II/OA), and then read about the DayZ mod on the DayZ website but the (alpha test) button wouldn't download anything when I clicked on it just loaded and nothing else stayed on the same page. So then I read about Dayz Commander but it has 3 to 4 different download links on the website and when I click on them I either get something else downloaded ( Not the DayZ commander App) or an admin error! (im running windows 8 and have full admin use). So what im asking for is if anyone can give me a run down on how to install everything correctly so I don't get errors or other things downloaded? Thanks!
