    I mean a better chance for finding high yield military drops since the area will be much harder and you will have to weigh risk vs reward, anything found down there can still be found elsewhere just at a lower chance. Most will probably will not survive unless organised End game items being things like NVG, Good condition military weapons/plate-carriers/clothing, experimental vaccines(makes you temporarily immune to some illnesses), etc. Edited wording in main post to clear that up

    Instead of an ID card it could be your boarding pass to cherno, would make more sense that the date would be how long that character has been alive then a DOB on an ID card

    Finding a body of a dead soldier or the back of a wrecked military vehicle I think should possibly yield a weapon, just make them badly damaged and probably not last long

    What do we really want as far as Day/Night?

    At night you should be able to see at least 20 meters around you minimum with no moon. Dark interiors should let you see in at least a 5 meter radius to simulate the sense of touch since we can't feel our surrounding environment. I would like to see a condensed day/night cycle so I can experience both day an night when I play since I usually play at the same time every day. Gamma/Brightness settings should be controlled when creating your profile, to change them you would have to reset your profile killing your character

    Food, water, dry/warm clothing, first aid and No weapons would be my vote. I like having stuff that changes the environment a little each time you play, keeps the map fresh. I'd like to see civilian/military camp sites, lootable bodies and wrecks that have random location spawns also *Edit* to keep random location special spawns from being farmed the should have them not respawn gear, one its gone it stays empty till reset removes and repopulates the map

    What do we really want as far as Character Progression?

    Progression gives value to life instead of just equipment carried and has rewards for lengthy survival instead of lengthy playtime and running back to your body. Could even implement steam survival based achievments. It doesn't add anything to the game but gives personal goals for bragging rights

    Defibrillators and their uselessness

    AED will only allow give a "shock advised" and allow for a shock if patient is in V-fib, meaning their heart beat is iregular, not flatlined. Hospital grade D-Fib doesn't have the same restrictions and can be dialed up and down in charge possibly being able to restart a flat lined code. Like stated though it will not remove a 12 slug from someone's heart or a 7.62 wound to their skull. If they had both dead and brain dead states they could have one state that could allow for the D-Fib to revive from and the other to not. Both the patient nor the medic would know how dead they were without attempting to revive them or diagnosing to see how extreme the injuries are("this man has a fatal gunshot wound to the head" would be an obvious brain dead).

    I like the current system they have where you can pickup a second firearm into your hands when you have one slung on your back. Just can be hard to manage sometimes, system needs to be a bit more intuitive, that's why I say drop only for 2 handed actions, give notices when dropped, dont auto-hide on hotbar and add in the slings so we can have one on the shoulder and chest if so chosen by the player. If when you dropped the weapon on the ground to perform the action you picked it back up again automatically after that would be even better. And the chance to fall off would just be to give proper rail mounted flashlights the edge

    Wouldn't the simple solution be to detect 3rd party voip and cause it to force in game direct chat?(or cause direct to be always open?) Then to reward using in game radios would be reducing direct chat radius while using the radio. Megaphones to increase forward direct chat radius would be nice also. Don't kill the ability to use 3rd party software just tie it in
  17. seems as though if you have one shotgun on your back and pick up a second into your hands you can reload the rounds from the one on your back into the other, you are also able to unload the rounds and recombine them to duplicate and I think it crashes the server. I tried to report on bug tracker but it wont let me sign in. Edit - NVM, reported

    Semi auto is always available on a firearm(aside from LMG's or other heavy suppression weapons) and the most used selection since full auto is only good for suppression for a short time and causes a lot of heat on the barrel. Armalite's are Semi(civi/Marksman), Semi/3-shot(M16A2, A4, M4), Semi/full(M4A1, M16A3). SMG's like mp5's will allow for semi/3-shot/full. AK's(unless civi model) have a semi/full selector switch also.

    Agreed. I don't want it to be over run with Military grade weapons, and at least make it so going into areas with high end gear would be very dangerous and would require you to need high end civi gear or at least a few friends and some decent gear before you can even attempt to enter military areas.

    These are more weapon attachments then crafted items: Input (SMG/Military Shotgun/Carbine/LMG + 3-point sling) Output (Weapon will be slung on chest when emptying hands) Tools (none) FailChance 0 Enchantments = ActionType = Input (Shotgun/Carbine/Hunting rifle/Highpower Rifle/LMG + Shoulder sling) Output (Weapon will be slung over shoulder when emptying hands) Tools (none) FailChance 0 Enchantments = ActionType = Input (Handgun + Holster) Output (Weapon will be holstered to your thigh when emptying hands) Tools (none) FailChance 0 Enchantments = ActionType = Without these you will have to keep your weapon in your hands, drop it or have enough bag space to store it.

    Makes me wonder how they will be handled, will you need to find ammo+links=belt(higher chance to jam?) belt+empty boxmag=boxmag(lower chance to jam) or will it just be ammo+empty boxmag=boxmag.

    I don't understand then. will it not snap into the extractor? does it just stay jammed in the barrel? Even if it doesn't expel the brass the firing pin should still punch the primer, I wouldn't recommend doing this because you are bound to screw it up but it in a dire need situation it should work.

    Not sure about the SIG P250 but every semi-auto I've ever handled the slide can be racked with the mag dropped or it wouldn't lock the slide back when your mag goes dry. Maybe you had the safety engaged(I know Beretta's prohibit slide movement with the safety on)? I've also never seen the hammers lock you from dry firing without a mag inserted. I cant say I've tested firing a single breach loaded round on many handguns but I've handled a lot and I've never encountered any handgun that I would suspect to not allow a breach load, just be very offset without the weight of the mag.

    Yeah I like both weapon systems. I'm hoping for the same thing to be honest but from my understanding they will be making the region appear to have NATO support areas with chopper crashes and FOB's being the only area you will find NATO weapon systems? I've also seen rocket say in an interview that they want to add maps in the US or other western regions later. To me(Canadian), yes speed reload and tactical reload are different. To the US speed reload and tactical reload are the same...
