Hello, I have been playing dayz mod a lot lately and I was wondering if anyone would like to start a clan with me. My play style is generally as a bandit but I do like to RP. I am open to all sorts of play styles if you have a particular way you would like to roll. I have been playing Dayz since 2013 so I am fairly experienced. The server I frequent on DayZ has updated to 1.8.5 but I can't seem to find the download for said version of the mod. If someone could link it to me I would appreciate it very much.

Your server has admin base... Really? Do not play on that server, major admin abuse. Admins can move vehicles as they wish and I got banned from it for commenting on the fact that you spawn with a ton of gear.

Has anyone successfully modded dayz yet, or more specifically the map. I attempted to mod the map with some of the arma 2 modding tools to no avail. I would like to know how you modded dayz if anyone has succesfully.

It maybe just me but does anyne else find it annoying that you standup/crouch when bandaging. For example, you have just been shot the abdominal area let's say. Are you going to: A. Runaway, dive into a bush standup and bandage or B. Dive to cover (possibly a bush) roll onto your side and start to bandage See my point here bandaging should maintain your stance rather than force you to one position. There could obviosly be some exceptions like crosslegged. An alternative that I think would work nicely is wound sizes require different amounts of bandage and a different animation. It also would be nice to be able to bandage smaller wounds while jogging. If anyone agrees or disagrees let me know why, don't just comment: "Nope"

So many angry noobs complaining that they are dieing and they can't see because of it, LISTEN TO YOURSELF god, just eat and drink it's not that hard to stay at max blood, it took me less than 6 minutes to recover full colour after nearly dieing.

I'm pretty sure there's a bug where zombies are invisible so that could solve one of your dilemmas. The first scenario you described was honestly probably just lag. Also don't assume a hack is 'fixed' hackers never stop hacking.

Haven't seen any discussion on this yet so I thought I might pry: What is your favorite recording software for standalone and why?

I understand that but I mean focusing on stuff to make this possible like maybe being able to lock doors inside buildings and say hide in a closet, or set traps to troll players. (Which I assume they will do because it is already in the mod.) Just little things that could have big potential.
