Science "proves" nothing, you keep using the word...everything in the paragraphs I posted was utter tosh so I stopped reading. It wasn't an anecdote either , jeeze do I have to educate you on terminology - it was an example to illustrate a point. You counter with nutjobs - rare personalities in human nature which, if it was the dominant personality it's unlikely we'd be here to talk about it. So I say how being on your own can cause you to go mad, I give a tom hanks film that's well known as an example so people can picture the point i'm making and then you turn around and say, "Aah but I can take a couple of psycho's that are rare, so not a good basis to go on in the first place, and "prove" your argument wrong." You're talking utter rubbish and you still fail to understand there's no "proofs" in science. Go look it up. LMAO!!! Oh yes I'm sure your laboratory experiment is entirely scientific. I can't wait to see your paper on it and no doubt, I'll be there when you receive your nobel prize. BTW folks, that is NOT the way to conduct science. You don't start with a conclusion and then find the facts to fit it. Also, a theory in scientific terms means a body of evidence, not a hunch you have. Your also mistaking a few encounters you've had as "evidence" whilst ignoring your obvious bias. Where's your data? Where's the notes you've made on every encounter that you've based this "theory" of yours on. Where's your test data? Sorry but I'm not going to let you get away with staining the meaning of science with this nonsense and fitting "theory", "observed" and "evidence" into a sentence to try and show that you think you know the meaning of the scientific method doesn't cut it either. -

The guy was out at a bar, with a brigade of strippers, they decided to go to the beach and have a wild orgy, he wakes up the next day to see the strippers leaving on a huge yacht. He looks sad :( but turns around to see where he is. That's when he notices his willy is really itchy. It's a race against time, he must find meds to stop this willy rash but then OMG! zombies!!!! run quick...oohh my willy i need to scraaaaarrrrghhhh ...zombiesss!!!! ooh my willy must get to hospital... -

I stopped reading after this once I realised what a complete load of bollocks you just spouted. Obviously the scientific method is lost on you, I would say mathematics as well as that is the domain of "proofs". There's also evolutionary evidence for morality (do you want me to go find some peer reviewed papers for you? :rolleyes: ) aside from the blatant fact that we got here didn't we? We are a more moral and enlightened society than we were 500 years ago, a 1000 years ago, etc. This "might" have something to do with the fact that we're social animals and can work out the difference between something that is bad for us over something that is better. It's quite possible your failure to see this means you're one of "those" people. Your lack of psychology skills is written all over that last paragraph. So we have two people left in the world and one man kills another - how many times have we seen how mad a person can go with no human interaction. Tom Hanks' movie "castaway" portrays this rather well. People KOS because it's fun - because we're playing a game and it has nothing to do with how the human race works or survives, that would be anthropology. People also kos because they get pissed off when they're KOS'd all the time. Some people are just dicks, others are scared of losing their gear. It's certainly got nothing to do with your rather educationally challenged opinion above ;) -

If you think you can hide anything, or that someone won't stumble across a vehicle after a few days you're kidding yourself and that's on a map the size of cherno - lmao @ namalsk - it's fucking tiny! Not only do me and a mate run along the map edge fairly frequently, but others are doing it to and vehicles stick out like a sore thumb - especially from the air where forests become a brown blob on the ground which ALL vehicles stand out. People might use a hack but really, on a populated server you vehicle will be found - there are no hiding spots (and personally, I'd remove the chopper from the game - they can't fix the issue with the way forests render and make it OP but they keep the chooper in - that to me seems brainless.) -

They might seem to make a lot of noise on these forums, but in general these people are ignored by most reasonable people because they're known to be idiots - they're the equivalent of creationists. Dean's losing no sleep over these comments because they're not worth it - he's got more important things to loose sleep over or maybe he sleeps like a baby. Either way, as dipshits all over the world will fail to comprehend over and over again, it will be released when it's ready.

Yes a fucking stupid feature of arma and really annoying when you're playing proper arma missions and your compeltely hidden yet somehow the AI knew exactly where you pressed that button from. I'm not even sure they fixed it for arma 3

If I owned a video game company, I a) wouldn't make console games and b) wouldn't say anything about a game until it was a month away from release.

Not when you're looking at a road sign that's in Cryllic but all the town names are in English on the map. If it were the same alphabet then yes, but as it isn't, all maps would have their Cryllic names on them.

1.7 million x $20 for arma 2 = $34,000,000 I think they've done alright for themselves, considering the people that already bought arma paid more initially. What we don't know is how many people bought Arma 2 just for dayz but it was high, it was on steam best seller. Also a kickstarter wasn't going to work since the game was a mod of a game and then the engine reworked for what it is today but I think you're ignoring the point that the game has been reworked and in how long, a year? That's pretty good going tbh -

Well it's a nice assertion but you haven't backed it up. As for options, no they are not good, otherwise we could argue about an option to make me fly. According to your logic, it should be added and leave it to the server admins to decide if they want to turn it on or off. Considering the premise of the game and what it's aiming for, death messages go against it and therefore should not be an option but should be removed. Seems to me that some people want it to be a "survival" game but then they want crutches. Saying that, looking at the state of servers today most people want lot's of cars, weapons and ammo scattered literally everywhere with all the crutches turned on. Since when was dayz ever about having guns stockpiled all over the place. The fact that the game already has so many options just goes to show how "options" have ruined the whole thing - the servers out there are evidence of this and the ones that are busiest are the ones with the easiest access to guns and vehicles?

Since Rocket has touted this game as a survival game not for carebears then he obviously will be sticking to viewpoint and not introducing a gimmicky thing such as this. He'll also be taking away 3rd person.... :huh: Oh no...he didn't.... :emptycan:

Gotta say OP you're death should have been. Zombie grab you and pull you down - how many times have you seen people ripped apart by the horde - I just wish they'd add the guts being pulled from your body. If the zeds are weak they're just an irritation. Now we have to be a lot more careful but they're still pretty easy to avoid. However, now you have to get away from them. No more, I'll just grab these items and take a few hits, I'll be ok. Just like it should be :) -
