    AFAIK a hive wipe only wipes the database of your equipment. It's not likely to affect your game.

Do people not understand that's it's ridiculous to complain about the state of something that hasn't been built yet. I was down at the shipyard the other day with my mates and we were all laughing at this guy building a boat. It hardly had a hull and the mast was half built. Jeez what a piece of shit boat it doesn't even have half the stuff all the other boats on the dock have I don't even know why he's bothering to make it might as well give up :rolleyes:

    I have no issue's with it really. Yes I have to run out a building a few times but it's rare and the benefits outweigh the alternative. The code will get refined and it will get better.

    All video games are the same to a degree. They're all fun until they're not although it's an alpha so we haven't even played the game yet. However, no other game gets you sweating like DayZ does.

    Aaah now your previous post makes sense. If you're thinking it's just comms then no that's not it at all. It's where your team start a fight with another team. after about 10 minutes you all get shot in the back and are wondering WTF???? Little did you know that half the opposing team logged out of the server, joined another server, moved to a position behind your lines then logged back into the server you are on and butchered your asses.

    Wow that long? Should have asked God he did it with a click of his fingers. Pffff...amateurs ;) edit: btw Chernarus is a master piece. It's a pity more people don't appreciate the obvious work that went into it or enjoy walking through it. I think I might do a "Hikers Guide to Chernarus" and post it up.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTezCMqMylE#t=09s I want to be able to walk like the guy at 9 seconds. In fact, I want a crap load of stand, crouch, walk and run animations to choose from. Via the character menu on the main screen, you would see a preview of each animation, being able to rotate your avatar just like you can now with a play/stop button and arrows to select back and forth. This makes your character way more of an individual and recognisable to your friends if you stick to the same ones. It also helps in identifying targets and adds to immersion as everyone can be standing around and not all looking like robots. Beans if you support the idea :)

    A large map and different maps will be required (to those that love maps and exploring) BUT DUDE SERIOUSLY!!!!! Get the fuck out more and interact with people and live real life before you become a hermit.

    U can tell the quality of the item by looking at it on the ground. I'm getting pretty good at telling what state an item is in by just looking at it on the ground. EDIT: LOL oh you said "quantity" :blush:

    No you can't stop that other than making the initial change of server timer 10 minutes which would at least mitigate it somewhat. Also, most times I play Dayz I'm already on the same server as my friends so how many times would that happen anyway?

    If your travels are longer than 30 minutes, you'll get back in the original server with no problem. 30 minutes seems to be a fair number to use?

    It won't run at low fps, they'll reduce the draw distance to 600m or something and remove the grass and so what if it's going to consoles? Good, more money to a game company I happen to like = more games they make. As long as they remain loyal to the PC market who cares if they port games to console? As long as it's porting FROM pc TO console.
