Sorry but it's the NW airfield and I can't have sympathy for the OP even though I agree with him somewhat. So given the situation, you're in Indian country and most likely, OP and his friend weren't the only ones up there. Do you think people have time to parlay? Nope, shoot you, get it over as quick as possible and move on. They could have chatted then got shot in the back for doing so. I'd kill you up there in a heartbeat - any military place is KOS but anywhere else I'm only going to fight if you try to fight me.

Oh dear..... it is still a FPS because that is the STYLE of the game - you shoot in first person!!!! I have to explain this well known concept that been used in the gaming world for decades now?? You didn't answer my question - do you or do you not play FPS's? Don't want to answer which is why you tried to dodge the question? That's because you have no issues playing other FPS's I'm guessing so unless you're that bad at gaming, there's no reason why you can't play this one easily too.

Do you even have one? Much like a zombie survival plan, the zombie survival kits is the next most important thing to have. Without a plan you're fucked. Without a plan and a kit you're proper fucked. So when the ZA happens and you have to reach for it, what have you put in there to help you over the coming weeks and months.... Remember, it has to be lightweight and something you can grab at a moments notice. In mine I'd have.... Tampons, perfect for starting fires. Box of matches x2 lighters (zippo) Lighter fuel Swiss army knife Hatchet Knife Whetstone Sewing Kit Water bottle (filled) Water purification tablets My old army cooking pot (compact and light with it's own little cooker) Fuel for pot Socks and underwear Bottle of Alcohol Bag of Porridge Bag of rice

LOL no I just think you're lying to yourself or you don't play any other First Person Shooters?

Whenever I respawn, I don't want gear off other players I like finding it myself. Some food maybe if I can't find any but really, I'd just like a nice chat over a cup of tea :)

Play with me one night and...oh  -
Yes and until we get to control groups of AI, it should remain out of the game ;)

How about a hybrid SSD. I need to buy a TB HD. I have a 240 gb ssd that I have my games on right now but my OS is on it to. What I want to do is get a hybrid drive and put them all on there leaving my OS ssd free - anyone running a hybrid and can tell how it runs DayZ?
-
They got rid of it in Rust.

Seriously the amount of zombies is enough?? LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All excuses. There aren't that many people suffering motion sickness and there's a FOV slider to alleviate that anyway which widens your view further than most other games on PC and all game son Console so let's scrub this excuse off the list. Next one to go - camera position - what, you mean it's on your head? We all have the same so that's another excuse we can get rid of. Clunky movement - learn to play. No, seriously. You can get away with Clunky movement in the beginning but play it enough and it should be ok - unless these people are saying they can't figure out how to move in which case they should learn to play. Plenty of people move perfectly fine in the game. That's excuse 3 scrubbed :)

Don't join persistent servers - they don't spawn gear (unless it changed recently).
-
The OP is a little bit weird and not sure what the point is. That he is useless at dealing with easy mode zombies or that he's upset that the game didn't stop 2 other people playing the game the way they want (despite what we might think of them).
-
And what has that got to do with excluding items due to weight? Wasn't his point that in a zombie apocalypse, which as far as I know we are in, you would have no need for a weapon that weighs so much when you have lighter, more accurate and better weapons systems available. That running around with one in your backpack, plus all your other gear, not to mention another gun no doubt would leave you knackered because of all the jogging everyone does. You are constantly on the move. Taking it to the extremes then, maybe they should add in nukes because I want to fire those off - surely you add things into the world that make sense and suit the universe you're making, don't you?
-
Because you didn't sacrifice a can of beans!

Nice :)

If he was even afk and wasn't just a ghost avatar left behind after logging off.
-
LOL or die then you'll find them everywhere but then you don't need them any longer.
-
I didn't say you needed to exclude items because they weigh too much did I? Also, heavy items and moving them could be done a lot easier with something...I can't quite remember what it is...it's on the tip of my tongue...but it makes travel really easy and effortless.

Primitive equipment: possibilities and such
Jex replied to Whyherro123's topic in General Discussion
I was running over to the NE airfield as my friends were close by. I was at the military base south of the NW airfield so we're talking on teamspeak about the stupid fireplace kit because we couldn't get it working and I thought it was bugged out as we tried sticks and wood and couldn't get it to work at all. So as we're talking I spot movement and sky-lining itself on a hilltop in full profile was a red deer, looked magnificent. 10 minutes later and they worked out how to light the fire and of course I had no meat. It turns out putting the fireplace on the side of a hill doesn't work. However, when your mate just collapsed from starvation and it laying on the hillside and you've force fed and watered him, you need a fire to warm him up. Anyway, 5 minutes later and I came across a spot I recognised that months ago my friend and I found and it had 6 cows in the field. Was happy to see another 6 cows milling around there as well so I might have an almost guaranteed spot for meat for now - I hope the devs change it because I don't want one spot where I know I can always find cows. -
Longest ever sniper kill was made with L115A3.
