It was being flash messaged last night that they global banned a crap ton of players, were sorry for it and would address the the issue. My guess is they already tried to sort out hacking and failed, probably noticed when banning a load of legit players lol

After installing the game, Run both games separately for one time, then leave the game/s and try getting DayZ to work by using six updater from here... http://www.six-updat...p/download.html That should download and install the current version of the mod correctly, Good Luck!

Petition to fix how things are managed and released, by both Rocket and BI, the whole process of playing DayZ is one big, annoying process... It was thought using just one install method such as six updater would help but even that is confusing to someone new to Arma 2 and this mod. It's that confusing I'm surprised it does not do irreparable damage to the playerbase. Sort it out!

I have never seen or experienced being teleported, given weapons, thunderdomed, killed, dropped from height or anything else everyone says happens by these hacks/hackers.. Maybe I'm just lucky. ..... I just jinxed myself didn't I?

I was having artifacts with this new patch just as I did before the patch, then I changed graphics setting and it seems to have fixed it... I'll update if anything else happens. I am in cherno.

What!? the salute or lean dance didn't work for you so now you need different clothes? You think the outcome would be different if you had your idea realized... why? Bandit is a Bandit, even if your wearing only a thong.. or a two piece, scantily clad bikini... your still gonna get it.

As more and more people get used to the game, you can expect that the life expectancy should go up. When I first began playing DayZ it was only 31 mins (if I remember right).. Now its at 49 mins, people are getting better and smarter :)

I found a tractor in a field and started to head north, It was starting to go dark on the server I was on, Travelling along I came across the legendary green mountain (easily distinguished by its tower) and took the silly decision to pay it a visit. For some reason upon arrival nothing spawned, no zombies, no loot.. the place was dead.... I took haste back to the tractor planning to continue north when a zombie appeared right infront of me it hit me enough to start the bleed process and in a state of panic i tried to lose it by running around the buildings.. then as I was doing this more and more were spawning, I was losing a lot of blood and starting to think bad things. I somehow managed to lose them and bandage myself up, I was down to 2500 blood and shaking like a drug addict missing his fix... so I hit the deck and crawled all the way back to where I left the tractor, I got inside and started to pull off, here they came running at me like a pack of rabid, 28 days later'esque, blood hungry, asylum rejects... I was frantically panning my view to see where they were and while not looking where I was heading I went over a pile of rubble and lost control, Hit into one of the wrecked humvees just outside the entrance.. The tractor was instantly dead, I was thrown out of it unconscious and bleeding.. they came running onto my body.. It was clear I was going to die.. Next thing I knew I'm staring at the 'You Are Dead' screen. So yeah, the place is a bad omen.. I am never going to that place EVER again.

If you were stupid enough to give him ammunition for his weapon, you deserved to die, sorry to say. Trust no one!

Wait a minute.. I have played the role of survivor for ages, I am currently only scavenging food and water, I have a DMR and ammo to last for days.. I am lost what to do now other than kill people for kicks. Is it wrong to actually want to go to this Thunderdome? It looks exciting! I wonder what happens to you if you are the winner, the last man standing?

They look like a parcel, you can usually find them in houses, they are rare.

Your at NW airfield, have a sniper rifle, ghillie suit and have only killed 9 zombies... Your sir win some of my beans for your evident ability to evade zombie confrontation! Could be related to the screen tearing issue, or like someone above stated, tweak some video options.. that should sort it out :)

There are co-operative servers within DayZ? Never seen one. Join a group/guild/clan or whatever other post year 2000 term you guys use for banding together these days. Back in my day they would simply be called mates (and no... not the rubber kind).

Character is tied to your CD Key, I believe you will keep all items even if you change your name.

Its a new bug from the most recent patch. Should be resolved with next patch. Its not your Video Card.

I found one in Novy last night :) Wearing it like a boss!

I find if you join a server with lots of people in it, lets say 40+ players.. it will take ages to load. However if you join one with only 5-10 players, you will find the load time is remarkably better.

Please Xiroth come and let us know when you eventually bite the dust. I want to know how it feels to survive for so long, kill so many people and have lost it all... describe what you feel when looking at the 'You Are Dead' splashscreen.
