IRL people can only see from 1st person (yes I am aware it's only a game), 3rd person should not be enabled at all imo, but the ability to look around, aka move your head.. whilst in 1st person (to a certain degree) while maintaining your current direction should definitely stay. That's just one of the things that makes this game stand out from others. All in all.. I'm all for making the game more realistic.

Its from Namalsk.. the new update. The mutant heart is loot that is found on the dead body of a bloodsucker. I have no idea what it actually does.. I've not seen one yet.

I like the bandit snipers and just your plain old shotgun toting bandits. I would prefer they kill me fresh spawn.. than to kill me when I'm geared up. They add tension to the beginning of your story.

You took advantage of a fellow survivor by posing as a friend and had the cojones (even after conversing) to shoot him in the head for his belongings. That takes gall, for that you have beans. Your last sentence however... "im prolly gonna stay bandit, but not the dirty kind, a real one, one who doesnt feed on the weak Bambis." Thats exactly what you did, and by saying that you have contradicted yourself.

You have to first understand WHY you found it on a dead body. You will not get many trade offers for mountain dew... I'm afraid.

Think about it this way All people will over time learn how to survive this hell of course then the average life expectancy time will increase. Which is most likely why its gone from 30 mins to over an hour over the past few months. Nothing drastic needs to change gameplay-wise because one wrong change can be detrimental to the addiction of this mod. Its happened before.

Sounds like OP is using an out of game/online map, I would suggest he maybe find one in the game world as loot that comes complete with no advertising.

You know you play too much DayZ when you look at the clock, thinking it must be close to sleep time.. and then realize you've been sitting there for hours and hours, its morning already and the whole sitting really only felt like 10 minutes.

On a high pop servers I have waited upwards of 15 minutes on the dreaded LOADING.. thats the truth! I have time to make a coffee, have me a cigarette and get comfortable ready for the fight for survival.

oh both will easily last a month, Dayz is in essence an endless game in that it has no end game, no actual story.. its a sandbox type game that you have ultimate freedom to decide what to do, its your story, each time you start a new life is like rewriting a whole new chapter of a story. If you die you start again from scratch, lose everything you worked hard to get and thats a huge part of its appeal, you actually strive to survive. Skyrim of course has a main story, and many side quests that can easily chew hundreds of hours. Like I said before both are truly, great games. I'll end on saying.. As a gamer I can seriously say you wont have lived until you have tried both. Its that hard of a decision for me to help you, I literally cant honestly tell you which to get first, haha its an epic-ally hard to choose comparison!

Skyrim is an epic game.. no doubting that. It will eat away your life. Dayz is an epic game that is also a work in progress, it will also eat away your life. Save up a little longer and buy both is my advice :)

Is it just me or are these forums getting slow, slow as in to load pages.. it seems to take forever even on my 30mb fiber optic line! Sorry its not a suggestion, but I can make it into one... I suggest that you somehow speed them up a bit :) Thanks.

A true samaritan.. people like you are very hard to come by these dayz on dayz.

Sounds like buggy loot to me.. maybe try a different server. I get this sometimes but moving to a different server usually sorts it out.

I've said it before and I'll say it again... This game/mod needs a idiot/fool proof means of installing the game and DayZ and eventually getting to connect to a game sever, Six Updater is the so called official means but as you say to a new starter, a noob if you will.. even that is an obstacle. So many updates.. so many changes in such a short space of time with new beta's and hotfixes, servers running all manner of different versions and beta's.. I mean it's little wonder people are getting aggravated at the complexity of getting to play the game they so eagerly want to play. Such a task. Hopefully the standalone, when it arrives will do away with all this nonsence.

Be aware that that regular players to your server will lose their hard earned stuff.. It could do more harm than good.
