Is this thing still going? I want to be part of a DayZ gathering of any sort.

I've just encountered a huge wave of hackers on the Australian and New Zealand servers. A few weeks ago it was pretty hack-free besides the odd cunt who would drop a bunch of c130s on Elektro. In the past couple days I've ran into hueys spawning everywhere, tents full of hacked weapons, and a few minutes ago I came across 2 basic russian weapon crates. Not only is DayZ turning into a massive deathmatch mod - we've now got everybody armed with fully automatic rifles, night vision, LMGS and whatever the hell they want.

Because none of them are going to see this thread right?

Dogs aren't in DayZ yet. They were hacking.

So if I find a chopper, repair it, and then take a break from DayZ for one day I should just lose what I worked hard for?

Just wondering if people have been seeing a change in connections times since the last patch. I've seen a massive change, because I have not yet successfully connected to a server. EDIT: Six Updater didn't actually update to the latest version, and now that I've downloaded 1.7.2.5 using the torrent file, I have managed to join successfully within the same time as usual.

Hmm no it does not...it says 1.7.2.4 Six Updater has failed me once again.

It's on "loading", but a lot longer than it ever has been before. I can't even alt+f4 out of it like I could a few days ago before I updated. I should also mention that I am using the 95883 beta patch.

I assume it will be the same way that we find cows, rabbits, goats etc We'll probably have a scroll wheel option that gives the dog food or something from your inventory., and then it will join your squad.

Ok so I updated to 1.7.2.5, and tried connecting last night for about half an hour and had no luck getting in, then I went to bed. Now I'm trying again as I write this post, and I've got some weird blank grey screen that I've never seen before while connecting to a server, which doesn't really tell me if anything is loading or if the game has just frozen. Can anyone tell me what this means?

I'm afraid I've only got pictures of my knob.

Yeah I'm having even more trouble connecting to servers than before.

It's been happening to me since a few days ago. Lost a Huey and a Bison + ammo.
