This happened to me. I got killed, I then aborted to make a new character, but I spawned as my old character next to the building I died in. Came back another day, and I was a new character. Then another day I was the old character that got killed before. -

If I've got a new character I'll just respawn because I can't be fucked crawling a kilometer just to get shot. If I've got a character that I've been using for a while then I will crawl if the hospital is close by or get on Teamspeak so somebody can help me. -

Not every time. But there are no zombies off map or in forests, and if you do take damage, just find an animal and cook its meat.

I never listen to music while playing Arma. The only time I do is when someone plays a custom sound file during helicopter flights.

Green Mountain is pretty dangerous due to the vehicles that have spawned there. Pobeda Dam is also a water source for the people up north with fancy weapons and vehicles.

Why does it have to be guns anyway? I'd be using a compound bow and slingshot. -
tl;dr The easy way is to run up north with a hatchet, matches, knife, and a canteen. Stay hidden and you'll be fine.
