Maybe it is just the starting connection ping? Maybe when you join it drops to a steady ping of some sorts?

I get FPS drops. But not that large. More like 50-20 every couple of minutes. It is a bug for me atleast. Havnt found a fix. But try editing config files maybe? Really I have to say.

Can you list your system specs and temperatures if you have them when this lag occurs? That kinda stuff helps A LOT

You might want to try and find one with a bit more ram. one with 6 should suffice. But, if you want to run hardcore games like, Battlefield, or COD if you are like that you are going to need to switch to either a desktop build, or a much better laptop build. ya. what he said, we should worry more about the problem of bugs and hackers. And no, that was not meant to be a flame rant. But, there are bigger problems for the development team then the spawn rate of the bullpup. Though other variants would be cool, they'd have to be rare.

I mean your best bet is when they do not respond state firmly, say something or die. And if not. YOu just gotta kill em. With this tactic I really havn't KOSed in idk how long. But I really havn't murdered anybody without speaking in a while. I generally try to get them to say something. Or just become a KOSer until you find a tactic that works. Trial and error is best really.

Yes, adding pooping just seems out of place and a little silly. But I also believe Rocket never stated anything about laboratories, and I will check after I reply here if he actually did. But anti-material rifle's should be either extremely, extremely rare to find, or not be in at all. Its just unrealistic to have something like that in such a poor area. If you look around Chernarus, it isn't a high quality rich country. It is very poor and baren (I am also aware its the apocalypse so we have to keep that in mind when looking at the country) But the infection has been there for a long time, so finding any high quality loot also seems silly. We have never gotten a straight timeline, but evidence points out that the infection must've been around for some time.

I run an AMD FX-8350 2 R7 260x's And I still run not all that great, but the game isn't optimized at all, of course that doesn't mean anything for somebody with a lesser build, Now, your build isn't terrible, but it certainly isn't top notch high gear gaming either. And your statement that mentions Intel running better than AMD, it is dependent on the chip and card. Each play an important role in your game performance. EDIT: the game also does not run full performance like a game such as Arma 3 does. Even high tier gaming PC's don't run this game the way it should. So your best bet is to upgrade your CPU as much as possible. But don't worry a whole lot on your card. The game isn't very GPU intensive. DayZ also does not utilize any 2nd GPU. You infact have to actually force the game to in AMD And Nvidia card settings. And even then you probably won't notice a whole lot of a difference.

This is a game, with infected running around. Not COD with barrets and rockets. EDIT: You mention that these are zombies, not infected. When infact from the beginning of the mod he states the enemy of the game is infected who have contracted to virus turning them into flesh eating monsters(Of course that isn't a direct statement, but he does point out they're infected, not zombies) .
