As Dean mentioned before, any energy or "stamina" like things in the game are not going to be in because the map is HUGE so going 200m will give you a heartattack and make the game already as time consuming as it is. I feel you. The server junk is just really poor at this point. on the mod full servers were bad for a ton of people too.

I think 2 or 3 punches should have some affect. such as a stun to the point where they are able to shoot and move but sluggishly because of being hit so many times in the head or in the back of the head. EDIT: meant to add just not as much damage as they do now**

i find it stupid. Respawning loot can only be abused. It is widely known how. unless they have implemented a better mechanic to fix this. But i find it better to re store gear at restart because if you join a 100 person server people are going to check the same town as you. If they get there first why should you have the same chances for the loot. First come, first serve.
