Unfortunately not, I didn't happen to be recording at the time, simply playing by myself for a few minutes before I went to sleep for the night. Just wanted to bring this to the attention of anyone else who may be suffering from related problems

So I was running along in the forest just north of Cherno when I noticed a guy following me, just 10-15 feet behind. I didn't think it was that weird, possibly just forgetting to check my 6 oclock since leaving the city, allowing this guy to get close to me. At the time I was doing the double-main weapon trick where you have a gun on your back and one in your hands so I spun around and pointed my M4 at this guy, telling him to stop and get on the ground. He did, and I told him not to get up until I was 200m away. He asked me where I was going, to which I didn't answer. Roughly 200-300m away, I suddenly shoulder my weapon (forcing me to drop it since its in my hands), and the same guy materializes beside me. The whole 200m I had been watching him facedown in the grass over my shoulder, so then I realize that he's just toying with me. I then realize that I am unable hold to any item, whether it's teh M4 at my feet, Mosin on shoulder, pistol in vest, or food. I simply hold it for a second, then stick it back where it came from. I try and log out to fix it. For some curiosity or dumb reason, I log back into the same server, hoping that maybe he hadn't taken my M4 and just wanted to fuck with me. No such luck. So I take off running again, and 5 minutes later he and a buddy simultaneously teleport in front of me, and my character is again forced to shoulder the weapon that I was carrying at the time, Mosin. He taunts me saying "hey you forgot your weapon" and I immediately log out, thinking they were planning to simply shoot me on the spot now. I went to another server and watched the player list very carefully for 10 minutes, but they didn't appear to have switched servers. So I'm now down an M4, but thankfully I still have my Mosin, my life, my clothing and healthiness, and gear. Tl;dr-Hack that lets you teleport to any player and force them to shoulder any item including weapons and gear in their hands. Only justified case of combat logging

So upon joining US231, I get to the point where it says "Setup completed, please wait", and then I catch a glimpse of the menu screen. At that point, my entire screen goes entirely grey, with no interface, no options, and buttons not doing anything. I'm forced to then Alt-F4 the game without any other options. This does not happen with other servers such as 3441, 659, only 231 as far as I can tell, but I haven't tried other VA administrated servers. No, I am not running hacks or exploits, yes I have already restarted my computer. From another forum post, it appears that other Vigilant Addiction servers have this problem, but not all of them. But the reason why this is so unique is that now the problem is limited to me. After a small server file purge and restart, other people were able to get into the server. I reinstalled ARMA 2:OA, and now instead of the grey screen, I get a white screen. What the fuck? I tried to look over any possible program that could result in packet injection or overlays being used, but I attempted to run DayZ after quitting skype, teamspeak, steam, and whatpulse, to no effect. Anyone have any clues?

So after updating from 1.8.0.2 to 1.8.0.3 this afternoon, I've been kicked immediately or within minutes of joining any server for PublicVariable #1. I've googled and otherwise searched for said PublicVariable number, but I've yet to see another person who's encountered #1. What's this all about, and anything I can do about it?

Although it's obvious what you're talking about in this context, whenever someone uses the words "Kill your peers" in any DayZ related context, it makes me trust them... just the slightest bit less. ;D

Apparently so. As I found out from another person, even though the windows only are damaged, it reverts to some form of "damaged" model rather than the pristine default model, as long as I'm guessing a certain percentage of parts are broken (since it has so few actual parts)? Either way, it's only a visual thing for now, the body is 100% intact, even if the model looks damaged. Now if only I could stop the windows from breaking nonstop for whatever reason....

Ah shit, sorry about that. I actually posted this first on reddit and decided to cross-post it here as well for extra answers, so I just lazily copy-pasta'd it. Put it into notepad and back to clear formatting, I think that should do it.

So I recently acquired a biplane and was flying it round, making some hard landings in fields including nicking a wing on the ground. I land it successfully and notice that the biplane model is no longer pristine green painted metal, but that it's scratched, dinged up, greyed out in spots, and full of holes. The next time I take off I also notice black smoke billowing out of the back of the plane any time the engine is on. So then I land it again, with the intention of repairing it. Knowing that biplane damage is limited to hull (engine and fueltanks not measured), I grab a scrap metal from my stash and head back to the plane. Yet for some reason, I simply can not fix the damage. It gives me options for 4 different windshield glass repairs, but no body repair. The aircraft does appear to have a green "body" status icon when viewed from the pilot's seat, but there is visible damage and smoking from the plane. What the fuck is going on?

Take your pick. I am looking for a set of NVGs, ghillie suits or camo suits, tents, an M40A3, as well as an axe, rangefinder, GPS, compass, and antibiotics. I am able to trade anywhere in the Northwestern quadrant of the map, but am currently located in the NW airfield. If you manage to catch this post in the next 12 hours or so, before my friends can save me, I also need to be saved in the NW airfield with antibiotics and a blood bag (I'll include that in the price of a trade).
