  1. To give a very brief background- my clan has had several Arma 2 DayZ Servers in the past, ranging from Vanilla, to DayZ+, to Epoch, and then an upgrade to Overpoch. We are talking about opening another DayZ Server. We have very specific tastes in DayZ, as we've been playing it close to around the time Vanilla first came out. We want to focus more on the PvP, Cooperative, and Survival Aspect of DayZ to include loot runs. We want our day-to-day environment to be loot runs, friendly/hostile encounters with other players, building player bases, and participation in server-hosted events. We fondly remember the days when we'd have to play for several weeks straight in order to build up supplies. We would then go out to the coast and assist other players as requested, or engage bandits as needed. OUR IDEA: - Chernarus Map - Overpoch Mod with VERY LIMITED FEATURES: - Gold Coin Currency with Bank ATM - Vehicle Traders (Limited Vehicles, No Sports Car BS) - Miscellaneous Traders (To include safes, lockboxes, tin, key makers kits, etc.) (Maybe include chainsaws?) - Ammunition Traders (Maybe add weapon traders) - Overpoch Weapons Spawn in Loot Tables - Allow for Building with small addons including Snap-Build - Basic Starting Gear to include a couple bandages, a flashlight, a coyote patrol pack, and maybe a pistol with one mag. (No starting cash) WE WON'T HAVE: Food, Drink, Medical, Car Part, Building Part Traders (Too easy... We enjoyed the survival and looting aspect of Vanilla) Auto-Refuel, Self Blood Bag, and other easy crutch mods Tanks, Jets, Attack Helicopters, Armored Cars Slow Zombies Spawn Select Any other gimmicky or cheap mods that make the game too easy. We welcome all votes and comments. Let us know if you'd be interested in this! We may be open to the possibility of AI and Missions, but we would strongly prefer to base the server off player-to-player interaction.

Would you play on this server?

The initial concept would be: 1) Through selling looted weapons, ammunition, and vehicles to traders. 2) From participating in and succeeding in server events.
  3. CLAN INFORMATION: The =167= Clan is actively recruiting new troops to join the fight in Chernarus! We are a US Army based clan that was formed back in 2003 and we have been running strong ever since. We currently have several members who are retired US Army and we are constantly training and utilizing real-world tactics, or modified versions of them. We communicate in Teamspeak while we play DayZ, and when we split up, we go into separate channels so we can communicate the little things with our squadmates, such as "Zombie to your 11 o'clock." and "Do you have any water?" without interfering with another squad who may be operating 5 km away. We have whisper lists setup in Teamspeak so that we can communicate cross-channel to the other squads when necessary. Think of this as a two-way radio. When we communicate cross-channel we utilize call signs, code words, and phrases to give a more realistic feel to the game play. This will be especially impressive when we start pumping out videos. We are much more than just some friends playing games. We have plenty of structure, opportunity for advancement, and we treat each other like family. Here are just a few reasons why you should join =167=: Solid Leadership. We've been running for 11 years and our leaders have accumulated quite a bit of knowledge and experience along the way. We also have a very extensive week-long leadership training program that all officers must attend. Teamwork. We train our members to work together as a cohesive unit by promoting teamwork and selfless service. We will often recognize clan members for performing outstanding activities that positively affect their team, even if these activities are out of the limelight. Member Recognition. We are always on the lookout for members doing outstanding deeds. We have custom-made ribbon awards which we issue for a broad range of things including attending training, performing service to the gaming community, volunteer efforts among the clan, and much more. We also publicly recognize members and their accomplishments through promotion in rank and delegation of responsibility. Hassle-Free Organized Structure. The =167= Clan has always had a very organized, military-like structure. This can be a huge benefit for those who wish to advance in rank, learn how to lead, and take command of groups. However, there are people who wish to come online, play with their clan, then log off with no more responsibilities than being a team player. We understand and respect this fact. We will never pressure members to advance in rank or take a responsibility that they don't want. Good Times with Great People. Everyone in =167= comes on to have fun and enjoy each others company. The environment in Teamspeak is very friendly, and usually involves a lot of laughing and people having a good time. We can get pretty serious when we need to be, especially during a firefight, but everyone treats each other with respect and has a good time, whether we're horsing around or we aren't. Does this sound like a good time to you? Do you have what it takes to join =167=? What do you have to lose? Find out more and join the family! 5. Hi Corrado13, Thanks for your interest in the =167= Clan! I'm sorry to hear that you're having some trouble filling out our enlistment application. You're not the first person to report having an issue with that particular feature of the enlistment application. When you scroll over the box, there should be an arrow pointing down on the right-side. If you click that, a dropdown menu with a calendar will appear, and you'll be able to click a day of the month. The field will then auto-fill with the correct date. It appears that some browsers don't support this feature, therefore, you'll have to utilize the following format: MM/DD/YYYY Once you utilize that format, the form should submit properly. If it doesn't, feel free to contact me utilizing the "Contact Us" link on the website's navigation bar. Select "Headquarters Battalion" and the email will be sent directly to my inbox. Thanks again for your interest and we hope to hear from you soon! Regards, LTC. Rick Battalion Commander Headquarters Battalion =167= Clan

Looking for a Clan to join.

=167= is currently recruiting. We're currently a small group looking to expand our ranks and add to the family. We have a new Epoch server that has safe trader zones (which include backpack protection), unlimited trader stock, an adjusted timezone (so its daylight during peak hours), 300+ vehicles, and full moon nights. If you're interested in joining, please fill out our short application on our website. If you meet the criteria, you'll be given our Teamspeak 3 information and we can proceed from there. Our website is: www.167clan.net Best Regards, Rick

  10. Tonight was pretty awesome! We had a couple of bandits brutally hatchet two of our guys. We then proceeded to hunt the bandits down and confront them in Cherno. The end result? 2 dead bandits. Although it looks like their vehicle may have crashed into that destroyed HMMWV, I did manage to get the hit that finished Hans Gruber at least. 22:53:14 "PKILL: Hans Gruber (*********) was killed by [167th] Rick Grimes (********) with weapon M16A2GL from 110.247m"
  11. We've been having a blast helping people out. One of our guys found and crashed a chopper, so.. Watch out folks, there may be another one spawning soon! If you haven't already checked us out, now is a great time!
  12. We've officially released our custom loot tables! We've decreased the amount of trash, increased the amount of food, drinks, some medical supplies (such as bandages), as well as tools! We've based some of our custom loot tables off the ones that were used in the DayZ+ mod. Come pay us a visit tonight!
  13. Had a fun time last night. Helped out a few different people- gave one player a bloodbag and some ammo and fixed his truck. We're now tinkering with the volatile infection rate trying to reduce it to make the game less about having to hunt down antibiotics.
  14. Just an update, we've moved our server to a brand new datacenter. The IP address and location in the original post have been updated. Hop on into our server tonight! See how you like it!
  15. We had another awesome time last night! We helped two fresh spawns by giving them food, drink, and some basic medical supplies. We also took down two people- a player that was stalking us, and a bandit that was on a roof in Elektro. Come check us out!
  16. We had a great time last night! We had a firefight with some bandits at NWAF, gathered some supplies, and we even helped an unarmed survivor! All that's missing? YOU! Come check us out tonight!

    =167= Recruiting for Vanilla DayZ

Update: We are still recruiting and we now have a private hive server. More details on the server will follow shortly.
  19. We are having the same problem and since we're running on the public hive, we're unable to edit the mission file. What can we do to fix this if anything?

We will never pressure members to advance in rank or take responsibility that they don't want. Good Times with Great People. Everyone in =167= comes on to have fun and enjoy each others company. The environment in Teamspeak is very friendly, and usually involves a lot of laughing and people having a good time. We can get pretty serious when we need to be, like in APB during a close mission, or in DayZ during a firefight, but everyone treats each other with respect and has a good time, whether we're being serious or not. Does this sound like a good time to you? Do you have what it takes to join =167=? What do you have to lose? Find out more and join the family! Looking for people to play with

The =167= Clan's Bravo Company is now actively recruiting members to join in our DayZ Operations. We are a US Army based clan that was formed back in 2003 and has been running strong ever since. We currently have two divisions and are in the process of setting up a third. They are: - Alpha Company (APB: Reloaded Division) - Bravo Company (DayZ Mod Division) - Charlie Company (Battlefield 4 Division) We communicate in Teamspeak while we play DayZ, and we play in separate channels so we can communicate the little things with our squadmates, such as "Zombie to your 11 o'clock." and "Do you have any water?" We have whisper lists setup in Teamspeak so that we can communicate cross-channel to the other squads when necessary. Think of this as a two-way radio. When we communicate cross-channel we utilize call signs, code words, and phrases to give a more realistic feel to the gameplay. This will be especially impressive when we start pumping out videos. Example: Overlord 6: Bravo 11 Actual, message follows. Over. Bravo 11 Actual: Roger, Overlord 6. Send Message. Over. Overlord 6: Bravo 11 Actual, you are to move to one-zero-four, zero-eight-six. How copy? Over. Bravo 11 Actual: Solid Copy, Overlord 6. Proceeding to one-zero-four, zero-eight-six. Out. We are much more than just some friends playing games. We have plenty of structure, opportunity for advancement, and we treat each other like family. Here are just a few reasons why you should join =167=: Solid Leadership. We've been running for 10 years and our leaders have accumulated quite a bit of knowledge and experience along the way. We also have a very extensive week-long leadership training program that all officers attend.
