I like your enthusiasm for trying to kill a form of exploitation. But this was be a god send to spawn killers surely? edit: ah nm, jumped ahead the last couple o sentences XD yea seems ok to me XD -
fuck it, bumpety bump bump cleaned it up a bit but seeing as there seems to be alot of new posters, would be interested to see if anyone has any other "industry targets", thoughts or criticisms of this idea. or just generally their thoughts on it :)

Many, many years off. Cool but If were not playin in our home towns on Day Z ...4, then we'll be reminiscing on how it inspired whatever does take on that challenge. I think this thread is preparing us all for a nice bit of nostalgia XD

as much as people would complain about it being stupid, there defo would be people who would play as kids, but i doubt that anything would be introduced where children could be eaten and shot, despite my sincerest hopes. no to anything NPC, just animals and zeds.

ok then, good idea making it only accessible via good humanity, but still open to organised exploitation, the channels were reduced down in number just to mimic close interactions. + tis asking the devs to help you out more then I think they should, theres already established medic groups. Just get in touch on the forums.

wow, errr yea XD I remember getting stoooned about a decade ago with mates discussing the perfect zombie game... well actually that scenario hasnt really stopped BUT we often felt a mixture between fps and birds eye (strategy) view would be the best way to integrate base and community building with fps. Although never thought of it in terms of an MMO but just like Dungeon Keeper 2 and the possession spell, except theres far more to do in the possession aspect in the zed game. anyway, yea good idea, havnt seen it suggested before (probably has been though) and i have little to no idea whether the engine could support it or not but they are hardly good reasons not to support it! OP+1 The only problem that i potentially see is how these bases would look? I guess those categories of bases would be good for purely defining the capacity of a player base but personally i felt this game should always push for as much dynamic sandbox interaction as possible, not just in items and player functions but also in manipulating a dynamic environment. What i mean to say is not having a generic skin and shape (that will become identifiable to the frequent player), and a set number of items to "construct" the base. I feel anything that could be constructed in the game should have the freedom of creative design to enable players to change their bases based on considering its purpose, the environment its in, and the previous experience of the players.

BLeh! If the fake gun skin is any different from the usual guns then it defeats the purpose, peeps will know its fake. Likewise peeps will also grow accustomed to the sound of "fake" shooting. Blank Clips maybe, but i dont really see the point in a fake gun.

Surely if you enabled water bottles to be partitioned then you could fill it up progressively, enable gulps so a water bottle could be shared. As well as using the same function on jerry cans to enable siphoning of fuel from vehicles.

I wouldnt mind seeing botany introduced, as well as some kind of cultivation plot or greenhouse permafixture for the sake of combining all your foraged efforts (Making the different types of plants distinctly available in certain areas or conditions), as well as possibly enabling mechanism for refining them in the hospital. Both of these kind of rely on buildings being open and containing facilities you could use aswell as more extensive health conditions being introduced. Drugs n drink have been called out for, for a while now though so im pretty confident the devs have got that message.

I like beating dead horses :( Control Old Industry! Itd be sick if you could reclaim old industrial processes. Would give incentives for prolonged group activities, occupying and claiming built up areas (and essentially create player designed safe zones), establishes and ties groups down to servers, aswell as a production pay-off that could be used a source of power for your group to either bargain or war with others on the server. Not to mention this is all player driven. -
