Why is the day and night cycle on real life time? If it was on a 1 hour cycle it would be much better for a survival game. If I log into a day server I know I can ditch all my light sources right off the start. Why do I need a flash light if I know its going to be daytime EVERYTIME I play? A 1 hour cycle could add so much to the game. Nights get colder, you could get sick, more zombies could come out, you need a fire to keep warm, or a rain coat if it is raiining. The potential is endless. Yet we are stuck with either day or night always with no change.

KoS does not need to be fixed. Welcome to your first sandbox game. One of the only true sandbox games made in this pathetic time for the gaming industry. DayZ mod has been going strong since it released long before the standalone, don't worry about it dying anytime soon. Implementing your idea will make this game nothing more than what is already out on the market, shit. The reason it is so popular is the great gaming experience that FREEDOM provides. Take that away and the game is a glitchy peace of crap. The one and ONLY thing dayz has going for it is the true freedom to play anyway you want. It would completely ruin the excitement of the game to do anything to KOS. Also rocket has explained many times before he is doing nothing to take away the freedom for players to kill whoever they want. And god bless rocket for his hardcore attitude and for creating one of the most anticipated games of the year. What did he make 5 million dollars the first weekend? He wouldn't have touched that amount if the game had restrictions.

Intel is going to give you better performance with arma 3 or dayz standalone.

Beards in game would be great. Fresh spawns are clean shaved. The longer you survive the longer your beard gets. That way you can identify people who have been alive for a long time or fresh spawns. Do suggestions go here or in the mod section.

Why is the day and night cycle on a 24 hour cycle like real life? Or is it turned off currently? Most people play the game at the same time everyday, after work, or on the weekend. They should experience a day night cycle in game that is on around a 1 hour timer. That way we have a chance to experience surviving at night, making a campfire, keeping warm etc.

People like you try to ruin DayZ and have been trying since the mod launched long ago. Lucky for us Rocket is not a vag and made a great sandbox game.

What is being done about combat logging? Everyone logs out when they see another player. Also when you kill someone there body leaves when they log out before you can loot them. That was an old problem with the mod and I hope it gets fixed soon.

DayZ is hard and that's why I like it. I would not waste money on a game with safe zones and other dumb shit like that. Go play every other cookie cutter bullshit game out there.

I noticed there is a bug list for version DayZ version 1.7.7 but DayZ commander says im fully updated at version 1.7.6.1. Is DayZ commander not doing the updates anymore? Or do I have the correct latest version.

Can we get ghillie suits and camos for the woman models please. My wife plays and she sticks out like a sore thumb in her blue jacket and white pants. This is clearly the most important issues rocket and team should be working on.

Sunday at 740 pm PST I located 7th operations base at skalka mountain. Me and 2 others killed or were close to killing 2 7th op members when the server was taken down( Session lost). We waited for about an hour and they finally brought the server back up. We log in, we see 2 of them crawling around. One of my guys breaks there leg and dies. me and the other guy kill the 2 7th op members. Then the server is brought down again. (Session Lost). About 10 minutes later the server comes back up and we cannot log in because it says bad cd key. They banned us so they could hide their loot. I cant believe people like this run servers. It is just stuff guys, seriously. Why even play if you hug your pixels so fucking hard. That is BS.

I already posted about these admins at Dallas 22. We attacked there base and they took the server down 2 times because they assumed we were hacking. They also combat logged when we attacked there base. The same thing they accused you of doing. Here is my link. Whats the point of having rules if you can admit breaking them and not get banned for it. Lets get some eforcement already.

A couple of times when going to the NW airfield I have found people inside the barracks taking eveything outside and dropping it on the ground. After some testing, this causes the barracks to respawn after about 10 minutes. I was wondering if this is possible at a heli crash site? Or do they despawn after looting?

1 minute logout timer unless you are by a camp fire. That would fix everything. if you move the timer starts over again.

Six Launcher did not install anything extra for me. I use fire foxes script blocker so maybe that took care of it. A friend of mine tried to install six launcher and he told me it was trying to install some other stuff. I figured out he was clicking on the wrong like and once he used the correct link it did not download anything extra.

Everything you put inside your tent will save in there until you or someone else finds it and takes it out. Thats why people hide their tents. Tents stay on the server you placed them on. Vehicles can be saved in locations and they stay there on that specific server. Sometimes stuff gets messed up in server restarts so nothing is set in stone yet.

Have not met too many pussies who cant stand wearing their ghilie suits.
