I love the mod, but I agree with the OP on the server nukes and admin abuse. I sent admin abuse proof to the dev team and they did nothing. It was a TS recording along with the events. So I understand his frustration. I can deal with anything DayZ does, and changes that are made. But when they ignore the amin abuse, thats the line in the sand for me.

So I really like the idea of only starting with a flashlight. Upon my first death with 1.7.1.1. I went to a night time server to immerse mysyelf in the game. Before last night I killed everyone I have ever ran into without questions. So last night when I spawned in It was dark and I quickly saw another flashlight spinning around and heard someone asking me who I was. Using direct comm we hooked up and I showed him the way to elektro. I knew he was sick because I could hear him coughing. We took shelter inside a house for a few so we could get warm. When we continued on to Elektro, a zed aggroed on my new friend and he was hit and started bleeding. I took the zeds agro so he could banadge, but then I was bleeding. Long story short, the other guy died on the road from blood loss. I ended up making it to elektro with 3,000 blood, lost the zeds and bandaged. The point of this story is, this was the most fun I have had yet spawning up in DayZ. I still have not found any food, but I am loving how hard it is now. Everything means so much more to me when I find it. I hope everyone stops crying about the game and starts enjoying what it is. If you want something easy, left 4 dead is there for those who cant stand losing pixles. Have fun.

Huge FPS drop after playing for about 15 minutes Stuck on loading or creating character, ive only been able to get into 2 servers today. I cant drop my hatchet, it is stuck in my hand. Items sometimes turn into other things in my backpack or inventory. But keep up the good work. Just need some tweaks.

I have never had so much fun hiding from zombies and being more careful. I really enjoy the way it is now. The only thing that sucks is that you are more important than I am. Rocket please make the changes he asked for. Ignore all the people who like the changes. We are not as important.

I see, people kill him when he is loading in. Spawning in would be when you die and start fresh. Just try not to log out where people will find you. I run into the forest and step into a bush.

I like 1.7.1.1 The minority are the 1% who come here and complain and the new changes. You sir are the minority, like it or not. This is the best patch yet.

Lose everything? You have lost nothing. You have nothing when you start. Other than that, no there are no plans to change this, it is a realistic simulator. There are no safe zones and never will be.

yeah food is hard to find, just like it should be. Matches, knifes, and hactchets are fairly easy. So head out and kill an anumal.

This was the best patch so far. This game is so fun now. Player interaction is a lot better now. Food is scarce like it should be. Struggling to find a gun is very fun. The game was far too easy before. You could find anything you wanted with a short amount of work. Then you could stay alive forever, or go looking for a gun fight. Other than that it got boring. The BEST part about this mod is when you have nothing. The search for survival is what it is all about. Once you find everything, the game loses all of its luster until you die. Death is the great release in this mod. I look forward to it because I know Its going to be fun again.

I had this problem last night. The flashlights bug out and wont work. Relog to desktop and log back in. It will fix the light.

It is still very easy. I ran without stoping to elektro, Had about 20 zeds on me. When into ther office building, up the stairs, and climbed down the fire escape. The zeds got lost inside and I started looting stuff. Guns were everywhere inside houses and the firestations. Games is great, I really love the difficulty level now. Just get better at it. This game takes some skill. The people posting the games is too hard, are the bottom feeding, no skill, scrubs.

I stole a car from a player named permaphrost. He typed in sidechat "whoever took my car, i hope you enjoy the rest of your time living". I didnt think anything of it, so I drove to the next town. I see the zombies spawn and thought that was weird because when in a vehicle zombies dont spawn. I look behind me and see him in walking up behind me then he opens fire. I floor it to the next town and slow down. Again shots from behind. I take off and drive 2 more towns then stop. I see someone appear behind me and shoot some more. I try one more time driving even further and faster this time, all the way to the coast. Again someone appears behind me shooting. So I just logged out of that server.

same thing happened to me a few days ago with a guy named permaphrost. He was banned today.

He is too dumb to help himself. Just kick him out and let him find his own way. Sink or swim weak link.
