I understand the OP. I play completely different in first person than I do in third person. In first person I run from cover to cover. I feel I move more like I would in real life. When I take shots, I have no clue where they are coming from usually. So I have to take cover and figure it out. In third person I can peak over and around walls easily with the camera and can find the threat without risking myself to injury. So although I play mostly in 3rd person because it is easier on my eyes, first person makes me sick sometimes. I still think rocket should set the difficulty on all servers and keep it first person with no name tags.

Not sure about the alt f4 rumor. I hear it all the time. I died right next to a friend and I did not alt f4, I just respawned and my body vanished before he could take anything. So I dont buy off on everyone is alt f4ing. I think it is just a bug.

Yeah it sucks, but the game is designed to have you die. Just pretend you came close to some old explosives and continue on. They will get it fixed one of these days. Or maybe not. Hackers are in every game I have ever played and probly ever will play.

People say im hacking but im but we are all still here. Sneaking up on a camp is not appearing out of thin air. We took our time getting in, won a fair fight and you took unfair action on asumptions. Want some proof? How about our team speak conversation?

Being banned from this server for PvP is pure crap. People are farming this server in peace to find good weapons to kill people on non pvp servers. This is an exploit and thats all.

I have only found 1 nvg in weeks of playing this mod. I found it in the deer stand in the north west corner of the balota airfield medic camp. So I know they can be found there. I dont really give a shit if anyone beleives me or not.

There was an official response stating they have been removed from the game for now because the cause too much lag.

Everytime I shoot at someone they take a few shots then they logout. It makes any of the smaller cal weapons useless. If you cant down them in 2 shots they just log out and vanish. Even if you do manage to kill them before they logout, there body vanishes before you can loot it. There needs to be a long logout timer. Take examples from some mmo's. I think it was ultima online that had a 5 minute logout time, unless you were by a campfire. I would like to see DayZ have a 1 minute logout timer unless you are by a camp fire. Right now logging out has too many exploits. You can easily escape pvp. Even if you get hit, you can have your friends log in and rescue you on another server with banadages or epi pens. You can run as fast as you want by zombies to the buildings you want to search (barracks, church, store, etc). Once you are inside you can logout instantly even if zombies are hitting you, then log back in and the zombies are gone. You can now loot in peace because you spawned the items when you ran in the building. You can logout with stuff in your backpack and your body remains for a few seconds. Your friends can loot your stuff and when you log back in you still have it. So many issues with instant logging. Please add a significant timer. If your not safe, you shouldnt be able to logout.

These guys need to have there server pulled. They have no right running a server ruining other peoples fun. I am addin them to our black list along with dallas 22, who did they exact same thing.

I know this is alpha but the server nukes are getting frustrating. I don't get attached to my gear at all, so I can imagine it is very frustrating to people who do. I dont even know how its possible for hackers to nuke the entire server.

From what I have heard, the survivor skin is from Arma 2: Private Military Company. The camo and ghilie suit skins are from Arma 2: British Military Company. I have both those addons and all my stuff is high res.

I read the patch notes about being able to stop the helicopter fuel leaks in the lastest patch notes. Does this mean they are back? Does anyone know what servers have helicopters? I have seen just about everything other than a helicopter and a gps. Well I saw a cobra that a hacker spawned and killed me with, but no legit choppers.

Last night a hacker on US 28 nuked the entire server. Just reporting.

it was pacific time. I would guess around 7 or 8 pm. I did not take note of it. There was a message saying vehicles spawning curtousy of doctor medic. or something like that.

I don't know if this is true or not, but to me it feels like south (the coast) has a lesser chance to spawn good stuff than the north. It was all the same before, but maybe they changed it to get the noobs to push inland faster.

I noticed the same. Ive killed several people who vanished. I also had my friend die next to me, and when I went to pick up some of his stuff his body was gone withint seconds.

When i am playing faster and more careless I choose the akm for the faster fire rate. When I am playing more cautiously I take an enfield. You only need one shot and I usually see the other player first when taking my time. And when you see them first you have a huge advantage. The enfield is loud but the akm is pretty loud also. If you got enough ammo, just run into a building and kill whatever comes in.
