Why is the day and night cycle on real life time? If it was on a 1 hour cycle it would be much better for a survival game. If I log into a day server I know I can ditch all my light sources right off the start. Why do I need a flash light if I know its going to be daytime EVERYTIME I play? A 1 hour cycle could add so much to the game. Nights get colder, you could get sick, more zombies could come out, you need a fire to keep warm, or a rain coat if it is raiining. The potential is endless. Yet we are stuck with either day or night always with no change.

KoS does not need to be fixed. Welcome to your first sandbox game. One of the only true sandbox games made in this pathetic time for the gaming industry. DayZ mod has been going strong since it released long before the standalone, don't worry about it dying anytime soon. Implementing your idea will make this game nothing more than what is already out on the market, shit. The reason it is so popular is the great gaming experience that FREEDOM provides. Take that away and the game is a glitchy peace of crap. The one and ONLY thing dayz has going for it is the true freedom to play anyway you want. It would completely ruin the excitement of the game to do anything to KOS. Also rocket has explained many times before he is doing nothing to take away the freedom for players to kill whoever they want. And god bless rocket for his hardcore attitude and for creating one of the most anticipated games of the year. What did he make 5 million dollars the first weekend? He wouldn't have touched that amount if the game had restrictions.

Intel is going to give you better performance with arma 3 or dayz standalone.

Why is the day and night cycle on a 24 hour cycle like real life? Or is it turned off currently? Most people play the game at the same time everyday, after work, or on the weekend. They should experience a day night cycle in game that is on around a 1 hour timer. That way we have a chance to experience surviving at night, making a campfire, keeping warm etc.

People like you try to ruin DayZ and have been trying since the mod launched long ago. Lucky for us Rocket is not a vag and made a great sandbox game.

Beards in game would be great. Fresh spawns are clean shaved. The longer you survive the longer your beard gets. That way you can identify people who have been alive for a long time or fresh spawns. Do suggestions go here or in the mod section.

What is being done about combat logging? Everyone logs out when they see another player. Also when you kill someone there body leaves when they log out before you can loot them. That was an old problem with the mod and I hope it gets fixed soon.

DayZ is hard and that's why I like it. I would not waste money on a game with safe zones and other dumb shit like that. Go play every other cookie cutter bullshit game out there.

I noticed there is a bug list for version DayZ version 1.7.7 but DayZ commander says im fully updated at version 1.7.6.1. Is DayZ commander not doing the updates anymore? Or do I have the correct latest version.
