In terms of the on screen violence and any graphic scenes, I personally don't think you have anything to worry about. It's really no more gory than some cartoons these days. The ONLY thing that can be a bit of a concern is the attitude / language of some players you will meet. That said, it's pretty much the case with any online game. You will meet these kind of idiots. However, that can easily be avoided by joining a server with no side chat (my preference, this also helps with immersion), join a good clan and use their Teamspeak instead of the public ones. I hate side chat, it's disabled on our server. http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/143226-apocalypse-simulations-epoch-event-this-saturday/ I've found having it disabled helps the immersion, and also makes people actually talk properly to each other at the trade posts etc. TS get's used far more, people feel they get to know each other better. Side chat (in my opinion) is used more for bitching, whining and trolling than it is for anything useful.

I noticed a few new people trying to get on last night, but having the old issue of missing files, guys make sure you have updated Epoch properly - I find this easiest in Dayz Commander, just click on Install, look for the mod on the right and then update.

I play as one of the dedicated UN medical teams on the server, and this weekend we have word that a Takistani Warlord will be invading Chernarus, and I would like you to help us crush the invaders. We have a couple of different factions on the server, and I want to invite you to join us. The server has quite a few additions outside of the standard Epoch mod, including a large Prison, (skins, weapons, fast rope etc), and more will be added. We have the start of a really good, close knit community and you can be a part of that. I would love to see another organised group join us, at the moment we have a large group of mercs, a couple of friendlies, a couple of bandits, and of course the UN, so you can play without immediately being shot on sight, but still get some action.
