1. DayZ Epoch is more like Rust than DayZ 2. It's in Alpha 3. It is only $30 like cmon that's nothing compared to a AAA title and the biggest one that makes me so mad..... 4. In a sandbox game like Minecraft or Rust people can do whatever the game enables to do whether it is to build a base or kill other people. In DayZ however when a game gives you guns, most people are going to use them to kill other people. Yeh sure it was cool back when people robbed people and stuff..... Oh wait that still happens because me and my mates still do it and so do lots of other people. Just cause the last few people you've met have shot you even though you're unarmed didn't rob you doesn't mean that everyone does. Hell, I hate trusting fresh spawns because I have everything to lose and they have lots to gain so what's saying they won't just punch you in the face a couple of times and steal your loot. Seriously I would only take the opinion of someone having at least 50 hours and me having 150 I say this game is good. Not amazing right now because of the bugs and zombies but good. It has a long way to go but eventually it will get there but seriously man you cannot say a game is bad because of the PEOPLE THAT PLAY IT This isn't "Apocalyptic Team Survival PvE" where the only things players should do is kill zeds. Jeez that's stupid and this game would be so boooooooring if everyone was friendly helping each other. There would be no heart-racing firefights and tense moments when you're looting a building and someone walks in. You're right about somethings but just cause you are bad at the game and expecting to play it like a PvE zombie survival, you're going to have a bad time and complain and whinge and claim that it's bad. Go true out infection survival stories. That sounds like the game you're talking about. This game has way friendlier people man and you just haven't been lucky enough to run into them

Well they made it so if you shoot people that the stuff gets ruined. SO YOU DON'T GAIN ANYTHING OR MUCH FROM KOS'ing So if you want pristine, sneak up on a guy and rob him

I only trust fresh spawns since well I have a gun and they don't so every time they try and kill me I kill them. I find trusting randoms on this game sometimes pointless as many of them try and kill you. So next time just take their pants and leave them (:

So after browsing the internet, I found that there were no real good DayZ quiz'. There was one quiz however it was using the terms rogue, warrior etc. etc. So I decided I'd have a go at making my own Quiz. I've got two years mod experience plus now the standalone so I think I have enough experience to do it CLICK HERE -> What sort of Player are you on DayZ? <- CLICK HERE If you have any ideas for questions, put it down below or send it to me privately through inbox. So far there are only 13 questions so it will take you only a couple of minutes to complete. I will add a few more overtime but not many. How it works? Most answers give you points to Hero, Survivor, Bandit and KOS'er Some answers give you points to both Hero + Survivor and Bandit + KOS'er (since there aren't always specific sort of ideas on whether that was a Hero or Survivor thing to do). At the end of the quiz, your points are added up and the outcome (Hero, Survivor etc.) than comes up. YOUR RESULT MAY NOT BE CORRECT if you answered with results that aren't consistent (for example saying you'll give beans yet you like to snipe people for no reason) will mean you will get a result that doesn't look right. The only result that matters is your outcome. The other percentages make no difference!!! NOTE: THERE CAN ONLY BE 6 OPTIONS MAXIMUM FOR EACH QUESTION ON THIS WEBSITE so don't go asking for an extra option on a question that already has 6 answers. Some answers give survivor and hero points but the only result that matters is the main result. You got hero by the way which is good

KOS'ers shoot people without interacting. They kill on sight and whatever you just described definitely didn't kill on sight

Good point actually, I've added in those options now. Although I don't use guns for killing zombies, I use my axe.

Thank you for admitting that because with any of these quizzes you need to answer consistently to a degree to get a good result.

The questions are automated by the website not me, also another question that I did as a poll was where a player spends most of his time. They make no difference to the result of the quiz. None of the situations other than one involve you being shot at. Meaning that if you shot in all the other situations, it would be KOS. KOS means to Kill on sight so if you didn't choose to interact with the player than yes that is a KOS'er type of act.

Survivor is still good but unless you chose the extremely selfless options, you won't get hero but still that's good

You make good points but yes the major problem with the quiz or almost any quiz in general is that everyone has their own opinion on what everything is. Which is why every quiz doesn't work for everyone. Heroism generally speaking is helping other players in positive ways Survivors generally avoid other players or have a neutral relationship with other players Bandits generally find other players, taunt them and rob them. Maybe killing them. KOS'ers are generally the people that opt out of interacting with people and shoot them without speaking to them beforehand. However I list the general idea of what a hero, survivor, bandit or KOS'er would do in that situation based on what my friends (who are heroes, survivors, bandits and kos'ers) do. Of course their are other ways of doing things that are heroic without interaction but because of the limited options I just list a heroic sort of act that I see most frequently. If you're a hero, choose what you think appears to be the heroic option if you think you're a hero. If you choose an option and don't get the desired result than you may not be a hero in the eyes of the quiz. This doesn't mean however you aren't. What I consider heroism is what my friends consider heroism as one of them is a hero and he'll do every one of the hero options even if it resulted in death. Some heroes may be different of course as you just mentioned but I don't consider what you do heroic. Hell it sounds cowardly, you running to a location where he or she may find the gear blah blah I'm limited to six option per question but I though I'd made the hero options quite obvious, even if they sound stupid, they are what my friend who is a hero and many other heroes I've seen and played with do. I didn't pull these ideas out my bum but I definitely see your point (: and couldn't agree more, there are quite a few ways to go about every one of those situations.

As I said you can offer ideas for questions but if you answered with hero like options than you should have got hero

No only the options which say "shoot like a spaz" or "shoot them" are ones that give you only KOS points. Options like take his gear than shoot give you bandit and KOS points

You may of chose answers which were KOS'er and Bandit answers. Having below %70 of something means you wouldn't really consider it to be a play style of your type.

Bandits normally interact with other players in negative ways, normally resulting in the victims death. You sound more like a KOS'er than a bandit.
