So the saiga-12 has been confirmed and in the works and blah blah. What I want to know is what attachments we can potentially get for the shot guns, Personally chokes would be AMAZING. Adjustable chokes would be better! Also when they add slugs back in, why not be able to get rifled barrels for the shot guns in? You have smooth bore already, but rifled would be better for slugs. Point is I'm pretty excited for the new weapon to be added in. What other shot guns do you guys want in or anything you'd like to see added for them?

With the new spawning crap in, I'm not sure where the netting is located. Is it still on the boats? Can somebody confirm?

They spawn on boats. I went down and looked. It took about an hour but I found enough. Now just green pain and I'll be good to go :)

I usually play first person because the gameplay is a lot better because nobody can exploit the 3rd person shit with it. In anycase, the highest first person server I can come across is maybe 5/40 people at a time. This is really annoying to me because I want to run into people. The only people who you actually run into are in the obvious military spots and that is no fun at all. Anyway, it makes me want to go back to third person and I really really don't want to do that due to no loot due to server hopping and just no fun at all with combat. Rant.Rant.Rant. What perspective do you guys play on and why? INB4 people say 3rd cause they wanna see their character. Let's be real here, nobody is falling for it. You can see your character in the tab screen.

I'll probably remain on first person simply due to more loot and what not. Until I get a feel for how loot economy works. Then when they fix the camera I may switch over. MAYBE. It's just such a pain in the ass that somebody can lay down on a roof top with a sniper and see you without giving themselves away.

The breathing isn't that bad. In fact I don't even notice it at all and I travel a lot. That being said, I usually am chatting to friends when I travel. With the radio next patch coming in I'll be listening to that on my fucking triathlon.

I mean, I kinda enjoy gearing up and the occasional player is nice. I mean I seriously doubt I'd find a vss, svd or any of the new toys on a 3rd person server. That being said, I'd also like to use those toys on players.

So I was looking through objects that have been shown. http://i.imgur.com/4k44ZDml.png This one came up. It's a map of chernarus. It shows cherno on the far right and the rest of the place on the left. Is it possible the devs are going to replicate this map in some way? That would be really really really huge. Then I notice that Takistan (Which was a arma 2 map) is on the left on the border. Are devs going to stitch maps together for really big servers? OR instancing the maps? Or do you guys think that maybe I'm reading to much and not going to happen? Thoughts? Devs clearing this up would be nice.

I'd really enjoy underground areas. I know a subway wouldn't make sense cause of the above ground rails, but having basements and shit like that would be pretty cool. Underground bunkers maybe? Make it like a maze.

Why would you be able to put the suppressor on the already suppressed .22 pistol? Because they are testing the mechanic, it's not set in stone. As it stands right now, it is just in. It doesn't suppress the shot. It's loud, it doesn't change the noise of it. Those guys didn't show anything other than running in a field with it on and off and just guessing without ranges. As it is right now, it doesn't do anything. It's not suppressed because it's loud. You're dumb. Keep preaching that it's suppressed though.

I have a hard time believing they will add a suppressor to the mosin. If they add a suppressor to any high caliber gun then I seriously doubt it would be common as they are generally not used IRL. That being said, I wouldn't pass it by them to add it in. It would probably be for more modern rifles like the SVD or something like that.

Are you saying that military personnel are using double barrel shot guns only? Come on OP. This is an alpha game. They want people to test weapons and play with them. It's not a full game and balancing isn't needed as such. Once they add more guns into the game and more realistic damage models rather than JUST base hp as it currently is, then full auto weapons will spread out. That being said, in real life if you had to choose between a double barrel or an ak with a 75 round drum, are you saying you would choose the double barrel? Full auto guns are suppose to be good. It's called progressing forward. That being said, the way the team is going with zombies and what not, running and gunning inside a town isn't a smart idea once they get zombies to their full number and proper Ai.

I prefer the weapon sway with the mosin and what not. Let's be real here, mosins aren't accurate in real life. It's an old gun and not a sniper rifle, they just put a scope on it and there you go. I figure they will make sway more realistic when they add more long range guns with scopes and just adjust accuracy of the rifle accordingly.

LMG's aren't really made for close range. They are bulky and heavy and very cumbersome and that is without the ammo attached. I mean, any gun is deadly at close range, but LMG's aren't something you run and gun with. They kick like a mule most of the time. I think LMG's should be in the game, but mostly russian ones like PKM, PKP, RPK's ect ect. I don't really think the m60 and american guns that are very old would be in that setting since there are better more modern guns than them. Just my 2 cents.

IIRC, they are doing an overhaul for the ui. It's in the works.

That like never happens to me. I keep my shit in my back pack and If I get shot in the bag, I'm probably going to die regardless. The only time I'd go close quarters with a sniper is if my friends are pinned down or something so I know where the enemy is anyway.

Let's say you are carrying a mosin or the upcoming winchester. It's nice to have a full auto gun on you so you can handle close quarters a bit better than a standard pistol.

It kills in about 3 shots from what I noticed.

When ghillie suits were 6 per 6 restarts or something like that. Now they are pretty common so I'm fairly happy about that. I was getting fed up with everything being really really really rare and all that. I got super excited for the suits only to hear that they are also really rare. Which really upset me since netting should be the easiest thing to come by.

Thought ever occur to you that lots of people server hop too?

Got another. Bumping as well. My friends any myself were looting the firestation in electro. Me and 2 others. Due to connection issues on my part they stayed in there to protect me coming in and killed 3 people trying to get in. Finally I got in an 20 seconds later a guy walks in. I tell my friends not to shoot and tell the guy to get on his knees. "Oh my god! What did you do to those people!?" He asked. We decided to cut up their bodies and force feed it to him. He was begging and pleading for us not to do it and he would suck our dicks in return. We force fed him 4 steaks. We uncuffed him and we told him not to come back. He said "alright, but I'm pulling out my pistol now" which he does. We tell him to drop it, but he places it against his head. "I can't live knowing what I have done!" he says and shoots himself. It was really really fucking funny. It was better because he was talking in russian accent too. At least I think it was russian.
