So I figure it would be pretty cool way down the line of day z beta if the team could develop ages in the game. I mean such as younger players and younger zombies, or older players and older looking zombies. Between a reasonable age, like 16-50ish. Also I think it would be neat if these ages set apart you're natural ability in the game. Older = wiser so better with bandaging and what not, but also means you're more liable to breaks or injury and sickness. The average age would just be you're plain all around average joe he is normal at basically everything. Younger people would be a bit worse with guns in terms of recoil. You're also a smaller target to hit though. Just an Idea that I would like to see. Also I feel if there were a difference between ages in day z, that they should be very different. Not so simplified. If we get new skeletons for players we could probably implement it for zombies too.

I really would like some more shot guns in the game, although I would want some more basic shot guns in before this gets in. I think everyone would be switching over to the UTS in a heart beat with how plentiful shot gun shells are. -
900ish meters was the limit on the mod and stand alone. I don't think it can be changed yet.

Wiki says its generally used >400m. Hell in the arma mod the bullet drop at that point was terrible and the delay on the bullet was basically two seconds too.

It's 9×39. bullet time is slow on it in arma 2. I really like it even if they nerf the shit out of it. I think they should add it.

Ear plugs for firing guns or else you get a loud ringing in your ears

Just make it so bigger calibur guns cause the issue or rapid firing. Like every time you fire a pistol it adds +2 to your deafness which keeps building to not hearing. It multiplies when you're inside by 4 or something. Each calibur gets progressively more loud from 22 at 1, 9mm at 2, 45 at 3 ect ect. Having a silencer would reduce this count in half for all guns, you can still get deaf by shooting indoors, but it does help a lot. Ear plugs make you half way to the deaf meter but you dont take any damage to it. I dunno. just throwing out ideas. Forgot to mention, the deafness meter should go down over time. It can't be brought down any other means though. -

I think that money will be sorted out by the economy like how diablo 2 was. You would find these items in it called "high runes" which made a lot of really really good gear in it. You would trade these raw high runes for rings and weapons and what not. More rare the item the more high runes your needed. I think we should just play it out as it is. Although metro idea would be cool. -
i mean, if were all suppose to be civilians and not nerves of superman type of people, then shouldnt we be flinching when we get shot near? i mean if i was getting shot near i think i would be trying my best to not get my head blown off. IE covering my head with hands and shit like that. i think it would be neat to implement something like that later on.

No, this is a big deal. dean is lying to us about pooping cans, if he wants any more support to the game then he should fix this immediatly. i dont care if its alpha. this is a game breaking thing.

alright so me and my friend were talking about our favorite type of gameplay, which is night time. the worst thing is though is that people turn gamma and brightness and that totally defeats the purpose of it. rocket has already said that he wants to keep this in the game which is fine. i figure he allows you to change the brightness and gamma ONLY when your creating a new character. that way people will be forced to stick with whatever they have. real shitty day time but amazing night time or have really nice day but dark as fuck night time. thoughts?
