I using fraps for record and windows movie maker for edit is free but is limit on feature but if you only want to do simple movie is doing good job :thumbsup: ;) soon I doing upgrade to sony vegas because it having more feature example better sound tools and graphics option for improve presentation etc

you talking about in game map or 3rd party dayzdb style map? if you mean in game map is good for explore you can use map to find where you are in relation to where you wanting to go map is tool but is need knowledge for making sense ;) example you find town read the sign but you don't recognise where is open map find town ok, is lake to south for drink and airfield to north for good loot and player :thumbsup: :) map give info for assist you in explore me I don't really use now the map because I play a lot learn where is most places but for new guys map help a lot but don't ruin explore is enhance explore experience for them ;) waypoint was ruin explore more than map if you talking 3rd party map I agree is bullshit ruin fun thing >:(
