I agree. Any three didget player count is too much to handle for the map. I also don't fancy the Idea of adding more military bases. Less is more. Instead increase the amount of civilian rifle spawns... Less M4/MP5, more Mosin, more Blazer, and longhorns.

Skills suck. Just make the game really hard, and add the ToH flight mechanics, and the issue will sort itself out.

I got one for like 9 years when I went to school. (I'm german) Edit : I think we really shouldn't bother with the "background" thingy so much, given that we have these M4's in game

I also think that that 'd be a good thing. Moar zombies. Mess with the Alpha as much as you can! That's what I signed up for. :) Weparo

When Map Making comes, in the far far future, what will you make?

The more I get to know you, the more I start to like you... -
Rocket liked the idea, but everything else is just rumours. Don't count on it anyways. Bohemia is a PC company :P

Still looks great! I ought to fire up DayZ again to find one!

I'm constantly shocked they don't throw all development into vehicles

It's nice to see that you are actually concerned with things and not just pushing your agenda like at troll :) Anyways, I very well understand you, but we should be honest with ourselves. This is what we've been warned about. Alpha, alpha, a dead horse, I know. But I wouldn't neccesary recommend the game to friends neither atm (they all already got it already anyways, :D ) The point is that we/you should come back in half a year, the we'll see how things are. It just takes time. Weparo -
Feedback about shootgun. Another frustrating episode

A shotgun should be fairly accurate out to 150 meters, depending on the gauge. What's described there is very worring. -
I spend like close to 1k euros on my rig, which is not as much as you need, but I wanted to max out all my games :D I'd guess that 600 to 700 should do the trick. If you can re-use some old components of your current PC, it'll be much cheaper. The most essential part of a dayz/arma PC is the CPU. I got the i5 4670k, which is perfect. (200 eur). The rest of the system should be build around that CPU, depending on your financial resources.

Does it matter? I realize that the map is not used alot, and most people don't need it, but it would make a better impression of the game if the map was russian/cyrillic. Besides immersion of course. If it's too complex of a change to make for the dev team then, well so be it. But don't tell us that you ain't chainging it because it doesn't matter, or people just learn the map my heart anyways. You could just aswell remove the map as a whole.

Well, the 1337 players may not need it, but it'd still be nice to have it!

To be honest, I like none of you ideas... :( Exept the spawning of zombie hordes in the wild, wandering around. :) If you don't feel comfortable around that "border" (I don't blame you, it does look hideous) there are two options : #1 Don't go there (duh). I mean, I've seen it once or twice, when flying in a helo, but that aside, why would you go there? There is literally nothing up there. #2 This is my preferred way of dealing with it : The map shouldn't end so abrupt, but instead the forest should slowly change into something like a savana, where eventually even the gras dissapears. You won't even be able to tell where exactly the map ends :) Weparo

Does Dayz Standalone have the worst zombies in any game ?

How can you people tell? SA isn't even released yet! -
Animations tied to movement, rather than the other way around

I like that a lot to be honest, but I can't see them changing basically the fundamentals of the engine. I'd be nice though
